Weeks before the expected release of his encyclical letter on the environment, which we have nicknamed Summa Ecologica, “Pope” Francis has endorsed a petition of the so-called “Global Catholic Climate Movement” (GCCM) that attempts to keep the earth’s temperature from rising by more than 1.5ºC.

The short petition is addressed to “World Leaders” and reads:

Climate change affects everyone, but especially the poor and most vulnerable people. Impelled by our Catholic faith, we call on you to drastically cut carbon emissions to keep the global temperature rise below the dangerous threshold of 1.5°C, and to aid the world’s poorest in coping with climate change impacts.

You can see the logo as released by the so-called “United States Conference of Catholic Bishops” above.

In the February 4, 2015 installment, Gnocchi responds to a lady named Lisetta, who asks, with all the evidence he has provided about “Pope” Francis’ denial of Catholic truths, would it not be easier to “say what [Antonio] Socci says” about Francis, namely, that Jorge Bergoglio is not in fact a valid Pope (see here)?

As you can probably imagine, he tried to steer a middle course — so as to look “moderate” — between “rigid” and “sloppy”:

During an interview with a French television channel, the recently-demoted “Cardinal” Raymond Burke declares quite plainly that he is ready to “resist” Francis if the latter should grant access to the sacraments to unrepentant adulterers, which is being rumored may happen at the Synod scheduled for October of this year (last year’s first Synod on this topic was a bloodbath, if you recall).

Such spirituality is totally devoid of anything distinctively Christian, distinctively Catholic, as though our Blessed Lord had come to earth merely to help the poor and ease suffering.
