Francis to Participate in Joint Commemoration of Protestant Reformation in Sweden
Beyond Luther: “Pope” Francis outdoes them all
You can file the following report under “You sedevacantists are just a bunch of Protestants!”:
As announced on January 25 of this year (see our coverage here), the Vatican II Sect’s leader, “Pope” Francis, will participate in an ecumenical prayer service with two Lutheran big shots to commemorate the Protestant Reformation in Lund, Sweden, on October 31, 2016. The event is scheduled to take place at the local cathedral, which was originally the Catholic Cathedral of St.… READ MORE
The Encyclical Mirari Vos of Pope Gregory XVI (1832)
Last year, our friends over at Restoration Radio launched an exciting new series on the errors of modernity: In The Popes Against Modern Errors, sedevacantist Bishop Donald Sanborn analyzes and comments on the great anti-modern encyclical letters of the Popes from Gregory XVI through Pius XII (1831-1958).
The first episode is dedicated to Pope Gregory XVI’s 1832 landmark encyclical against liberalism, Mirari Vos. This magisterial document condemns and refutes errors such as indifferentism, freedom of speech, religious liberty, and separation of church and state.… READ MORE
1965 Edition of Denzinger Omits Condemnation of Religious Liberty!
The popular and authoritative collection of papal and magisterial documents, Enchiridion Symbolorum (in its original Latin title), or The Sources of Catholic Dogma (in its English title), edited originally by Heinrich Denzinger, has gone through over forty revisions and updates since the first edition was published in 1854, adding Church documents that followed over the course of time. The 30th edition (1954) is back in print, and that is the one most often used throughout Catholic traditional circles to refer to authoritative texts and decrees of the Popes and the Magisterium of Holy Church, as it is the last available English edition before the death of Pope Pius XII.… READ MORE
Explosive 1964 Karl Rahner Testimony
on Joseph Ratzinger, John XXIII, Paul VI
Fr. Karl Rahner, left, was a suit-and-tie priest early on
Discovered in 2011, Karl Rahner Testimony from 1963-64 confirms Theological “Bloodbath” at Second Vatican Council (1962-65)
A formerly hidden letter by Karl Rahner to his brother Fr. Hugo Rahner, dated Nov. 2, 1963, was exhibited at a Carmelite church in Munich, Germany, in 2012, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council. (This letter had been in the possession of the son of Karl Rahner’s younger sister, Elisabeth Cremer [d. 2004], and was turned over to the official Karl Rahner Archive in 2011.)
After an unintentional hiatus of a month, TRADCAST is back with a special edition that deals exclusively with “Pope” Francis’ Exhortation Amoris Laetitia and the ongoing fallout from it. TRADCAST 013 was published on Apr. 26, 2016, and is available for free download or streaming. In this podcast, which has a total run time of 2 hours and 32 minutes, we first review the Vatican’s presentation of Amoris Laetitia delivered on April 8 and then dismantle some of the worst passages of the official text.… READ MORE
As we announced approximately one year ago, the monumental theological work De Romano Pontifice (“On the Roman Pontiff”) of Cardinal St. Robert Bellarmine, S.J., has now been translated into English, for the first time ever. The translator is Mr. Ryan Grant of Mediatrix Press, and the English-speaking world owes him a tremendous amount of gratitude.
The English On the Roman Pontiff has been published in two volumes, with the first volume containing Books I and II, and the second volume containing Books III, IV, and V.… READ MORE
French Novus Ordo Bishop hesitates to call Pedophilia a Sin
We have long said that Novus Ordo bishops are the most useless people on earth. The latest confirmation of this thesis comes from “Mgr.” Stanislas Lalanne, the local “Catholic bishop” of Pontoise, France, appointed by “Pope” Benedict XVI.
The following story ran in the French Novus Ordo publication La Croix in early April:
Bishop Lalanne Hesitates to Qualify Pedophilia as a Sin
By Marie Malzac, April 6, 2017
Interviewed Tuesday on RCF [Francophone Christian Radio], Bishop Stanislas Lalanne maintained that pedophilia was “an evil,” but not necessarily “in the order of sin,” rousing the condemnation of the victims group La Parole libérée [“The Liberated Word”] and incomprehension from both inside and outside the Church.
Bad news for “Cardinal” Burke, Michael Voris, Dave Armstrong, Tim Haines, and the rest of the conservative Novus Ordo crowd that thought they could explain it away: Francis has just personally confirmed that yes, with the publication of Amoris Laetitia, there are now new options availbable for unrepentant public adulterers and fornicators (possibly also for sodomites), options that were not available before, with regard to access to the Novus Ordo “sacraments.”… READ MORE
The Truth about Pope Liberius and the “Excommunication” of St. Athanasius
Now that Francis has successfully detonated his nuclear bomb called Amoris Laetitia — the “Apostolic Exhortation” effectively granting free rein to people in permanent adultery and other “irregular unions” to receive the Novus Ordo sacraments — the anti-sedevacantist “resistance traditionalists” are scrambling to justify their refusal to countenance the possibility that perhaps, just perhaps, a man whom anyone can see is truly the Vicar of Satan cannot also be the Vicar of Jesus Christ at the same time (cf. 2 Cor 6:15).
One of the most predictable internet sites in this regard is the famous indult blog Rorate Caeli, which quickly recycled the old litany of “heretical Popes” of the past to justify the current situation:
Why it is intrinsically impossible to be more Catholic than the Pope, is something we explained to The Remnant’s chief rhetorician Christopher Ferrara a few months ago, and it bears repeating:
With his latest humongous document which virtually no one will actually read in full, “Pope” Francis has outdone himself once more. The newly-released document exceeds even his previous overlong “Apostolic Exhortation”, Evangelii Gaudium (2013). At 254 pages of printed text, 391 footnotes, and exceeding 57,000 English words, Amoris Laetitia has got to be a new record for the post-Vatican II paper factory.… READ MORE

Novus Ordo Watch is pleased to be the official Amoris Laetitia Chaos Watch Headquarters: We are providing you with all the information you need to understand what’s going on with this much-anticipated document. The Day Before: Novus Ordo Adherents Apprehensive about Post-Synodal “Apostolic Exhortation” Amoris Laetitia
Don’t worry, buddy, Jimmy Akin’s got this!
What, oh what will Francis do?
Nothing shows trust and confidence in the Petrine office as the guarantee of orthodoxy and sound morals better than hysterically anticipating the theological equivalent of a nuclear detonation because “the Pope” will make a decision about whether publicly unrepentant adulterers can receive “Holy Communion”. In the Catholic Church, there would be nothing to decide on this topic. If a document were to be issued on it, it would contain one word: “No!”… READ MORE

Who knows what he means by this. Meanwhile: "If anyone shall say that justifying faith is nothing else than confidence in the divine mercy which remits sins for Christ's sake, or that it is this confidence alone by which we are justified: let him be anathema" (Denz. 822).
@justanother556 @MDLatinMass What do you mean by 'declaring' though? If you mean a legal declaration, no such thing is possible by the laity, nor is it necessary, nor does any layman presume to issue it: https://t.co/vXxQBgleQg https://t.co/tIy7DGTUP9
@MDLatinMass A future declaration is nice and important, but Catholics need to know now whether Francis is the Pope or not. That's because Catholics must submit to and follow the Pope, not merely verbally acknowledge he is Pope and then do their own thing. https://t.co/oJz9TjW7gZ
