On June 26, 1990, the Vatican released a 27-page “Instruction on the Ecclesial Vocation of the Theologian” bearing the official title Donum Veritatis (“The Gift of Truth”). It is available on the Vatican web site in English and sundry other languages:

The text was presented at a press conference by then-‘Cardinal’ Joseph Ratzinger (1927-2022), who at the time was head of the so-called Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith under ‘Pope’ John Paul II (r.READ MORE

Today, Robert Prevost (‘Pope Leo XIV’) received representatives of the so-called Neocatechumenal Way, one of the many Vatican II-spawned lay movements. It was founded in 1964 by Francisco ‘Kiko’ Argüello (b. 1939), Carmen Hernández (1930-2016), and Rev. Mario Pezzi (b. 1941).

In his address to those gathered, Leo, similar to his predecessor Jorge Bergoglio (‘Pope Francis’), made a point to warn against using “rigidity” and “moralism” in their preaching of the Gospel, catechetical efforts, or pastoral work, lest people experience “guilt and fear”:

The Church accompanies you, supports you, and is grateful for what you do.

A Very Different Church:
Leo XIV and the ‘Week of Prayer for Christian Unity’

It’s that time of the year again: The annual so-called “Week of Prayer for Christian Unity” is right around the corner (Jan. 18-25), which is an ecumenicized version of the traditional Catholic “Chair of Unity Octave”, which was approved by Pope St. Pius X in 1909 and extended to the Universal Church by Pope Benedict XV in 1916. An octave is an observance of eight days, and it is called “Chair of Unity” in reference to the Chair of St.… READ MORE

LEO WATCH, Episode 7

“We Must Leave Behind Theological Controversies”

Since May 8 of last year, the Rev. Robert F. Prevost has been running the Vatican II Church as ‘Pope Leo XIV’.

The sedevacantist podcast program LEO WATCH evaluates Leo’s public actions and teachings from the perspective of traditional Roman Catholicism, that is, that which the entire world knew to be Roman Catholicism until the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958.

LEO WATCH is produced by Roman Catholic Media on a monthly basis. A seventh episode was broadcast live on Dec. 20 on YouTube.… READ MORE

Leo XIV’s Strange New Pastoral Staff: Bent Cross with Ascending Christ ‘No Longer Bound By the Nails of the Passion’!

(image: YouTube screenshot/Vatican News)

For the Feast of the Epiphany on Jan. 6, 2026, Robert Prevost — the false pope from Chicago who is now known as Leo XIV — showed up with a new pastoral staff, also called a crozier or ferula.

In a blog post reporting on the new ‘papal’ staff, Vatican News quotes an explanation given by the Office for the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff:

The pastoral staff of Pope Leo XIV “presents Christ no longer bound by the nails of the Passion, but with His glorified body in the act of ascending to the Father.

The brazen unbelief of the post-Catholic Jesuits in our day has become so common that it is par for the course. The latest example is Fr. Klaus Mertes, S.J. (b. 1954), an author, editor, and school teacher who is presently superior of a Jesuit community in Berlin, Germany.

Mertes is known for his advocacy of the LGBTQXYZ ideology and rose to prominence as a whistleblower on sexual abuse at a Jesuit college in 2010.… READ MORE

Leo XIV Holds Extraordinary Consistory:

In November of last year, it became known that ‘Pope’ Leo XIV (Robert Prevost) was convening an extraordinary consistory of cardinals for Jan. 7 and 8, 2026. The well-founded rumor was confirmed by the Vatican with an official announcement in December.

A consistory is essentially a meeting of the Pope with his cardinals. It is a very traditional convention in the Catholic Church, and one that has been retained by the Novus Ordo Sect (Vatican II Church):

A Consistory, which comes from the Latin “consistere” meaning “stand together,” is a formal meeting of the College of Cardinals.

Nationally-Televised Novus Ordo Mass in Germany
Features Slime Monster as Infant Jesus

Merry Christmas, Germany? More like April Fool’s….

Under its new ‘bishop’ Klaus Krämer (b. 1964), the uber-woke diocese of Rottenburg-Stuttgart, Germany, found a way to make Christmas not merely unappealing but downright repulsive: A nationally-televised ‘Christmas Mass’ on Dec. 24, 2025, included what was called a ‘living’ Christmas crib that was so repulsive that even non-religious people were outraged.

The abominable service was led by ‘Fr.’ Thomas Steiger (see photo here) and his female liturgical sidekick, pastoral associate Katharina Leser. The motto for this Christmas ‘Mass’ was: So viel Mensch war nie!READ MORE
