Interview with SSPX Superior General

Bp. Bernard Fellay:
‘Rome has given me Permission to ordain Priests freely’

The United States District of the Lefebvrian Society of Saint Pius X has just released a 30-minute video interview with the Society’s Superior General, Bishop Bernard Fellay. Recorded on April 21, 2017, the interview predates the recent turmoil in the Society’s French District over the removal of seven deans protesting the Vatican’s “concession” on SSPX marriages.

The full interview, conducted in English, can be watched here:

A transcript of the interview has been posted by the SSPX U.S. District and is accessible here.… READ MORE

French SSPX in Disarray as District Superior tries to defend Removal of seven “Rebellious” Priests, Commotion at St. Nicolas in Paris

[UPDATE 19-MAY-2017 18:32 UTC: English translation of Contre-Info article added.]

As we reported on May 11, seven deans of the Lefebvrian Society of St. Pius X’s French district were removed from their positions by the district superior, Fr. Christian Bouchacourt, after disseminating and reading from the pulpit a public letter explaining their rejection of the Vatican’s recent overtures on the celebration of SSPX marriages. The open letter, which was condemned by Fr. Bouchacourt the very same day, also made clear that the seven recalcitrant SSPX priests in question are not willing to go along with any reconciliation with Modernist Rome which the Superior General, Bp.… READ MORE

Trouble in SSPX French District: Seven Deans rebel, get removed from their Positions

The 7 French deans and other priests who joined them

[Update: An English translation of the French deans’ letter has just been released by The Remnant. Also: The seven SSPX clerics in question were not mere priors, as we had previously reported, but deans, that is, heads of deaneries, which are larger geographical subdivisions containing groupings of priories. We have updated the post accordingly.]

Ugly as Sin: The Vatican’s 2017 Easter Card

It’s that time of the year again when Jorge Bergoglio sends out greeting cards, and it’s not pretty — literally.

For Easter this year, Francis chose a design by the same artist whose work was featured on the 2014 Christmas card, which drew everybody’s immediate attention to a donkey’s rump, which was the most prominently featured part of the card.

Victor Delhez is the man’s name, and a picture of his Risurrezione engraving is displayed on the front of Francis’ official Easter card. Here is what it looks like (click picture to enlarge, at your own risk):

The inside of the card looks as follows:

Out of all the beautiful paintings of the Resurrection and the Resurrected Christ they could have chosen, the Vatican under “Pope” Francis chose, of course, one of the ugliest designs they could find.… READ MORE

Introduces Novus Ordo priests into SSPX sanctuaries…

Vatican issues cunning Document
on SSPX Marriages

[UPDATE 04-APR-17 18:00 UTC: Official SSPX Press Release concerning this document]

The Vatican has just added a bigger piece of cheese to the mousetrap it has set for the SSPX.

Today, April 4, the Modernist Vatican took another significant step towards fully “integrating” the Lefebvrist Society of St. Pius X (SSPX) into that much-vaunted “full communion” with itself.

In a letter dated March 27 but not released until today, the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei instructs local ordinaries (i.e. “bishops” of dioceses) that they are permitted to grant faculties for witnessing marriages to priests of the SSPX operating in their dioceses, given certain stipulations laid out in the document.… READ MORE

“Pope” Francis flaunts use of Portable Toilet during Milan Visit

[UPDATE: Vatican insider and contributor to Osservatore Romano, Ulrich Nersinger, reports that the whole bathroom incident was planned in advance]

Yes, we all have to take care of business at some point, but there’s a discreet way of doing it and then there’s the Francis way: During his trip to Milan, Italy, today, “Pope” Francis decided to use a portable toilet in front of rolling cameras, presumably to once again demonstrate to the world his great “humility.”

There is video of it here:

Vatican Journalist:
“Francis and Benedict no longer on Speaking Terms”

Andreas Englisch is one of German media’s favorite Vatican insiders and “papal” biographers. In a lecture given on March 16, 2017 in Limburg (the diocesan headquarters where Benedict appointee “Bishop” Franz-Peter Tebartz-van Elst was removed by Francis in 2014), Englisch made some explosive claims about the relationship between the “Pope” and the “Pope Emeritus”: The two men are at complete odds with each other and are no longer on speaking terms; Benedict XVI only makes a public appearance when Francis orders him to, according to Englisch.… READ MORE

Fra. Cristoforo: ‘Cardinal Müller told Dubia Cardinals Formal Correction would risk Schism’

Once again breaking news in Novus Ordo Land: The Roman Novus Ordo cleric who goes by the pen name of Fra. Cristoforo (“Bro. Christopher”) has just published some additional information about the four “dubia cardinals” (Caffara, Brandmuller, Meisner, and Burke) and why the previously announced “formal correction of the Pope” has been scrapped.

Last week, after Fra. Cristoforo had revealed that the formal correction was not going to happen, Vatican journalist Edward Pentin sent out some tweets (see here and here) contradicting the claim, saying that the information was not correct and the formal correction was “still on.”… READ MORE

SSPX-Rome Reconciliation: Vatican’s “Abp.” Guido Pozzo says “The Holy Father is Pressing Forward”

These days, barely a day goes by when someone in the Vatican isn’t giving some sort of an interview. Today it was “Archbishop” Guido Pozzo’s turn once more.

Pozzo is the secretary for the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, the Vatican’s dicastery that exclusively deals with matters pertaining to the Lefebvrist Society of St. Pius X (SSPX). The name Ecclesia Dei is derived from the document that established the commission, John Paul II‘s eponymous motu proprio of July 2, 1988, in which the definitive rift with the SSPX was formalized after Abp.… READ MORE

It’s Confession Time!
Today’s Edition of the Francis Show at St. Peter’s

Today it was time again for Francis’ annual “watch me go to confession” show in St. Peter’s. The video of the Vatican’s entire penitential liturgy can be viewed here; but Rome Reports has published just the relevant clip:

Presumably, no one was playing Sudoku in the confessionals of St. Peter’s today. We remember the complaint that was lodged by a young Novus Ordo priest who had experienced on several occasions that the “priests” in the basilica’s confessionals were more interested in playing games or reading the paper than actually hearing confessions.… READ MORE

Formal Correction of “Pope” Francis
— Not going to happen?

The perpetual Vatican soap opera about the blasphemous-heretical “Apostolic Exhortation” Amoris Laetitia released last April by “Pope” Francis appears to be going into the next round.

On November 15, 2016, “Cardinal” Raymond Burke said in an interview with the National Catholic Register that there would be a “formal act of correction” of Francis if he should refuse to answer the dubia (doubts, questions) that had been submitted to him regarding certain points of doctrine contained in the exhortation:

There is, in the Tradition of the Church, the practice of correction of the Roman Pontiff.

Profanation in Rome:
Anglican Liturgy celebrated in St. Peter’s Basilica

Today is the fourth anniversary of Jorge Bergoglio’s election as head of the apostate Vatican II Sect. What’s a fitting way to mark that special day? How about an Anglican liturgy inside St. Peter’s Basilica at the altar of the Chair of St. Peter?

That’s exactly what happened today.

Curiously, the event was not advertised very much; but on Feb. 7, readers of this blog were informed of the upcoming sacrilege:

It remains to be seen if there will be a decent amount of news coverage or if the Vatican and other Novus Ordo news outlets will try to keep reporting on this to a bare minimum. … READ MORE

A new ‘New Mass’?

Vatican reportedly working on ‘Ecumenical Rite of Mass’ for joint Worship with Protestants

What difference, at this point, would it make?

The times we live in are such that it is increasingly difficult to distinguish fact from fiction, truth from satire. A few days ago a rumor began to spread on the internet to the effect that the Vatican is working on drafting a new, ecumenical rite of “Mass”, one that can be attended by “Catholics” (i.e. Novus Ordos), Anglicans, and other Protestants, and that can also be concelebrated by “clergy” from these three groups. In other words, it would be a lowest-common denominator worship service that presents no doctrinal obstacle to Novus Ordos, Anglicans, or other Protestants (the Eastern Orthodox are conspicuously absent from this project).… READ MORE

“Cardinal” Coccopalmerio: Need to Revisit Notion of Sacraments as only either Valid or Invalid

Valid or invalid? Too black and white for Cocco!

The Vatican II Sect is an absolute circus. What passes for “Catholic theology” in the Modernist dens of the Vatican has the hallmarks of a tragicomedy.

Consider the latest from “Cardinal” Francesco Coccopalmerio, the president of the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Legislative Texts. In an interview conducted by Ed Pentin of the National Catholic Register, published Mar. 1, the curial “cardinal” said:

We say, everything is valid; nothing is valid.

The Papacy & the Passion of the Church

During last year’s Fatima Conference sponsored by the Congregation of Mary Immaculate Queen (CMRI) in Spokane, Washington, Mr. Mario Derksen, pictured below, gave a most informative lecture on the subject of the Catholic Papacy and the Church’s Mystical Passion. We are happy to be able to share the audio and also a written version of this presentation.

What has happened to the Catholic Church? This is the question that everyone who has a love for the Church is asking himself in our time. The Church of Jesus Christ is divinely guaranteed to be indefectible: She cannot change in her essence; she cannot defect from her divine mission; she cannot compromise with the errors of the world; she cannot lose the Faith and suddenly promote a different religion.… READ MORE
