In 1911/12, Fr. Cappello’s 2-volume work De Curia Romana (“On the Roman Curia”) was published. Volume 2 deals specifically with the Roman Curia during a time when there is no Pope, the state of sede vacante. It contains a treatment of the question of the “heretical Pope” (Papa haereticus) and whether the Church has the power to depose him.… READ MORE

The Modernism of Joseph Ratzinger / No essential difference between Francis’ and Benedict’s theology / Francis’ lack of concern for the supernatural life in souls illustrated: his belief that “good” atheists are saved; his reassurance of a homosexual atheist / Francis’ one-sidedness illustrated: Is receiving forgiveness only a matter of asking for it? Segment 2: Kennedy Hall misrepresents Sedevacantism as doubting the Papacy / Rev.
Sedevacantist Bishop Daniel Dolan, R.I.P. (1951-2022)
The sedevacantist bishop Daniel Lytle Dolan, long-time pastor of Saint Gertrude the Great Church in West Chester, Ohio, died suddenly today, on the Feast of Our Lady of Good Counsel, April 26. He was 70 years old.
Fr. Stephen McKenna, one of the priests at St. Gertrude’s, confirmed the death of His Excellency:
It seems that somehow word has gotten out faster than we ourselves could get it out. I regret to confirm/inform everyone that Bp. Dolan has passed away suddenly today, April 26, Mother of Good Counsel. Please pray for his soul and for all of us.
Francis twists the Gospel:
“The Lord is not looking for perfect Christians”
For his Regina Caeli address on this first Sunday after Easter today, on which the Gospel of doubting Apostle St. Thomas (Jn 20:19-31) is read, the Jesuit apostate Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) had plenty to say, and some of it wasn’t pretty.
Seeking an ally for his Faith-wrecking ideology in St. Thomas, the false pope proposed the idea that it’s perfectly alright to doubt the truth of God:
We too struggle at times like that disciple [St. Thomas]: how can we believe that Jesus is risen, that he accompanies us and is the Lord of our life without having seen him, without having touched him?
Behold the “New American Catholic” of 1968
Fr. William Nerin (1926-2020) presides over a liturgical travesty
In the last post, we saw that Paul VI himself came up with the expression “Conciliar Church” in March of 1966 to describe the ecclesial monstrosity his Second Vatican Council had created.
In the present post, we will look at some of the first fruits, so to speak, of that New Church in the United States.
In June of 1968, the American TV channel NBC aired a 50-minute documentary entitled The New American Catholic, and it shows how unrecognizable this new “Catholic Church” was less than 10 years after Pope Pius XII had died.… READ MORE
Do not use as a pretext the confused state of the seminarians who were to be ordained: this is just the opportunity to explain to them and to their families that you cannot ordain them to the service of the Church against the will of the supreme Pastor of the Church.
“Despised, and the most abject of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with infirmity” (Isaias 53:3)…
The Man of Sorrows:
A Loving Plea for the Conversion of the Jews
It is Good Friday. Today more than on any other day of the year, the Crucified Christ speaks to the world, and it is a message of infinite love. As St. Francis of Assisi writes in his meditation for the Twelfth Station of the Cross: “Behold Jesus crucified! Behold His wounds received for love of you! His whole appearance betokens love. His head is bent to kiss you. His arms are extended to embrace you.… READ MORE
Francis to the Pyramid: Antipope Bergoglio to visit World Religions Congress in Kazakhstan in September
Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a nation in Central Asia which until 1991 was part of the Communist Soviet Union and is predominantly Muslim.
On Apr. 11, 2022, President Tokayev held a video conference with the Argentinian apostate Jorge Bergoglio, who is better known to the world by his stage name, “Pope Francis”. Both the Kazakh press and Vatican News report that during the meeting Francis expressed his desire to visit the nation’s capital of Nur-Sultan (until 2019 known as Astana) to attend the seventh triennial Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, planned for Sep.… READ MORE
Naturalize to Neutralize: How Francis slyly deprives the Gospel of its Supernatural Character
Every Sunday, the Argentinian apostate Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) prays the Angelus from a window of the Apostolic Palace. Before its recitation, he typically delivers homiletic remarks on the Gospel of the day, and afterwards, he greets the people in attendance, mentions prayer requests, and comments on current affairs.
Interview with Former Novus Ordo Priest Michael DeSaye
The Rev. Mr. Michael DeSaye is a sedevacantist seminarian who is well on his way to the Catholic priesthood. Just this past Saturday, he was ordained a deacon, the last step before becoming a priest.
Deacon DeSaye is not your typical sedevacantist, however. He is, in fact, a former Novus Ordo priest. His original (invalid) ordination in the Vatican II Church took place on June 2, 2018, for the diocese of Trenton, New Jersey.
In an extremely rare occurrence, which is no doubt a badge of honor for him, Rev.… READ MORE
What passes for “Catholic theology” less than 60 years after the close of the Second Vatican Council is absolutely pathetic.
The dangerous Nouvelle Théologie (“New Theology”), rejected by Pope Pius XII in 1946 and also in 1950, has thoroughly dissolved genuine Catholic intellectual thought and led its proponents exactly to where the impeccably orthodox Fr. Reginald Garrigou-Lagrange predicted it would: straight back to Modernism.
