No Saint Athanasius: “Bishop” Schneider continues to spread Errors about the Papacy

The German branch of the Vatican II Sect has recently opened its so-called “Synodal Way” or “Synodal Path” (Synodaler Weg), which is essentially an elaborate and structured series of chat sessions in which the laity get to tell their pastors what changes they want to see in the “Catholic Church” going forward. And since we’re not talking about just any country but about the Land of Luther, long one of the hotbeds of Modernism, this will produce a veritable catalog of ultra-liberal desiderata: married clergy, women priests, homo “marriage” ceremonies in church, and the like.… READ MORE

Vatican celebrates 60 Years of Ecumenism:
How it Contradicts Catholic Doctrine

Jorge Bergoglio with other non-Catholics in 2014

On Jan. 6, 1928, Pope Pius XI released Mortalium Animos, a magnificent encyclical against the false attempts at religious unity, today collectively known as “ecumenism”, that were beginning to blossom at the time.

Although the ecumenism that the Vatican II religion today worships as a new Golden Calf is not entirely identical to the ecumenism Pius XI condemned almost 100 years ago, it is nevertheless the very same error in essence, for it arose from it and still seeks a union between Catholics and non-Catholics that does not consist of what the same Pope identified as the only possible union: “…[T]he union of Christians can only be promoted by promoting the return to the one true Church of Christ of those who are separated from it, for in the past they have unhappily left it” (Mortalium Animos, n.… READ MORE

Novus Ordo Jesuit: “When I repeat the Words of Consecration, I sometimes wonder what Christ meant”

Children say the darndest things. So do Jesuits.

Take the Rev. Dominique Degoul, for example. He’s a Jesuit presbyter for the Vatican II Sect, works as a university chaplain in Paris, and has been assigned the future director of the Teilhard de Chardin Centre. How’s that for advance warning?

Degoul recently gave an interview to the French Novus Ordo publication La Croix “about what the Mass means in the life of a believer”, specifically in the context of the recent Coronavirus restrictions.… READ MORE

Semi-Trads Alarmed: Francis surveys Diocesan Bishops on Summorum Pontificum Latin Mass Culture

The well-connected and journalistically-reliable Rorate Caeli blog reports today that the Unholy See, under the direction of the apostate Jesuit Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”), has sent a survey to all his Roman rite “bishops” in the world to report on the application of Benedict XVI’s 2007 motu proprio letter Summorum Pontificum, which essentially granted all priests of the Vatican II Church the right to celebrate Mass according to the Roman Missal of 1962, commonly (though not entirely correctly) known as the “Traditional Latin Mass.”

Rorate Caeli has posted a copy of the actual survey and its cover letter, dated Mar.… READ MORE

Can we reject Magisterial Teaching if it wasn’t believed Always, Everywhere, and by All?

The True Meaning of the Canon of St. Vincent of Lérins

“Cafeteria Catholicism” is a fitting label often used to describe the position taken by overt Modernists and other pseudo-Catholic liberals (especially politicians) who like to pick and choose which Church teachings to accept and which ones to reject. Usually what is accepted is those things perceived as politically correct, expedient, or simply non-offensive (for example, the existence of God, the importance and power of prayer, belief in an afterlife, or the importance of loving our neighbor); whereas what is rejected is usually those teachings that are politically incorrect, offensive to modern man, or somehow inconvenient or burdensome (for example, the necessity of the Catholic Church for salvation, the prohibition against worship with non-Catholics, the reality of an eternal hell for unrepentant sinners, or most sins against the Sixth and Ninth Commandments).… READ MORE

Novus Ordo parish in Virginia to host Anglican Ordination of Woman “Bishop”

Early carnival in Virginia: Mrs. Haynes will be playing bishop come Feb. 1

The new religion that emerged at the Second Vatican Council is once again on full display, this time at St. Bede “Catholic” Church in Williamsburg, Virginia.

On Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, the Novus Ordo church building will be used to host an “episcopal ordination” of Mrs. Susan Bunton Haynes, a pseudo-cleric of the Anglican sect founded by King Henry VIII in the 16th century after he tried in vain to get Pope Clement VII to issue him a declaration of nullity for his clearly valid marriage.… READ MORE

Gaia’s Revenge? Francis blames Coronavirus on Man’s Damage to the Environment

During the Coronavirus pandemic, most people are working from home. That includes Jorge Bergoglio, the Argentinian apostate, whom — despite his best efforts to the contrary — most people in the world still believe to be the Pope of the Catholic Church.

With a lot of extra time on his hands now, Francis is happy to give interviews, for apparently there is nothing the Modernist Jesuit loves more than being asked for his opinion, especially on matters that have nothing to do with Catholicism, the religion he supposedly holds and represents.… READ MORE

When the Pastor couldn’t make it:
Francis reveals he once led a Lutheran Service

On Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) received the Rev. Michael Jonas in a private audience. Although his nationality is German, Jonas is the pastor of the Evangelical-Lutheran community in Rome, a post he’s held since 2018. Most of the roughly 500 members there are or speak German, the language of Martin Luther.

The main reason for the meeting between the two non-Catholics was to discuss the difficulties encountered by the churches in a secularized Europe, according to the Novus Ordo site domradio.deREAD MORE

Francis’ Encyclical Fratelli Tutti: The Highlights

NOTE: For the full text and reactions to the document, as well as analyses and commentary, please access our special coverage page at the following link:

If one had to summarize Francis’ lengthy encyclical Fratelli Tutti in one single sentence, perhaps it would be: Humanity, save thyself! In 287 paragraphs, God is at best an afterthought, and man’s supernatural destiny is all but ignored. That for which we were actually created (the Beatific Vision) and the way to attain it (by means of sanctifying grace through Faith, hope, and charity, in union with the Ark of Salvation, the Roman Catholic Church), are not even hinted at.… READ MORE

Roberto de Mattei: Francis Opens Door to Married Priests in upcoming Exhortation on Amazon Synod

Peek-a-boo! Open or closed?!

The Novus Ordo Church historian Prof. Roberto de Mattei has published an article on his web site asserting that several “bishops” have leaked to him a pre-released portion of Francis’ upcoming post-synodal “Apostolic exhortation” that speaks of lifting the requirement of clerical celibacy.

But first, some background.

On Jan. 13, 2020, “Cardinal” Claudio Hummes, the general relator of the notorious Amazon Synod held in the Vatican in October of last year, sent a confidential letter to the world’s Novus Ordo bishops announcing that Francis’ exhortation would be published “by the end of this month or in early February.”… READ MORE

On Disobeying the Pope:
Comments on a recent One Peter Five Article

“Can a Catholic Ever Disobey a Pope?” That is the question currently being asked at One Peter Five. An article by that title was posted on July 17, 2020, written by Paul Casey.

The author begins by claiming:

“No one is ever allowed to disobey the pope. Period.”

The statement is made repeatedly on social media, usually in an attempt to end a debate. It’s taken as a given. No sources cited, no documentation provided. It’s merely assumed. It is, after all, obvious.

Assessing Taylor Marshall’s Infiltration:
Bold Exposé or Controlled Opposition?

Resisting Francis to his face? On May 15, 2019, Dr. Taylor Marshall met “Pope” Francis in Rome at a general audience, at which time he gave him the first (signed) copy of Infiltration, days before its official release. Later, when discussing the meeting in a video, Marshall said, “People on social media have attacked me on both sides as being too nice to the Pope, or too mean to the Pope…” This is precisely the confusion one expects from the recognize-and-resist position he espouses — opposition to the “Holy Father”, but a cordial and ultimately insipid opposition.READ MORE

Continuing with our critical assessment of the former Vatican nuncio “Abp.” Carlo Maria Viganò’s recent theological reflections, we now turn to his letter of Sep. 3, 2020, published by Catholic Family News the same day:

In that particular missive, Fr. Viganò complains of being charged with schism by his Novus Ordo opponents, but as we showed in Part 1 of our ongoing assessment, that point of criticism is justified.… READ MORE
