The first fruits of Vatican II…

Documentary:
Behold the “New American Catholic” of 1968

Fr. William Nerin (1926-2020) presides over a liturgical travesty

In the last post, we saw that Paul VI himself came up with the expression “Conciliar Church” in March of 1966 to describe the ecclesial monstrosity his Second Vatican Council had created.

In the present post, we will look at some of the first fruits, so to speak, of that New Church in the United States.

In June of 1968, the American TV channel NBC aired a 50-minute documentary entitled The New American Catholic, and it shows how unrecognizable this new “Catholic Church” was less than 10 years after Pope Pius XII had died.… READ MORE

False Pope Paul VI to Lay Leaders in 1966: Transform Yourselves “into the Image of the Conciliar Church”!

It is often thought that the first appearance of the term “Conciliar Church” was in 1976, when “Archbishop” (later “Cardinal”) Giovanni Benelli, then the Vatican’s Substitute Secretary of State, wrote in a letter to Abp. Marcel Lefebvre, founder of the traditionalist Society of St. Pius X (SSPX):

Do not use as a pretext the confused state of the seminarians who were to be ordained: this is just the opportunity to explain to them and to their families that you cannot ordain them to the service of the Church against the will of the supreme Pastor of the Church.

The Man of Sorrows:
A Loving Plea for the Conversion of the Jews

It is Good Friday. Today more than on any other day of the year, the Crucified Christ speaks to the world, and it is a message of infinite love. As St. Francis of Assisi writes in his meditation for the Twelfth Station of the Cross: “Behold Jesus crucified! Behold His wounds received for love of you! His whole appearance betokens love. His head is bent to kiss you. His arms are extended to embrace you.… READ MORE

Francis to the Pyramid: Antipope Bergoglio to visit World Religions Congress in Kazakhstan in September

Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a nation in Central Asia which until 1991 was part of the Communist Soviet Union and is predominantly Muslim.

On Apr. 11, 2022, President Tokayev held a video conference with the Argentinian apostate Jorge Bergoglio, who is better known to the world by his stage name, “Pope Francis”. Both the Kazakh press and Vatican News report that during the meeting Francis expressed his desire to visit the nation’s capital of Nur-Sultan (until 2019 known as Astana) to attend the seventh triennial Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, planned for Sep.… READ MORE

Distorting the Gospel, lest souls be saved…

Naturalize to Neutralize: How Francis slyly deprives the Gospel of its Supernatural Character

Every Sunday, the Argentinian apostate Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) prays the Angelus from a window of the Apostolic Palace. Before its recitation, he typically delivers homiletic remarks on the Gospel of the day, and afterwards, he greets the people in attendance, mentions prayer requests, and comments on current affairs.

So too on Sunday, Mar. 20, 2022 (video here).

In a separate post, we already critically examined his post-Angelus comments that day about the war in Ukraine being “sacrilegious because it goes against the sacredness of human life….”… READ MORE

Refuting a Novus Ordo apologist…

Yes, Judas is in Hell:
Response to Steve Kellmeyer

Steve Kellmeyer is a “conservative” Novus Ordo apologist who runs a blog appropriately named The Fifth Column. Its tagline, however, is misleading: “Orthodox Catholic commentary on current events.”

Just how orthodox that Fifth Column is, we have had occasion to demonstrate in the past:

This past Sunday, Apr.… READ MORE

On his way to the real Catholic priesthood…

Interview with Former Novus Ordo Priest Michael DeSaye

The Rev. Mr. Michael DeSaye is a sedevacantist seminarian who is well on his way to the Catholic priesthood. Just this past Saturday, he was ordained a deacon, the last step before becoming a priest.

Deacon DeSaye is not your typical sedevacantist, however. He is, in fact, a former Novus Ordo priest. His original (invalid) ordination in the Vatican II Church took place on June 2, 2018, for the diocese of Trenton, New Jersey.

In an extremely rare occurrence, which is no doubt a badge of honor for him, Rev.… READ MORE

The ‘Marxist’ is at it again…

Archlayman of Munich:
Nothing Wrong with Sodomy!

What passes for “Catholic theology” less than 60 years after the close of the Second Vatican Council is absolutely pathetic.

The dangerous Nouvelle Théologie (“New Theology”), rejected by Pope Pius XII in 1946 and also in 1950, has thoroughly dissolved genuine Catholic intellectual thought and led its proponents exactly to where the impeccably orthodox Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange predicted it would: straight back to Modernism.

A clear example of that can be found in “Cardinal” Reinhard Marx, who has been “Archbishop” of Munich since 2008, and who has been one of “Pope” Francis’ closest advisors for years.… READ MORE

With apologies to IKEA…

Eyesore in the Sanctuary: ‘Cardinal’ Schönborn consecrates ‘IKEA Altar’ in Dominican Church in Vienna

The apostate Vatican II Sect has lots of “false apostles [who] are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ” (2 Cor 11:13).

One of the worst of them all, however, is Christoph Schönborn, O.P., as will be shown later. The 77-year-old has been the “cardinal-archbishop” of Vienna, Austria, since 1995, and even though he is already two years past mandatory retirement age, “Pope” Francis has still not accepted his resignation.

This past Sunday, on Mar. 27, 2022, Schonborn presided over the consecration of a new altar in the Baroque-style Dominican Church of St.READ MORE

As wrong as it is to mistreat others, it’s not sacrilege…

Francis claims mistreating Human Beings is “Sacrilege”:
A Reality Check on the Sacred and the Profane

When it concerns man rather than God, he gets serious: The apostate pseudo-pope Jorge Bergoglio

You know something is off when Francis complains about sacrilege. He’s just not into religion enough to be concerned about the profanation of the sacred. In fact, if there is one thing he is really good at, besides uttering heresy and blasphemy, it’s committing sacrilege.

His placing of an offering to the “Mother Earth” goddess Pachamama on the high altar of St.READ MORE

Fatima Farce: Apostate Antipope consecrates Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Francis’ much-anticipated “Consecration of Russia” to the Immaculate Heart took place as scheduled today, Mar. 25, 2022, in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican as part of a penitential liturgy during which he himself ostentatiously went to confession. This blog post features the most important resources related to this event.

We call his stunt a “Fatima farce” not because we would in any way cast doubt on the authenticity of the apparitions, messages, warnings, or requests of Our Lady of Fatima, but because the man who performed the consecration is not the Pope, is not a Catholic, and is not a friend of Our Lady, the Mother of God.… READ MORE

“Apostolic Constitution” Praedicate Evangelium

on the Roman Curia
and its Service to the Church and the World

March 19, 2022

This past Saturday, Mar. 19, 2022, Francis finally promulgated his long-awaited document overhauling and restructuring the Roman Curia, which is traditionally “the ensemble of departments or ministries which assist the sovereign pontiff in the government of the Universal Church” (Catholic Encyclopedia).

The document is an “Apostolic Constitution” and bears the title Praedicate Evangelium (“Preach the Gospel”). It is the fruit of about nine years of work by Francis and his “Council of Cardinal Advisors” that was instituted in 2013 for this very purpose.… READ MORE

Bergoglio denies traditional ‘just war’ doctrine…

Francis says “Wars Are Always Unjust”,
contradicting traditional Catholic Moral Doctrine

It is not difficult to see that Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) is no serious theologian.

He himself in fact acknowledges as much, at least when it suits his agenda: “I leave that question to the theologians and those who understand”, he answered in 2015 when asked about permitting “inter-communion” with Lutherans. Bergoglio is also on record saying that “[s]tudying fundamental theology is one of the most boring things on earth”, and his hatred of Scholasticism — characteristic of all Modernists, according to Pope St.… READ MORE
