Vatican Sources: Francis Not Responding to Dubia “to Prevent Greater Evil”!

The new year began the same way the old one ended: with lots of breaking news on Amoris Laetitia, the infamous “Apostolic exhortation” on the family that effectively gives public adulterers the permission to receive the Novus Ordo version of Holy Communion and penance (confession) without having to cease their adulterous activities. The “theological” basis Francis provides for this absurdity is a redefinition of sin from “voluntary transgession of the divine law” into “the best you can do for the moment, although falling short of the ideal”.

Amoris Laetitia and Concrete Cases:
A Reply to Austen Ivereigh

One of Francis’ biggest cheerleaders on and off the internet is the British writer Dr. Austen Ivereigh. He is the author of a comprehensive biography of Jorge Bergoglio entitled, The Great Reformer: Francis and the Making of a Radical Pope (2014).

As a contributor to various Novus Ordo publications, the left-leaning Ivereigh occasionally writes pieces defending Francis’ more controversial moves. One such attempt was recently published at Crux:

In this piece, which is essentially a high-level critique of the dubia submitted by “Cardinal” Raymond Burke & Co.

Francis denounces “Decadent Scholasticism”

One of the many things that “went under”, so to speak, in the flurry of breaking news stories from the Vatican in recent weeks, is the question-and-answer session Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope” Francis) gave to his fellow-Jesuits after presenting a speech at their 36th General Congregation on October 24, 2016. The Rome-based Jesuit periodical La Civiltà Cattolica has published the full Q&A text online here.

No, don’t worry, we will not slog through the entire thing now. Those who have not yet had enough of Francis’ blather can read the whole piece for themselves.

Brandmuller: “It’s all or nothing”…

Francis: “I may go down in history as the one who split the Catholic Church”!

Just a few hours ago, the online edition of the secularist German periodical Der Spiegel published an interesting article on Francis’ explosive Christmas greetings to his curia yesterday and the general atmosphere in the Vatican. The article, penned by Walter Mayr, is entitled, “Der Papst kocht”, which translates as, “The Pope is fuming”, a reference to Edward Pentin’s recent revelation that Francis was “boiling with rage” at the public release of the dubia submitted by “Cardinals” Burke, Brandmüller, Caffarra, and Meisner in November.

Merry Christmas!

Eat This!

In Christmas Address to Curia, Francis slams “Malicious Resistance” that accuses others and hides behind Traditions!

Well, folks, it looks like the dubia supporters have gotten their answer. Today, Dec. 22, 2016, Francis gave his annual Christmas address to the Roman Curia, which in the past had been loaded with fireworks. So too this time around.

The main focus of this year’s address was the ongoing reform of the Roman Curia, which he likened to a “surgical operation”. He listed twelve principles that guide his reworking of the Vatican apparatus: individualism; pastoral concern; missionary spirit; clear organization; improved functioning; modernization; sobriety; subsidiarity; synodality; catholicity; professionalism; and gradualism.

“Cardinal” Burke: Francis Not in Heresy, but Heretical Pope would Lose Office automatically

burke2
The Amoris Laetitia controversy is far from over. If anything, it’s entering now into its hottest phase yet.

American “Cardinal” Raymond Burke has recently given some interviews on the dubia and their non-response by “Pope” Francis and explained what is to happen next if the dubia remain unanswered. Previously Burke had already threatened a “formal act of correction” against Francis, but without giving details or a timeline. Now Burke has upped the ante.

On December 15, 2016, EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo interviewed the Novus Ordo cardinal on his nightly news program, The World Over.

These days a good portion of the Novus Ordo world is up in arms about “Pope” Francis’ attempts to permit unrepentant public adulterers to receive the [Novus Ordo] sacraments, and rightly so. A veritable schism seems to be forming at this time, as countless clergy and laymen are rallying behind the four no-compromise “cardinals” who have made it clear that they will not stand for this attempt to dispense from the Sixth Commandment.

The prelude to a formal schism within the Novus Ordo Sect has just reached a new stage: On Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, the Rome-based Lepanto Foundation held a conference in the Eternal City on Christian marriage and the errors of “Pope” Francis’ exhortation Amoris Laetitia. The well-attended conference was hosted by the Foundation‘s president, Roberto de Mattei, and took place only about 3 miles from the Vatican.

One of its guests was Athanasius Schneider, auxiliary “bishop” of Maria Santissima in Astana, Kazakhstan, who was interviewed about the fallout from the dubia submitted to “Pope” Francis to receive clarification on certain points contained in the “Apostolic” exhortation Amoris Laetitia. The entire program can be watched in the original French here.

Dean Pinto of Roman Rota says he did Not issue Threat to Four “Cardinals”

Pio Vito Pinto

An interesting development has occurred, and it’s one that will probably make you chuckle.

On Nov. 29, the Spanish web site Religion Confidencial published a report according to which the dean of the Novus Ordo Sect’s Roman Rota — the Vatican’s highest appeals court — had issued a threat against the four “dubia cardinals” Burke, Brandmuller, Meisner, and Caffarra, basically for challenging Francis in public to either fish or cut bait, as it were, regarding “Holy Communion” for adulterers and other more basic moral issues in the “papal” exhortation Amoris Laetitia.

CDF Head “Cardinal” Müller on the Dubia: “Cannot get involved in the Dispute”

muller-francis_med-2

In an interview published on Dec. 1, 2016, by the German Dom Radio, the head of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Destruction of the Faith, “Cardinal” Gerhard Ludwig Muller, has weighed in on the ongoing controversy over Amoris Laetitia, specifically the five “doubts” (dubia) submitted by “Cardinals” Burke, Caffarra, Brandmuller, and Meisner.

Due to time constraints we are not able to translate the entire interview, but we will give you the most important parts:

[Müller:]

This letter [of the dubia submitted by the four “cardinals”] was addressed to the Pope himself and contained questions regarding the correct interpretation of Amoris Laetitia.

[UPDATE: “Mgr.” Pinto says he was misquoted, Religion Confidencial issues retraction]

We all know that Francis is the champion of dialogue and encounter, but when “Cardinals” Burke, Brandmuller, Meisner, and Caffarra recently did nothing more than ask five very specific questions on a very important theological matter they wanted clarification on, the ever-so-humble Argentinian bridge builder decided to put up a wall: In a defeaning silence, he simply refused to answer.

After nearly two months of receiving no reply, the Novus Ordo cardinals decided to make their questions public.

“Boiling with Rage”: Francis Reacts to Formal Request for Clarification on Amoris Laetitia

francis-warns2

The neverending drama about Amoris Laetitia continues.

The formal request submitted by “Cardinals” Caffarra, Meisner, Burke, and Brandmuller for clarification of five specific points in the infernal exhortation Amoris Laetitia (the so-called dubia, or “doubts”), was released to the public this past Monday, since for almost two months the “Sovereign Pontiff” had refused to give them the courtesy of a response. “Cardinal” Burke added more fuel to the fire by saying in a follow-up interview that the next step would be to confront Francis with a “formal act of correction” should he persist in his errors.
