Joseph Strickland, the only active diocesan Nous Ordo bishop openly critical of ‘Pope’ Francis, has been removed from his post against his will.

On Nov. 9, the Jesuit apostate occupying the Vatican guest house had asked Strickland to resign his post but he refused to do so, as he had announced previously he would. This led the Unholy Father to take the unusual and rare step of declaring him removed a mere two days later.

On Oct. 27, 2023, at 6:00 pm local time, an interreligious ‘prayer for peace’ event was held in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in San Luis, Argentina. The event was hosted by the local ordinary, ‘Bishop’ Gabriel Bernardo Barba (b. 1964), who also took part and in fact gave a final blessing of sorts. But more on that in a moment.

On Instagram, the diocese published a photo of the event the very same day (see title image above) and explained who the participants were (please pardon the sometimes obscurely-worded religious affiliations of the individual attendees; the wording is based on an automatic computer translation):

Pope Pius IX was the second-longest-reigning Pope in the history of the Catholic Church.

Born Giovanni Maria Mastai-Ferretti in 1792, he reigned as Pope Pius IX for nearly 32 years, from June 16, 1846 until his death on Feb. 7, 1878. The only Pope who reigned longer than he was St. Peter.

One of the highlights of Pius IX’s long pontificate was the Syllabus of Errors, released on Dec. 8, 1864, along with the encyclical letter Quanta Cura, in which he declared:
