NOT YOU! Vatican Bans Traditional Latin Mass Pilgrims From Entering Saint Peter’s Basilica

The Church of Magnificent Humanity, Infinite Dignity, and Perpetual Inclusion has decided that participants in the annual semi-traditionalist Ad Petri Sedem Pilgrimage will not be allowed to enter the Vatican Basilica of St. Peter this year, which is the world’s most iconic Catholic church.

As the well-informed Vaticanist Diane Montagna reports on her blog today:

This past Sunday, on Oct. 11, 2026, Robert Prevost (stage name: ‘Pope Leo XIV’) gave his customary brief reflection on the Gospel text of the day during his Angelus address.

This time, the scriptural pericope was Matthew 22:1-14, the parable of the marriage feast (not to be confused with a similar but different parable, that of the great supper, which is found in Luke 14:16-24).
