How we got to this point:
Bp. Sanborn explains the History of Christendom

Most Rev. Donald J. Sanborn

We live in the year of our Lord 2019. Although it has been evident for a long time that this world is headed in the wrong direction, certainly the last six years of “Pope” Francis have convinced a great many who consider themselves faithful Catholics that something is terribly amiss, not just in the world but also in the institution they believe to be the Roman Catholic Church. The world is drowning in unbelief, false philosophies, immorality, and hostilities; and the religion practiced and preached in the Vatican is simply no longer the Catholic religion of Pope Pius XII and his predecessors.

Building the City of God AND Man?
Francis and the Idolatry of Migrants

If you want to know what cause is really near and dear to “Pope” Francis’ heart, you just need to see what it is that he never shuts up about. As our Blessed Lord said: “…out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” (Lk 6:45), and this is true for the fake pope Jorge Bergoglio as much as it is for anyone else.

We thus turn to Exhibit A in this regard: Francis’ perpetual solicitude for, and quasi-idolatry of, migrants.

On May 27, the Vatican released Francis’ Message for the 105th World Day of Migrants and Refugees 2019, which will be observed on September 29.

The Francis Show in Bulgaria…

“We Are The World” and other Blasphemies at Francis’ Interreligious Peace Meeting in Sofia

[UPDATE 07-MAY-2019: Prelates of the Orthodox religion refused to attend the meeting.]

On Apr. 10, 2015, we told you that Jorge Bergoglio’s religion is basically a theological version of the famous song We Are The World, although the word “theological” was perhaps too generous.

The Jesuit pretend-pope is currently in the middle of a blather tour “Apostolic journey” to Bulgaria and North Macedonia. Today, May 6, he participated in an interreligious prayer meeting for peace in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia, together with Orthodox, Armenians, Protestants, Jews, and Muslims (see photos here).

Fifty Years of Paul VI’s “New Mass”

by Francis del Sarto

“Truly, if one of the devils in C. S. Lewis’s The Screwtape Letters had been entrusted with the ruin of the liturgy, he could not have done it better.” –Dietrich von Hildebrand

“Every sectarian who wishes to introduce a new doctrine finds himself, unfailingly, face to face with the Liturgy, which is Tradition at its strongest and best, and he cannot rest until he has silenced this voice, until he has torn up these pages which recall the faith of past centuries.” –Dom Prosper Guéranger, O.S.B.

Fool me once, shame on you…

Francis lies to Athanasius Schneider, tells him he meant God wills Diversity of Religions merely Permissively

Is that a Masonic handshake? Just asking…

Last Friday, Mar. 1, it was time again for the quinquennial ad limina visit of the Novus Ordo bishops of Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Canon Law stipulates that diocesan bishops report in person to the Pope every five years to inform him of the state of their dioceses and discuss any problems and concerns with him (see Canons 340-342 of the Catholic 1917 Code; Canons 399-400 of the Novus Ordo 1983 Code).

We had been warned…

A Prophecy from 1869: “Satan is going to wage the Fiercest Attacks to try to Annihilate the Church”

It behooves Catholics to beware of private revelations: certainly of those that have not been approved by the Church, which must be avoided, but even of those that have been approved. Although the latter are judged by the Church to be free from error in Faith or morals and therefore safe to familiarize oneself with, it is important not to get attached to this kind of revelation because it is not necessary for our salvation and is given only to specific people, at a specific point in time, for a specific purpose.

Ark of Apostasy:
Why Francis’ Interreligious Fraternity Document does Not Admit of an Orthodox Interpretation

The apostate Jesuit Jorge Bergoglio — more commonly known by his stage name “Pope Francis” — caused a ruckus last week when he co-signed a document on “human fraternity” with Sunni Muslim Imam Ahamad Al-Tayyib declaring that God wills there to be a plurality and diversity of religions. We covered this in our post “Apostasy in Abu Dhabi: Francis says God wills Diversity of Religions”.

Just before the signing of the joint declaration, Francis gave a lengthy speech in which he called all participants of the interreligious conference he was attending to “enter together as one family into an ark which can sail the stormy seas of the world: the ark of fraternity.” In a separate article, we dismantled Francis’ sophistry and demonstrated how his address contradicts the traditional and immemorial Catholic teachings left and right.

The document has been published in as many as seven languages:

The National Catholic Register and Life Site broke the story late on Friday, Feb.

No Ark of Salvation:
A Critical Look at Francis’ “Ark of Fraternity” Speech

In addition to joining his imam friend Ahamad Al-Tayyib to sign an outrageous document that blatantly promotes apostasy, “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) also gave a speech at the so-called Global Conference of Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Feb. 4.

Here is the full video of the talks given by all the speakers and the document signing at the end:

We will go ahead now and examine some of the nonsense Francis put forward in his speech:

The logo of this journey depicts a dove with an olive branch.

Sixty years without a Pope — how could this happen?

Like Sheep without a Shepherd:
60 Years of Sede Vacante

During last year’s Fatima Conference sponsored by the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen (CMRI) in Spokane, Washington, Mr. Mario Derksen, pictured below, delivered a lecture on the subject of 60 years of sede vacante since the death of Pope Pius XII on October 9, 1958. We are happy to be able to share the 42-minute audio recording and also a written transcript in this post.

Looking at the extreme devastation of the Catholic landscape that has been wrought in the past 60 years, Mr.

Bergoglio and Anti-Clericalism

Investigating the charge of “Clericalism”…

Bergoglio and Anti-Clericalism:

Why has Francis appropriated Rhetoric derived from Virulent Enemies of the Catholic Church?

by Francis del Sarto

“I believe the Lord wants a change in the Church. I have said many times that a perversion of the Church today is clericalism”, declared “Pope” Francis in a private meeting with 28 of his fellow Novus Ordo Jesuits during his visit to Lithuania. “I know that the Lord wants the Council to make headway in the Church” (source).

And many, indeed, have been the instances where Francis has invoked the specter of “clericalism”, dating back as far as his 2013 social justice warrior manifesto — er, “apostolic exhortation” — Evangelii Gaudium, where he pushed the Vatican II “people of God” nonsense, complaining that

[l]ay people are, put simply, the vast majority of the people of God.

Before Francis, there was Benedict…

Ratzinger’s Roman Apostasy Symbolism

At a time when “Pope Emeritus” Benedict XVI is once again held in the highest esteem by countless people who are fed up with “Pope” Francis, a little reality check is in order lest we forget that few individuals are more personally responsible for the near-total collapse of Catholicism in our day than the former Joseph Ratzinger.

In 2006, a German publisher released a 48-page booklet entitled Ratzingers römische Apostasie-Symbolik, written by Dr. Wigand Siebel (1929-2014) and Dr. Carl Angermayr. In 2007, the work was translated into English as Ratzinger’s Roman Apostasy Symbolism, and it is this translation Novus Ordo Watch is now excited to make widely available in electronic format, entirely free of charge, with the permission of the translator.

Novus Ordo priest punished for “heresy and schism”…

Francis Critic “Fr.” Alessandro Minutella declared Excommunicated

The Archlayman of Palermo has announced that one of the Novus Ordo priests in his diocese, the 45-year-old “Fr.” Alessandro Minutella, has excommunicated himself for the crimes of heresy and schism. The statement put out by the Archdiocese of Palermo to that effect was quickly reported on Vatican News and in English reads as follows:

On November 13, 2018, Father Alessandro Maria Minutella was notified of the Decree of August 15, 2018 (Prot. No. 046/18) by which the Archbishop Corrado Lorefice DECLARES the excommunications latae sententiae, which the same priest has incurred for the crime of heresy and for the crime of schism, as required by canon law (cf.

A papal reality check…

A Conspiracy against the Catholic Church?

The True Popes Speak

When discussing the issue of Sedevacantism with Novus Ordos, it is not uncommon that someone will dismiss it on the grounds that it involves a “conspiracy”; and of course nothing is more absurd to contemporary man than giving credence to a position that differs from what most others hold to be the obvious truth.

Two thousand years ago, our Blessed Lord taught: “…the truth shall make you free” (Jn 8:32). People who love and seek the truth ought to be concerned about, not whether something involves a conspiracy, but whether it is true.

Iceland’s New Temple to Norse Gods looks like Novus Ordo Church

Credit: Magnus Jensson

We have often mentioned that Novus Ordo churches look like pagan temples, and today we can report that pagan temples also look like Novus Ordo churches.

In February of 2015 it was announced that Iceland was getting ready to build its first temple to the country’s historic Pagan gods in more than 1,000 years. These plans are beginning to take on concrete shape now. As the Nordic edition of Business Insider reports, a new idolatrous temple is being erected on behalf of the Asatru Society (Hof Ásatrúarfélagsins) for the worship of Odin and Thor, two of the gods of Norse mythology.
