The news coming out of today’s meeting is not surprising: “Participants in the synodal way’s final assembly overwhelmingly endorsed a document Friday urging German bishops to permit same-sex blessings officially in their dioceses”, The Pillar reports. Just imagine!

The Mar. 3, 2022, issue of Bunte magazine, a German weekly that focuses on celebrity gossip, contains an interview with Dr. Georg Bätzing (pp. 44-46), the “Roman Catholic bishop” of Limburg, Germany.

Batzing is the immediate successor to “Bp.” Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst, the theologically conservative “bishop of bling”, who now works right under Francis’ nose in Vatican City for the so-called Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization.

Mr. Joseph Bonnemain is one of the latest additions to the Bergoglian bunch of Novus Ordo bishops. A member of Opus Dei, the 73-year-old was made a “bishop” only earlier this year and now heads the diocese of Chur in eastern Switzerland. This diocese was formerly led by “Bp.” Vitus Huonder, who is now with the Lefebvrists.
