Documentary:
Behold the “New American Catholic” of 1968

Fr. William Nerin (1926-2020) presides over a liturgical travesty

In the last post, we saw that Paul VI himself came up with the expression “Conciliar Church” in March of 1966 to describe the ecclesial monstrosity his Second Vatican Council had created.

In the present post, we will look at some of the first fruits, so to speak, of that New Church in the United States.

In June of 1968, the American TV channel NBC aired a 50-minute documentary entitled The New American Catholic, and it shows how unrecognizable this new “Catholic Church” was less than 10 years after Pope Pius XII had died.… READ MORE

Naturalize to Neutralize: How Francis slyly deprives the Gospel of its Supernatural Character

Every Sunday, the Argentinian apostate Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) prays the Angelus from a window of the Apostolic Palace. Before its recitation, he typically delivers homiletic remarks on the Gospel of the day, and afterwards, he greets the people in attendance, mentions prayer requests, and comments on current affairs.

So too on Sunday, Mar. 20, 2022 (video here).

In a separate post, we already critically examined his post-Angelus comments that day about the war in Ukraine being “sacrilegious because it goes against the sacredness of human life….”… READ MORE

Refuting a Novus Ordo apologist…

Yes, Judas is in Hell:
Response to Steve Kellmeyer

Steve Kellmeyer is a “conservative” Novus Ordo apologist who runs a blog appropriately named The Fifth Column. Its tagline, however, is misleading: “Orthodox Catholic commentary on current events.”

Just how orthodox that Fifth Column is, we have had occasion to demonstrate in the past:

This past Sunday, Apr.… READ MORE

As wrong as it is to mistreat others, it’s not sacrilege…

Francis claims mistreating Human Beings is “Sacrilege”:
A Reality Check on the Sacred and the Profane

When it concerns man rather than God, he gets serious: The apostate pseudo-pope Jorge Bergoglio

You know something is off when Francis complains about sacrilege. He’s just not into religion enough to be concerned about the profanation of the sacred. In fact, if there is one thing he is really good at, besides uttering heresy and blasphemy, it’s committing sacrilege.

His placing of an offering to the “Mother Earth” goddess Pachamama on the high altar of St.READ MORE

Bergoglio denies traditional ‘just war’ doctrine…

Francis says “Wars Are Always Unjust”,
contradicting traditional Catholic Moral Doctrine

It is not difficult to see that Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) is no serious theologian.

He himself in fact acknowledges as much, at least when it suits his agenda: “I leave that question to the theologians and those who understand”, he answered in 2015 when asked about permitting “inter-communion” with Lutherans. Bergoglio is also on record saying that “[s]tudying fundamental theology is one of the most boring things on earth”, and his hatred of Scholasticism — characteristic of all Modernists, according to Pope St.… READ MORE

Francis Unhinged: Word of God leads us to Man, Caring for Others more important than Religious Ceremony

“And he opened his mouth unto blasphemies against God” (Apoc 13:6):
The Jesuit apostate and false pope Jorge Bergoglio

This past Sunday, Jan. 23, 2022, the Novus Ordo Church celebrated “Sunday of the Word of God” for its Third Sunday in Ordinary Time (in the traditional Roman calendar, it was the Third Sunday after the Epiphany). The feast was instituted only recently by “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) himself, with the motu proprio letter Aperuit Illis of Sep. 30, 2019.… READ MORE

In Memoriam:
Centenary of the Death of Pope Benedict XV (1914-1922)

It was at 6:00 am local time, exactly 100 years ago today, that His Holiness Pope Benedict XV breathed his last. January 22, 1922, was a Sunday.

After almost seven-and-a-half years, Benedict’s pontificate was over. The Pope’s death was not sudden but had announced itself, as it were, a few days in advance. Tragically, there had been some premature reports of the Pope’s passing, but on Jan. 22, the official confirmation came from the Vatican.

The following are clips of some newspaper title pages of Jan.… READ MORE

Still Lost in Blunderland: Refuting Peter Kwasniewski’s Latest Specious Attack on Ultramontanism

(PART THREE)

by Francis del Sarto

CONTINUED FROM PART 2

A Brief Review

In PART ONE of this article, we saw how Dr. Peter Kwasniewski discusses Ultramontanism and the Papacy using a strangely un-Catholic approach to the topic. His use of a secular encyclopedia rather than a Catholic theological reference work for his starting point was a telling and, surely, a totally calculated move on his part to help him discredit Ultramontanism. The real traditional Catholic position is at direct odds with his imaginary renderings of theology and Church history.… READ MORE

It’s that time of the year again!

Francis lectures Roman Curia on Humility, warns of Rigidity and other “Perverse Temptations”

For the Roman Curia in Vatican City, this is the least wonderful time of the year.

Year after year, just before Christmas, the Argentinian squatter occupying the Vatican guest house under the pseudonym “Pope Francis” (Jorge Bergoglio) likes to call his curial officials into his presence so he can give them a piece of his mind. The last two years were a bit of an exception, but this year he “once again dole[d] out some good old-fashioned fraternal correction”, as Vatican reporter Bob Mickens put it.… READ MORE

No, Catholics Can’t “Recognize and Resist”:
Response to One Peter Five

As seen on its masthead, the web site One Peter Five has as its stated goal: “Rebuilding Catholic Culture. Restoring Catholic Tradition.”

In the name of a defense of Tradition, contributor Eric Sammons published the following post today:

The article stands out for making unsubstantiated claims, a very common problem in “recognize-and-resist” circles. That is not to say that all its claims are false, of course; but it does show, it seems, a certain disrespect for the reader, who is apparently expected to simply accept what the author puts forward.… READ MORE

Francis endorses controversial “New Ways Ministry”

UPDATES 13-DEC-2021 20:56 UTC:

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

After over eight years at the helm of the Vatican II Sect, Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) is still busy doing what he does best: cause chaos.

On Dec. 8, the public was informed that earlier this year, the Argentinian Jesuit pretending to be Pope had sent two private letters to Mr. Francis DeBernardo, the executive director of the controversial New Ways Ministry, an American “Catholic” organization that promotes sexual sins against nature and falsifies the Gospel of Jesus Christ.… READ MORE

Indifferentism for Kids: Francis endorses interreligious “Park of Encounter” in Argentina

On Oct. 20, 2021, the city of Santiago del Estero in Argentina inaugurated what amounts to an interreligious park. Called Parque del Encuentro (“Park of Encounter”), it features buildings representative of each of the five most common religions there: Buddhism, Judaism, the Vatican II religion (under the false label “Catholicism”), Islam, and Protestantism. The site is part of Aguirre Park and is aimed especially at children.

The image above shows what the finished product looks like. The setup virtually screams “Indifferentism”, the belief that one religion is as good as another, that all religions are more or less equal, that it does not matter what one believes.… READ MORE

Is there a “Problem” with Transubstantiation?
Response to Hendro Munsterman

The beautiful Catholic dogma of Transubstantiation has long been a thorn in the side of Modernists and other heretical innovators. Not surprisingly, therefore, it is also under attack in the Novus Ordo Church, which, although teaching the dogma in its official universal catechism, denies or attacks it in various other ways.

For instance, the Vatican II Church undermines belief in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist by the way it offers “Mass”, in the way “Holy Communion” is distributed, and in the fact that it authorizes even heretics and now also public adulterers to receive the ostensible Blessed Sacrament under certain circumstances.… READ MORE

Hot Air Alert:
Francis warns Mankind of God’s Judgment!

Breaking news: The Jesuit apostate Jorge Bergoglio, better known by his stage name, “Pope Francis”, has suddenly warned mankind of “God’s judgment” if it should not finally amend its ways!

What brought this on? Did the false pope accidentally open an accurate translation of the New Testament? Did memory of his childhood catechism classes suddenly return? Did he have a long-overdue conversion a few weeks before his 85th birthday? Is he becoming remorseful concerning all the Modernist piffle he has been spouting for so many years?… READ MORE

Thirteen Inconvenient Questions
for the Society of St. Pius X

It has now been over three years that the priestly fraternity established in 1970 by Abp. Marcel Lefebvre, the so-called Society of St. Pius X (SSPX), has had a new superior general. On July 11, 2018, the SSPX general chapter convened in Econe, Switzerland, and elected Fr. Davide Pagliarani for a twelve-year term to succeed Bp. Bernard Fellay as head of the group, who had been in office since 1994.

Considering how antithetical to all the SSPX stands for, the last eight-and-a-half years under “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) have been, one would think that the Lefebvrists are up in arms against the brazen apostasy being constantly perpetrated by the man they insist is the Vicar of Christ on earth.… READ MORE
