Naturalism for Football Fans

Francis has a Message for Super Bowl Sunday

Today is February 5, 2017, and in the United States this happens to be Super Bowl Sunday this year, the day on which the American football season closes with its annual championship game.

The ever-talkative “Pope” Francis (Mr. Jorge Bergoglio) used this opportunity to bring more of his Naturalist twaddle to a wider audience. In a spiritual equivalent of the smutty Super Bowl half-time show, Francis once again promoted sports as a great way to practice his “culture of encounter” that, so he thinks, will lead to world peace.

Overnight Surprise:
Anti-Francis Posters Appear in Rome

[UPDATE 04-FEB-17 20:14 UTC: More details and lots more photos can be found here]

As various blogs are reporting this morning, a slew of anti-Francis posters has suddenly appeared on public surfaces all over the city of Rome. They were put up during the night by people who are as of yet unknown. The posters look like this:

The posters show a grim-looking Francis with the following Italian text: “A France’, hai commissariato Congregazioni, rimosso sacerdoti, decapitato l’Ordine di Malta e i Francescani dell’Immacolata, ignorato Cardinali… ma n’do sta la tua misericordia?

Big New Francis Interview Published

Image credit: Osservatore Romano via El País

The Spanish newspaper El País has just released a new interview with “Pope” Francis, and it’s a long one to boot: In their English translation, the answers given by Francis exceed no fewer than 6,000 words. This is not surprising for the “Pope” who has practically talked non-stop since 2013, and who has given so many interviews that we have long stopped counting (we are probably in the 30-40ish range at this point).

The Q&A with Francis was conducted in Spanish and has been made available by El País in the following languages:

Here are what are perhaps the most salient quotes of the lengthy text:

  • “To change is unnatural.”
  • “Everything is calm, everything is quiet, when everything goes right.

Bp. Fellay, “Bp.” Schneider, and Chaos Frank:
A Commentary on Recent Developments

As far back as April 3, 2013, a mere 21 days after his election, we predicted that Francis would eventually be known as the “Chaos Pope”; from this we derived his moniker “Chaos Frank”. After almost four years of the blasphemous-heretical buffoon at the helm of the Vatican II Sect, most people would agree. In fact, even the Novus Ordo press is finally starting to wake up to the real Francis, the one about whom we’ve been reporting accurately and realistically since day one, when everyone else was still lauding him for his great “humility” and “Marian piety of the most traditional sort”.

Vatican Sources: Francis Not Responding to Dubia “to Prevent Greater Evil”!

The new year began the same way the old one ended: with lots of breaking news on Amoris Laetitia, the infamous “Apostolic exhortation” on the family that effectively gives public adulterers the permission to receive the Novus Ordo version of Holy Communion and penance (confession) without having to cease their adulterous activities. The “theological” basis Francis provides for this absurdity is a redefinition of sin from “voluntary transgession of the divine law” into “the best you can do for the moment, although falling short of the ideal”.

January 2017 “Pope Video”:
Ecumenism for a Better World

In the era of “Pope” Francis, each new month brings with it a new “Pope Video” announcing Mr. Bergoglio’s prayer intention of the month for the world. Francis started this custom with a bombshell a year ago, when his first “Pope Video” brazenly promoted Indifferentism, effectively blending Buddhism, Talmudic Judaism, Islam, and “Christianity” into an essentially single religion. In case you need a refresher, here is our post ripping it to shreds:

This month, Francis has released a video promoting Ecumenism to aid humanity in need:

Once more, Francis puts the focus on alleviating pain and suffering in this life.

Amoris Laetitia and Concrete Cases:
A Reply to Austen Ivereigh

One of Francis’ biggest cheerleaders on and off the internet is the British writer Dr. Austen Ivereigh. He is the author of a comprehensive biography of Jorge Bergoglio entitled, The Great Reformer: Francis and the Making of a Radical Pope (2014).

As a contributor to various Novus Ordo publications, the left-leaning Ivereigh occasionally writes pieces defending Francis’ more controversial moves. One such attempt was recently published at Crux:

In this piece, which is essentially a high-level critique of the dubia submitted by “Cardinal” Raymond Burke & Co.

Francis denounces “Decadent Scholasticism”

One of the many things that “went under”, so to speak, in the flurry of breaking news stories from the Vatican in recent weeks, is the question-and-answer session Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope” Francis) gave to his fellow-Jesuits after presenting a speech at their 36th General Congregation on October 24, 2016. The Rome-based Jesuit periodical La Civiltà Cattolica has published the full Q&A text online here.

No, don’t worry, we will not slog through the entire thing now. Those who have not yet had enough of Francis’ blather can read the whole piece for themselves.

HERESY: Vatican “Archbishop” Gänswein says “No Proof” for God’s Existence

Christmas week should be fairly quiet in the Vatican, as most employees are on vacation and so Francis is more or less forced to keep silent. However, if the past is any indication, this could be the time when various newspapers and periodicals will publish previously-conducted interviews with the “Pope” or other clerics in and outside the Vatican.

Such as… “Archbishop” Georg Ganswein, for example, who currently holds two important Vatican positions: He is Francis’ prefect of the anti-papal household, and he is at the same time the private secretary of Antipope Emeritus Benedict XVI.

Francis: “I may go down in history as the one who split the Catholic Church”!

Just a few hours ago, the online edition of the secularist German periodical Der Spiegel published an interesting article on Francis’ explosive Christmas greetings to his curia yesterday and the general atmosphere in the Vatican. The article, penned by Walter Mayr, is entitled, “Der Papst kocht”, which translates as, “The Pope is fuming”, a reference to Edward Pentin’s recent revelation that Francis was “boiling with rage” at the public release of the dubia submitted by “Cardinals” Burke, Brandmüller, Caffarra, and Meisner in November.

Eat This!

In Christmas Address to Curia, Francis slams “Malicious Resistance” that accuses others and hides behind Traditions!

Well, folks, it looks like the dubia supporters have gotten their answer. Today, Dec. 22, 2016, Francis gave his annual Christmas address to the Roman Curia, which in the past had been loaded with fireworks. So too this time around.

The main focus of this year’s address was the ongoing reform of the Roman Curia, which he likened to a “surgical operation”. He listed twelve principles that guide his reworking of the Vatican apparatus: individualism; pastoral concern; missionary spirit; clear organization; improved functioning; modernization; sobriety; subsidiarity; synodality; catholicity; professionalism; and gradualism.

“Cardinal” Burke: Francis Not in Heresy, but Heretical Pope would Lose Office automatically

burke2
The Amoris Laetitia controversy is far from over. If anything, it’s entering now into its hottest phase yet.

American “Cardinal” Raymond Burke has recently given some interviews on the dubia and their non-response by “Pope” Francis and explained what is to happen next if the dubia remain unanswered. Previously Burke had already threatened a “formal act of correction” against Francis, but without giving details or a timeline. Now Burke has upped the ante.

On December 15, 2016, EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo interviewed the Novus Ordo cardinal on his nightly news program, The World Over.

In the very early fourth century, Saint Januarius, bishop of Beneventum in Italy, died a martyr during the bloody persecution of Emperor Diocletian. A relic of his dried blood has been preserved to this day and is kept in the cathedral of the diocese of Napoli (Naples), whose patron saint he is. On three separate occasions each year, the blood liquefies on its own in what appears to be a miracle: on the Saturday before the first Sunday in May; on September 19, which is the feast of St.
