“This saying is hard, who can accept it?” (Jn 6:60)

Francis “Explains” Bread of Life Discourse in John 6 — without mentioning the Real Presence!

From the man who likes to emphasize that we must “preach the Gospel always”, comes yet another blatant refusal to do precisely that. In a short “catechesis” on our Lord Jesus Christ’s “I am the Bread of Life” discourse in John 6:27-70, “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) in his Sunday Angelus Address of Aug. 23, 2015 managed to preach on the classic scriptural prooftext for the Catholic dogma of Transubstantiation while conspicuously avoiding any reference to the Real Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

 Responding to a popular objection…

Catholic Debate and Personal Polemics:
Are we just full of “Bitter Zeal” and “Venom”? Can We Only Attack an Argument and Never a Person?

Some readers of our web site, though happy with the content in general, may be somewhat displeased with our rhetorical and polemical style, or our personal rebukes of certain individuals, specifically (our favorite targets) members of the bogus Vatican II hierarchy, but also subscribers to the false “recognize-and-resist” opposition, including Michael Voris, John Vennari, Michael Matt, John Salza, and Christopher Ferrara. As of late, it seems to have become fashionable to object on certain blogs and forums that Novus Ordo Watch is just full of “venom” and “bitter zeal” — a rather convenient excuse not to have to deal with the facts presented.

“Satan will Try to Deceive Even the Elect”
Part 3

Most Rev. Mark A. Pivarunas

As part of their ongoing broadcast series “From the Pulpit,” our friends at The Restoration Radio Network are making available a very informative 3-part presentation by His Excellency, Bishop Mark Pivarunas, CMRI, on the ways in which Satan is trying to deceive even the elect, as warned by our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24:24: “For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect.”… READ MORE

Williamson spouts Protestant ideas…

Christ or Belial?
Bp. Sanborn refutes Bp. Williamson on the “New Mass”

sanborn-williamson.jpg
Just recently we took Bp. Richard Williamson to task for his ludicrous argumentation that the “New Mass” of the Vatican II Sect can licitly be attended by Catholics under certain restrictive circumstances. As we demonstrated in our post and video, the former SSPX bishop’s argumentation was lacking in consistency and, most of all, in traditional Catholic theological principles. Williamson based his entire argumentation on the Modernist, Subjectivist, and Protestant idea that licit attendance at Holy Mass is determined by what it does for the believer, rather than whether it is the true worship of God by the Catholic Church.… READ MORE

Bishop Williamson: Novus Ordo “Mass” is Bad
but OK if it “Nourishes your Faith”

williamson-waffles.jpg

We have long criticized the absurd, non-Catholic, and principle-less “theology” of the Lefebvrist Society of St. Pius X. How poor and bizarre it really is has just been demonstrated once again by none other than Bishop Richard Williamson, an Englishman consecrated by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre in 1988.

Although at this point no longer a part of the official SSPX, he is still very much part of the semi-traditionalist “resistance” against the Modernist Vatican that recognizes Francis and his five predecessors of infelicitous memory as legitimate — yet entirely ignorable — Roman Catholic Popes.… READ MORE

Surprise! Francis Downplays Blasphemy, says “Not Offended” by Hammer-and-Sickle Crucifix

This is hopefully the last post we have to write on the Communist hammer-and-sickle “crucifix” abomination that Bolivian President Evo Morales gave to “Pope” Francis on July 9. If you haven’t seen our prior three posts on what transpired in the last few days, please make sure you read them first so you understand the context. Here they are, in chronological order (though if you suffer from high blood pressure, you may not want to click):

Francis rebuked Morales for a blasphemous gift? Don’t you believe it…

[This post is a follow-up to “Francis Receives Blasphemous Gift of Christ Crucified on Hammer & Sickle”]

[UPDATE 11-JUL-2015 15:12 UTC: Francis dedicates Blasphemous Crucifix Medal to the Blessed Virgin Mary]

Less than 12 hours after the news broke in the English-speaking world that the Bolivian president Evo Morales had given Francis a blasphemous crucifix depicting the Lord Jesus Christ nailed to a hammer and sickle, and that Francis had accepted it without any sign of protest, disgust, anger, or resentment, the Novus Ordo news site Rome Reports published a story claiming that during this infamous exchange of gifts, Francis had actually rebuked the Socialist president with the words, “That’s not right” (“No está bien eso”).… READ MORE

In Laudato Sii, “Pope” Omits Passage from St. Francis’ Canticle of the Sun that warns of Mortal Sin

Francis Phillips is a writer for the UK-based Novus Ordo publication Catholic Herald. In a July 2 post on “Pope” Francis’ new eco-encyclical Laudato Si, Phillips points out a curiosity that everyone else seems to have missed so far. Although the encyclical claims St. Francis of Assisi’s famous and beautiful Canticle of the Sun for itself — from which the title “Laudato Si” (“Praise Be”) is taken — when it comes to actually quoting the entire text of the Canticle, Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”) must have decided to improvise a little.… READ MORE

What a Modernist Sounds Like:
The “Cardinal” Kasper Interview

(click to play video)

As the saying goes: If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. It is no different with heretics, especially Modernists. Pope St. Pius X wrote in his 1907 landmark encyclical Pascendi Dominici Gregis that Modernists can be identified as such by looking at what they do, what they believe, and how they express themselves. Let’s have a look at the opening paragraphs of this great papal document and see if this doesn’t sound eerily familiar:

One of the primary obligations assigned by Christ to the office divinely committed to Us of feeding the Lord’s flock is that of guarding with the greatest vigilance the deposit of the faith delivered to the saints, rejecting the profane novelties of words and the gainsaying of knowledge falsely so called.

Can a Heretical Pope Be Deposed?

St. Robert Bellarmine Refutes the Anti-Sedevacantists

As we had announced in one of our News Digests recently, the monumental theological work De Romano Pontifice(“On the Roman Pontiff”) of Cardinal St. Robert Bellarmine, S.J., has now been translated into English, for the first time ever. The translator is Mr. Ryan Grant of Mediatrix Press, and the English-speaking world owes him a tremendous amount of gratitude.

The English On the Roman Pontiff is being published in two volumes, with the first volume containing Books I and II, and the second volume containing Books III, IV, and V.

The Theology of the Bawdy…

Ghostwriter of Francis’ Ecology Encyclical wrote Book on “the Art of Kissing”

The ongoing freak show that is the Vatican II Church is getting more absurd by the day. It has now come to light that “the Pope’s theologian”, the man who wrote Francis’ forthcoming encyclical on ecology and the environment (reportedly to be called Laudato Sii), published a book twenty years ago entitled, “Heal me with your Mouth: The Art of Kissing.”

We’re not making this up. We couldn’t if we tried!

The author’s name is Victor Manuel Fernández, and Francis is very familiar with him as he is one of his closest advisers, going back to his days in Argentina.… READ MORE

In TRADCAST 005, released on May 31, 2015, we take you inside the Novus Ordo Twilight Zone: We examine Francis’ bombshell admission that the “Ecumenism of Blood” he has been teaching “may perhaps be a heresy”! We give a good spanking to Jimmy Akin of Catholic Answers for his carefree attempt to spin even Francis’ own admission of heresy into a harmless, orthodox statement, and we explain that all who seek to be genuine Roman Catholics must finally abandon the false Vatican II Church and adhere instead to the Catholic Church of the ages.… READ MORE
