The Remnant Launches Petition Drive to Stop Francis’ Synod on the Family
It’s already mid-August, and the Neo-Traditionalists at The Remnant know very well that the writing is on the wall: The synod of “bishops” planned for October in Rome, in which the Vatican II Sect will, among other things, try to find a “pastoral solution” to the problem of public adulterers wanting to receive the Novus Ordo sacraments, is most likely going to unleash a doctrinal and moral earthquake that will make Francis’ absurd “pontificate” up until now look like the Medieval Inquisition. There has even been talk of changing the “language” of the natural moral law, which is a clear pretext for changing or abolishing the concept entirely.

The Remnant Underground: “Pope Francis and the Three Amigos”
Being a Semi-Traditionalist is pretty difficult these days: You have to somehow try to reconcile authentic, traditional Catholic teaching with the idea that the world’s most notorious Modernist, Jorge Bergoglio, is the Pope of the Catholic Church. Squaring the circle will prove easier than this, so it is not surprising that all the various attempts at making Francis into a Catholic cannot but end in failure. The problem is that so much damage is being done in the process, damage to Catholic truth and to a proper understanding of Catholic teaching on the Pope and the Church.

Decision Time for The Remnant:
Is the Novus Ordo Church the True Church or a Counterfeit Church?
For decades the semi-traditionalists at The Remnant have been reporting on the apostasy of the Vatican II Church: its evil disciplines, its erroneous and heretical teachings, its impious liturgical laws, its scandalous clergy, its wicked practices. In short, they have been making the overall case that the Novus Ordo Church is the exact opposite of a trustworthy guide in matters of eternal salvation, that it is not the Ark of Salvation but the Ark of Damnation.
Same Old Junk from The Remnant…
This episode of “The Remnant Underground” by Mr. Michael Matt is nothing more than an agenda-driven twisting of the facts. The Remnant desperately wants to believe in — and push — a Benedict XVI who is a friend and supporter of Fatima and the True Faith and the True Mass, so they use half-truths to paint a picture of Benedict XVI they want you to believe in. The objective facts, however, tell quite a different story. See for yourself:
Lies and Half-Truths vs. Reality
Matt claims: Benedict XVI agrees with Traditional Catholics that the Traditional Mass was never abrogated Truth: Yes, Benedict did say this, but it was a lie: In truth the Traditional Mass was suppressed, which is why you needed an “indult” to be allowed to offer it (see How Benedict Destroys the Traditional Mass)
Matt claims: Benedict XVI changed “For All” to “For Many” in the New Mass because he agrees that to say “For All” is a lie Truth: While Benedict did change “For All” (“Pro Omnibus“) back to “For Many” (“Pro Multis“), he did not concede that “For All” is wrong but that it is an “interpretation” rather than a pure translation, which, however, “was and remains very reasonable” – he does not abandon the conciliar theology behind “For All”: See Benedict’s own ridiculous explanation here and compare it to the reason given by the Roman Catechism (1566) for rejecting “For All”: “With reason, therefore, were the words ‘for all’ not used, as in this place the fruits of the Passion are alone spoken of, and to the elect only did His Passion bring the fruit of salvation” (source)
Matt claims: Benedict, through his example, shows he wants Communion in the Hand to be done away with Truth: This is a lie.
@Sensus_Fidelium @rusema @dailycatholic Infallibility doesn’t even have anything to do with it per se. You think it’s the same religion? Oh yeah? Alrighty then. Go to your local Novus Ordo church and ask if you can teach the doctrine of Mortalium Animos, Humani Generis, and Quas Primas, and see how far you get.
@Sensus_Fidelium @rusema @dailycatholic On Twitter we have character limits. I wasn’t trying to prove anything, simply trying to explain to people, in a nutshell, that Sedevacantists are those who refused to change their religion after Pius XII died.
Today I once again look into the case of Argentine bishop Gustavo Zanchetta, who had porn in his phone, was removed from his diocese and, while under investigation, went on retreat with the pope last week.
