Louie Verrecchio: “Francis is an Antipope”

First in a series of falling dominoes?

Louie Verrecchio has had enough:
“Francis is an Antipope”

Deo gratias! Another Semi-Traditionalist has finally had enough and publicly confessed the truth that is plain for all to see who are courageous enough to look: Francis is not the Pope of the Catholic Church. Mr. Louie Verrecchio, formerly a star pundit of the conservative wing of the Novus Ordo Sect who came to embrace a recognize-but-resist type of traditionalism, has just made the following declaration on his blog, AKA Catholic: “Francis has judged himself a formal heretic. He is, therefore, an antipope” (source).… READ MORE

Vatican Theologians reportedly studying what to do about a Heretical Pope

Hey, at least they’re trying…

Vatican Theologians reportedly studying what to do about a Heretical Pope

The fireworks just keep on coming. As the reliable Vaticanist Giuseppe Nardi reports today, a 1975 theological study by the learned Brazilian layman Arnaldo Vidigal Xavier da Silveira is currently making the rounds in the Vatican, and it’s not just any study: It’s a study on whether it is possible for a Pope to be or become a heretic, and if so, what consequences would follow from this.

What might possibly have given occasion for Vatican theologians to occupy themselves with such abstruse thoughts? Have they all gone into studying abstract hypotheses for the sake of sharpening their intellects?… READ MORE

“Cardinal” Burke threatens Francis with “Formal Act of Correction”

Last Step before Schism?

“Cardinal” Burke threatens Francis with “Formal Act of Correction” if he won’t retract the Errors in Amoris Laetitia

When on Monday, Nov. 14, the Italian journalist Sandro Magister published the five dubia submitted to Francis by “Cardinals” Caffarra, Burke, Brandmuller, and Meisner in September, requesting a “clarification” on various controverted points found in the Bergoglian exhortation Amoris Laetitia, it was certain that “clarification” was just a smoother-sounding code word for “retraction”. There is, after all, nothing left to clarify: The exhortation is a most dangerous document subversive of the very foundations of Catholic morality that brazenly attacks the indissolubility of the marriage bond; and Francis has already confirmed, sometimes more, sometimes less openly, that any ambiguous passages are to be understood in their heretical sense.… READ MORE

‘Tradition in Action’ uses Masonic Source to implicate Pope Pius IX in Freemasonry

Semi-Trads hit new low…

Outrageous! Tradition in Action uses Masonic Source to implicate Pope Pius IX in Freemasonry

The web site Tradition in Action (TIA) is, for the most part, a pretty good resource exposing and refuting the errors of the Vatican II Sect. However, the editors of TIA are dyed-in-the-wool semi-traditionalists, that is, they oppose Sedevacantism and stubbornly adhere to the recognize-and-resist position instead, meaning they recognize Francis as Pope but also resist him because they realize he is an apostate who is trying to destroy Catholicism.

Thus, whenever TIA’s editors tackle anything related to the issue of Sedevacantism, all Catholicism goes out the window — and they end up spouting grave errors and scandalize their readers.… READ MORE

Sedevacantism: Bp. Sanborn responds to Bp. Williamson

Real Catholic Theology vs. Resistance Wonderland

Sedevacantism:

Bishop Sanborn Responds to Bishop Williamson

Bishop Richard Williamson, formerly with the Society of St. Pius X but expelled in 2012 for being as obedient to Bp. Fellay as Fellay was obedient to John Paul II, still stubbornly clings to the Lefebvrist “recognize-and-resist” position and so continues to reject Sedevacantism. A convert from Anglicanism in 1971, Bp. Williamson has demonstrated again and again that although he always has plenty to say, he has no real grasp of genuine Catholic theology.

Recently, Bp. Williamson published a two-part series against Sedevacantism in his weekly Eleison Comments.… READ MORE

Sylvester Berry’s explanation of Chapter 12 of the Apocalypse and how it is a prophecy of Satan’s persecution of the Papacy; in this current post we will look at what the same Fr.… READ MORE

Requiem for “True or False Pope”: Fr. Cekada buries Salza/Siscoe’s latest on Sedevacantism

New video released…

Requiem for True or False Pope: Fr. Cekada buries John Salza and Robert Siscoe’s Latest

In this brand-new video, Fr. Anthony Cekada responds to the latest attempts by John Salza and Robert Siscoe to debunk Sedevacantism. In an informative and entertaining 24-minute clip, Fr. Cekada demonstrates, among other things, that Salza and Siscoe’s much-touted “universal peaceful acceptance” argument not only does not disprove Sedevacantism but supports it and actually proves the recognize-and-resist apologists’ own position false!

In his monumental dogmatic manual on ecclesiology, De Ecclesia Christi, Cardinal Louis Billot (1846-1931) explained that the peaceful acceptance of the entire Church of a particular papal claimant is an infallible sign that the individual in question really is a legitimate Pope.… READ MORE

Father E. Sylvester Berry on the Persecution of the Church in the Last Days (Part 1): Satan will Attack the Papacy

berry-apocalypse-john

This may not be new to frequent visitors of our web site, but it bears repeating, especially now: The terrible afflictions Holy Mother Church has had to endure since the death of Pope Pius XII were predicted and prophesied, in one way or another. We have had numerous posts on this topic in the past, and today we would like to call to mind one of them: The prediction made by Fr. Elwood Sylvester Berry (1879-1954), professor of apologetics at Mt.… READ MORE

“We Accuse Pope Francis”: Semi-Trads issue Book of Accusation

When petitions just don’t cut it…

“We accuse Pope Francis”: Semi-Traditionalist Trio publishes Book of Accusation against Jorge Bergoglio

Michael Matt, Christopher Ferrara, and John Vennari have had enough. After three-and-a-half-years of open apostasy by Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”), the semi-traditionalist newspaper trio have decided to upgrade their resistance from merely providing critical commentary and launching petitions, to issuing a Liber Accusationis (“Book of Accusation”) against the man they believe is the Vicar of Jesus Christ on earth. The charge in a nutshell: He just ain’t a Catholic. (This is something we actually pointed out from the very beginning, while Matt and Ferrara were still trying to spin Francis into a Catholic, but okay.)… READ MORE

The “Canonization” of the Apostate Mother Teresa

“Saint” Teresa of Calcutta…

The “Canonization” of the Apostate Mother Teresa — Another Impossibility for a True Pope

mother-teresa-buddha

Mother Teresa worshipping Buddha — SOURCE/DETAILS HERE

Today (Sep. 4, 2016) was the big day: “Pope” Francis declared the Albanian nun Anjeze Gonxhe Bojaxhiu (1910-97), commonly known as Mother Teresa of Calcutta, a “saint”. Not that we needed any more proof, but this is yet another definitive piece of evidence that Jorge Bergoglio’s claim to being the Pope of the Catholic Church is false. He is not in fact a valid Pope, and this proves it because canonizations of saints are infallible acts, and it is not possible that Mother Teresa, who was a public apostate, could be a saint in the Catholic Church. … READ MORE

Fellay Tales: Bp. Fellay’s Latest on SSPX-Rome Relations

Aug. 24 Update on SSPX-Rome Relations

Fellay Tales: “Pope Francis does not think that Canonizations are infallible” & other curious Anecdotes

On August 24, 2016, the Superior General of the Society of St. Pius X, Bp. Bernard Fellay, offered more of his usual “Fellay Tales” to his adherents, that intriguing mix of the mysterious, the incredible, and the laughable with regard to the SSPX and its relations with the Vatican, which have as their (no doubt intended) effect the continual pacification and confirmation of Lefebvrists in their current position as adherents to Bp. Fellay and the theological “recognize-but-resist” schizophrenia that characterises the Society.… READ MORE

Benedict XVI: ‘I resigned because of the Jet Lag!’

Bizarre claims in new Interview

Benedict XVI on why he resigned:

‘I couldn’t take the Jet Lag I would get from traveling to World Youth Day!’

The bizarre spectacle that is the aftermath of Benedict XVI’s resignation first announced on Feb. 11, 2013, continues unabated. After recent absurd claims that Benedict XVI had not “fully” resigned from the papacy but was still a “contemplative member” of a “two-tier” Petrine office, today we are getting word that the main reason Benedict decided to throw in the towel was the stressful travel to World Youth Day in Rio. Riiight.

In an exclusive interview conducted by Elio Guerriero and published Wednesday, Aug.… READ MORE

Can Catholic Doctrine Change?

Clarity on a much-misunderstood subject

Can Catholic Doctrine Change?

There is much confusion and misunderstanding, especially these days, about whether Catholic teaching can ever change, whether it has changed in the past, and if so, what this means for an infallible Church.

In a very readable and succinct article entitled “Does Catholic Doctrine Change?”, published in 1947, Fr. Francis J. Connell of the Catholic University of America tackles the issue head-on and, drawing the necessary qualifications and distinctions, shows what part of Catholic teaching can change, what cannot change, and how this relates to the Church’s infallibility and her divine mission to obtain the salvation of souls.… READ MORE
