Seriously: Francis claims to have a ‘Strong Devotion’ to Saint Pius X
No, it’s not a joke. It’s not fake news. And of course today is not April Fool’s Day either.
This story is not even new, but it is useful to bring it up again, since many will have either forgotten about it or never heard of it in the first place. It shows how brazen of a liar Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) is.
On Aug. 22, 2015, Vatican Radio reported:
Pope Francis surprised the faithful in St. Peter’s Basilica on Friday [Aug.
The Essence of Christianity according to Bergoglio
On Tuesday, July 19, 2022, the Jesuit apostate running Vatican City (Jorge Bergoglio, aka “Pope Francis”) tried to impress the world by publishing a tweet concerning the “essence” of Christianity.
Fr. Bernard Wullener’s Dictionary of Scholastic Philosophy defines the concept of essence as follows: “what a thing is; the internal principles whereby a thing is what it is and has its specific perfections; quiddity; internal constitution of a thing” (p.… READ MORE

As always, it is loaded with real traditional Catholicism, insightful commentary, hard-hitting refutations of various errors, and razor-sharp analysis. Our content is typically challenging but is always delivered in an accessible way with a relieving touch of humor, so necessary in our chaotic and bizarre times.
TRADCAST 032 discusses sundry different topics:
In view of the increasing popularity of the idea that Benedict XVI is “still” the Pope (and Francis’ election was invalid), the first segment begins with a look at the Modernism of Joseph Ratzinger, illustrated by his strange ideas on original sin, which are not compatible with the perennial Catholic doctrine on the matter.… READ MORE
Segment 1: Is Benedict XVI the “real” Pope? The Modernism of Joseph Ratzinger / No essential difference between Francis’ and Benedict’s theology / Francis’ lack of concern for the supernatural life in souls illustrated: his belief that “good” atheists are saved; his reassurance of a homosexual atheist / Francis’ one-sidedness illustrated: Is receiving forgiveness only a matter of asking for it? His condemnation of the destruction of the environment while facilitating the destruction of Faith in souls / Indifferentism and the False Gospel of Humanitarianism / miscellaneous: thank-you to donors and volunteers; two podcast interviews with Novus Ordo Watch; delayed correspondence

Address of His Holiness Pope Pius XII to Cardinals, Archbishops, and Bishops on the Catholic Church and her Powers of Sanctifying and Ruling, Nov. 2, 1954
“Magnify the Lord with me; together let us extoll His name” (Ps. 33,4), for by a new favor from Heaven has Our desire been fulfilled, and at the same time We rejoice at the sight of you, beloved sons and venerable brothers, gathered before Us in such large numbers. And the consideration of the new liturgical feast of Mary, Mother of God and Queen of Heaven and Earth, which We just recently solemnly proclaimed, swells Our holy joy; for it is only fitting for her children to rejoice when they see an increase of honor accorded their mother.… READ MORE
Apostate adrift: Francis says Fraternity is “Anchor of Salvation for Humanity”
To mark the second anniversary of the incredibly important International Day of Human Fraternity proclaimed by the United Nations, the Argentinian apostate Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) released a video message on Feb. 4, 2022.
Before we critique the contents of this latest Bergoglian drivel, let’s first look at the larger context in which it appeared: the interreligious “human fraternity” project started by Francis and Grand Imam Ahmed Al-Tayeb.
In Memoriam:
Centenary of the Death of Pope Benedict XV (1914-1922)
It was at 6:00 am local time, exactly 100 years ago today, that His Holiness Pope Benedict XV breathed his last. January 22, 1922, was a Sunday.
After almost seven-and-a-half years, Benedict’s pontificate was over. The Pope’s death was not sudden but had announced itself, as it were, a few days in advance. Tragically, there had been some premature reports of the Pope’s passing, but on Jan. 22, the official confirmation came from the Vatican.
The following are clips of some newspaper title pages of Jan.… READ MORE
Dreary Christmas: Semi-Trads excoriate Francis over new Latin Mass Restrictions
Move over, Grinch, Scrooge, and other sourpusses: No one wrecks Christmas like the Frankster!
This past Saturday, Dec. 18, His Phoniness “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) issued an utterly merciless decree against those in his Modernist church who attempt to practice traditional Catholicism while nevertheless recognizing him as Pope. As they are dependent on ready access to the Traditional Latin Mass “in full communion” with the Modernist hierarchy as the center of their sacramental lives, Francis knows exactly the spot at which to strike to ensure they will hurt the most.… READ MORE

Was Pope Saint Pius X Murdered?
– A Fanciful Tale from 1919
“Was Pope Pius X Murdered?” That was the intriguing headline on page 6 of the editorial section of the Nov. 2, 1919 edition of The New York Times. The author of the piece was one Walter Litchfield.
The article weaves a fanciful tale based chiefly on two things: (a) claims made in the book Le Baptême de Sang (“The Baptism of Blood”) by a French author identified only as Abbé Daniel (“Fr. Daniel”); and (b) an unnamed Italian priest commenting on those claims and adding some of his own.… READ MORE
Pope St. Pius X slams Recognize-and-Resist, says Ultimate Criterion of Orthodoxy is Obedience to Living Magisterium
There is Catholic Tradition and then there is “Catholic Tradition”.
The former is what one actually finds in the traditional (i.e. pre-Vatican II) Catholic theology books and the pronouncements of the papal magisterium, whereas the latter is a popularly-accepted caricature thereof that consists of an assortment of quasi-theological ideas cobbled together from select quotations and slogans that were once popularized by recognize-and-resist apologists like Michael Davies (1936-2004) and have been perpetuated ever since by the Lefebvrists and their theological cousins.
From Pope Pius X in Audience on May 10, 1909, to Youths attached to Catholic Universities, assembled after the second Convention in Rome
It is with genuine joy that I welcome the sentiments and expressions of devotion and reverence toward this Apostolic See which you have declared to me in your name and that of your companions. And these [sentiments] are all the more dear to me because they are expressed by young people who, dedicated to studying in order to attain the goal of true knowledge, declare themselves to be followers of Catholic doctrine and recognize the necessity of uniting in a holy union these two daughters of the same Father, reason and faith, by which we all live: these two suns, which shine in the sky of our souls; these two forces, which constitute the beginning and the end of our grandeur; these two wings which rise up to the knowledge of all truth: in a single word, reason, which is the eye of man who sees, aided by the eye of God, which is faith.… READ MORE
Pope St. Pius X condemns Bergoglio’s Gospel of Man
Not interested in Bergoglio’s false gospel: His Holiness, Pope St. Pius X
Roughly five months before releasing his monumental encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis against Modernism, Pope Saint Pius X gave an address to newly-created cardinals gathered in consistory, in which he sounded the alarm against Modernistic attempts to subvert Catholicism by feigning a return to the “pure” gospel of a dogmaless humanitarianism.
This papal allocution, which has never before been seen in English, is relevant in our day because it condemns more or less directly some of the very errors being promoted by the false pope Jorge Bergoglio, commonly known as “Pope Francis”.… READ MORE
Allocution which Pope Pius X delivered to newly-created Cardinals on Apr. 17, 1907, against Religious Neo-Reformism
We welcome with the most vivid delight the expressions of devotion and filial love for us and for this Apostolic See, which you have shown to us in your name and in the name of your most beloved brothers for the honor of the purple to which you were called [footnote: Card. Aristide Cavallari, Patriarch of Venice]. In accepting your gratitude, nevertheless, we have also to say that the same preeminent virtues by which you are adorned, the works of zeal which you have performed, and the other distinguished services which in different fields you have rendered to the Church, have made you worthy to be included in the register of Our Sacred Senate. … READ MORE
Who knows what he means by this. Meanwhile: "If anyone shall say that justifying faith is nothing else than confidence in the divine mercy which remits sins for Christ's sake, or that it is this confidence alone by which we are justified: let him be anathema" (Denz. 822).
@justanother556 @MDLatinMass What do you mean by 'declaring' though? If you mean a legal declaration, no such thing is possible by the laity, nor is it necessary, nor does any layman presume to issue it: https://t.co/vXxQBgleQg https://t.co/tIy7DGTUP9
@MDLatinMass A future declaration is nice and important, but Catholics need to know now whether Francis is the Pope or not. That's because Catholics must submit to and follow the Pope, not merely verbally acknowledge he is Pope and then do their own thing. https://t.co/oJz9TjW7gZ
