Fra. Cristoforo: ‘Cardinal Müller told Dubia Cardinals Formal Correction would risk Schism’

Once again breaking news in Novus Ordo Land: The Roman Novus Ordo cleric who goes by the pen name of Fra. Cristoforo (“Bro. Christopher”) has just published some additional information about the four “dubia cardinals” (Caffara, Brandmuller, Meisner, and Burke) and why the previously announced “formal correction of the Pope” has been scrapped.

Last week, after Fra. Cristoforo had revealed that the formal correction was not going to happen, Vatican journalist Edward Pentin sent out some tweets (see here and here) contradicting the claim, saying that the information was not correct and the formal correction was “still on.” Fra.

Formal Correction of “Pope” Francis
— Not going to happen?

The perpetual Vatican soap opera about the blasphemous-heretical “Apostolic Exhortation” Amoris Laetitia released last April by “Pope” Francis appears to be going into the next round.

On November 15, 2016, “Cardinal” Raymond Burke said in an interview with the National Catholic Register that there would be a “formal act of correction” of Francis if he should refuse to answer the dubia (doubts, questions) that had been submitted to him regarding certain points of doctrine contained in the exhortation:

There is, in the Tradition of the Church, the practice of correction of the Roman Pontiff.

Guess what: a new interview!

Francis: “I am a Sinner and am Fallible”

Those who thought that since “Pope” Francis is on retreat this week, we wouldn’t hear anything from him until he returns, will now have their illusions shattered: Tomorrow’s edition of the German weekly Die Zeit features a substantial interview with the chief Modernist of the Vatican II Church. The full text of the conversation, which is only available to paid subscribers, was released electronically on Mar. 8:

In order to remain within the legal guidelines of “fair use” of the copyrighted text, we cannot reproduce a lot of quotes from the interview here.

Amoris Laetitia and Concrete Cases:
A Reply to Austen Ivereigh

One of Francis’ biggest cheerleaders on and off the internet is the British writer Dr. Austen Ivereigh. He is the author of a comprehensive biography of Jorge Bergoglio entitled, The Great Reformer: Francis and the Making of a Radical Pope (2014).

As a contributor to various Novus Ordo publications, the left-leaning Ivereigh occasionally writes pieces defending Francis’ more controversial moves. One such attempt was recently published at Crux:

In this piece, which is essentially a high-level critique of the dubia submitted by “Cardinal” Raymond Burke & Co.

Merry Christmas!

Eat This!

In Christmas Address to Curia, Francis slams “Malicious Resistance” that accuses others and hides behind Traditions!

Well, folks, it looks like the dubia supporters have gotten their answer. Today, Dec. 22, 2016, Francis gave his annual Christmas address to the Roman Curia, which in the past had been loaded with fireworks. So too this time around.

The main focus of this year’s address was the ongoing reform of the Roman Curia, which he likened to a “surgical operation”. He listed twelve principles that guide his reworking of the Vatican apparatus: individualism; pastoral concern; missionary spirit; clear organization; improved functioning; modernization; sobriety; subsidiarity; synodality; catholicity; professionalism; and gradualism.

“Cardinal” Burke: Francis Not in Heresy, but Heretical Pope would Lose Office automatically

burke2
The Amoris Laetitia controversy is far from over. If anything, it’s entering now into its hottest phase yet.

American “Cardinal” Raymond Burke has recently given some interviews on the dubia and their non-response by “Pope” Francis and explained what is to happen next if the dubia remain unanswered. Previously Burke had already threatened a “formal act of correction” against Francis, but without giving details or a timeline. Now Burke has upped the ante.

On December 15, 2016, EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo interviewed the Novus Ordo cardinal on his nightly news program, The World Over.

The prelude to a formal schism within the Novus Ordo Sect has just reached a new stage: On Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, the Rome-based Lepanto Foundation held a conference in the Eternal City on Christian marriage and the errors of “Pope” Francis’ exhortation Amoris Laetitia. The well-attended conference was hosted by the Foundation‘s president, Roberto de Mattei, and took place only about 3 miles from the Vatican.

The Trinity, the Muslims, and the Jews:
A Brief Reply to Steve Kellmeyer

steve-kellmeyer1

What passes for “orthodox Catholic commentary” these days is unbelievable. Take Steve Kellmeyer, for example, author of the blog The Fifth Column. Theologically, Kellmeyer is a product of the Franciscan University of Steubenville / Catholic Answers type of “orthodox Catholicism”, and it shows.

In a blog post entitled “Cardinal Burke’s Breakup” (Nov. 24, 2016), Kellmeyer rebukes “Cardinal” Raymond Burke for daring to maintain that Catholics and Muslims do not worship the same God. While there are many things to criticize Mr.

Last Step before Schism?

“Cardinal” Burke threatens Francis with “Formal Act of Correction” if he won’t retract the Errors in Amoris Laetitia

cardinal-burke-concerned
When on Monday, Nov. 14, the Italian journalist Sandro Magister published the five dubia submitted to Francis by “Cardinals” Caffarra, Burke, Brandmuller, and Meisner in September, requesting a “clarification” on various controverted points found in the Bergoglian exhortation Amoris Laetitia, it was certain that “clarification” was just a smoother-sounding code word for “retraction”. There is, after all, nothing left to clarify: The exhortation is a most dangerous document subversive of the very foundations of Catholic morality that brazenly attacks the indissolubility of the marriage bond; and Francis has already confirmed, sometimes more, sometimes less openly, that any ambiguous passages are to be understood in their heretical sense.

Four “Cardinals” officially ask “Pope” to Clarify Amoris Laetitia — Francis Refuses to Answer!

burke-meisner-brandmuller-caffarra

[UPDATE 15-NOV-16: Interview with “Cardinal” Burke on Challenge to Francis]

One may say it’s an Ottaviani Intervention for Novus Ordos: “Cardinals” Raymond Burke, Joachim Meisner, Walter Brandmüller, and Carlo Caffarra have taken the formal step of submitting an official set of dubia (“doubts”) to the “Pope”, presenting him with five specific questions pertaining to the disastrous and controversial “Apostolic” Exhortation Amoris Laetitia, which he released in April of this year. These five clear questions demand five clear answers: yes or no.

Reality Check on “Cardinal” Burke…

“Cardinal” Burke accepted Transsexual Man as “Nun”

While many in the Novus Ordo Sect have long been hailing “Cardinal” Raymond Burke as some sort of traditionalist hero, and perhaps the next St. John Fisher, the Call Me Jorge blog has reminded people of an interesting piece of news from the early 2000’s that shows that then-“Bishop” Burke of La Crosse, Wisconsin, allowed a genetic male to be accepted as a religious sister (!) in a congregation co-founded by “her” in the 1990s, the so-called “Franciscan Servants of Jesus”.

When the time came for this “sister” — a man named Joel Green who had undergone surgical mutilation and has since used the pseudonym Julie Green — to make “her” final (perpetual) vows, one concerned woman in the diocese of La Crosse by the name of Mary Therese Helmueller had enough and complained to the Vatican about the scandal.

First Burke, then Lenga, now Schneider:
The Schism Begins

burke-lenga-schneider.jpg

Things are getting wild, folks. While a formal, full-blown schism may still be a couple of years away, we believe that recent events indicate we are seeing an intra-Novus-Ordo schism in its infancy.

In October 2014, just before the dramatic “Synod on the Family” began, we explained at length what we saw as the foundation for believing that there is a major rift coming between Bergoglio-Modernists on the one hand and Ratzinger/Wojtyla-Modernists on the other:

Just in the past week, three further developments have taken place, involving two Novus Ordo bishops and one cardinal, that underscore the reality of the rift that is beginning to take shape: On February 8, a French television program aired an interview with “Cardinal” Raymond Burke, widely seen as Francis’ highest-ranking and most outspoken antagonist, in which the layman-dressed-as-cardinal made clear that he would “resist” any attempts by Francis to permit those living in public sin to receive the Novus Ordo sacraments.

That Schism is coming…

“I Will Resist”

cardinal-burke-concerned.jpg

In Interview on French Television, “Cardinal” Burke pledges he will resist and oppose “Pope” Francis if he should allow Public Adulterers to receive Communion

That schism we’ve been predicting for months is now beginning to take more concrete shape, it seems. During an interview with a French television channel, the recently-demoted “Cardinal” Raymond Burke declares quite plainly that he is ready to “resist” Francis if the latter should grant access to the sacraments to unrepentant adulterers, which is being rumored may happen at the Synod scheduled for October of this year (last year’s first Synod on this topic was a bloodbath, if you recall).
