Vibrant and joyful: A Novus Ordo Hootenanny!

Bet you didn’t know! “In the bread and in the wine, there is Jesus”, Francis teaches his hapless audience in his latest catechesis on the Mass Novus Ordo worship service. Louie Verrecchio dismantles the entire thing.

The “New Evangelization” in all its glory: At synagogue, “Cardinal” Blase Cupich apologizes to Jews if they have been evangelized. (What’s Mr. Cupich doing at a Jewish synagogue? Find out!)

Beware of Novus Ordo bloggers with “mystical experiences”: Taylor Marshall says he had a vision which made clear to him that the Vatican II Sect’s dogma, doctrine, and morality were still pure, still — no pun intended — “unadulterated”.… READ MORE

A Foreword Gone Awry:
SSPX issues Disclaimer concerning Fr. Robinson’s New Book

The theological absurdistan known as the “position of the Society of St. Pius X” is once again on full display. This time it has to do with the fact that the SSPX, so hell-bent on joining up with the apostate post-Catholic Vatican, decided to have a new book by one of its own priests published by a Novus Ordo publishing company, the UK-based Gracewing.

The book in question is The Realist Guide to Religion and Science by Fr.… READ MORE

German “Bishops” cause Outrage by allowing “Holy Communion” for Protestants on Case-by-Case Basis

“Cardinal” Jorge Bergoglio at work distributing the invalid Novus Ordo cookie (video)

There is just never a dull day in Novus Ordo Land. Yesterday, the big story was that, led by the infamous “Cardinal” Reinhard Marx, the German “bishops” had decided to permit the Protestant spouses of “Catholics” to receive the Novus Ordo version of Holy Communion. This permission is to apply only, of course, in “individual cases” and only under “certain circumstances” — just like Bergoglio’s permission to commit adultery — and without “chang[ing] any doctrine”.… READ MORE

Francis: ‘I Don’t Read Websites that Accuse Me of Being a Heretic’

Last month “Pope” Francis traveled to Chile and Peru (see our coverage here). On such trips Jorge Bergoglio likes to privately visit with his fellow-Jesuits for off-the-cuff questions and answers, and this he did on Jan. 16 in Santiago, Chile and on Jan. 19 in Lima, Peru. Transcripts of the conversations are always made, but to translate and release them is a privilege that belongs to “Fr.” Antonio Spadaro, editor-in-chief of La Civiltà Cattolica, which was once a prestigious Jesuit review but now is simply another Modernist rag cheering on the destruction of Catholicism.… READ MORE

Conscience, Sin, and a “New Paradigm”:
Blase Cupich unloads Bergoglian Bilge at Cambridge

The Novus Ordo Sect’s Archlayman of Chicago, “Cardinal” Blase Cupich, delivered a landmark speech on Francis’ exhortation Amoris Laetitia this past February 9 at the so-called Von Hügel Institute for Critical Catholic Inquiry of St. Edmund’s College at the University of Cambridge, England. Entitled “Pope Francis’ Revolution of Mercy: Amoris Laetitia as a New Paradigm of Catholicity”, Cupich’s lecture was riddled with errors and even contained heresy and blasphemy.

How to summarize the most salient point in Cupich’s talk?… READ MORE

Blasphemy In Your Face:
The Seminary Chapel in Graz, Austria

As the years progress, the apostasy perpetrated by the Novus Ordo Sect gets more and more audacious. Especially in Europe, open blasphemy in church architecture and “art” is not uncommon. We have shown many examples on this web site (for example, recall this beauty here or that outrage there), but a new one has just come to our attention that we do not wish to withhold from our readers. It is the interior of the seminary chapel in the diocese of Graz-Seckau, Austria:

What we see here is the typical Novus Ordo “sanctuary” with which soon-to-be “Saint” Paul VI graced the world, clearly modeled after the layout of a Masonic lodge.… READ MORE

Five Years Ago Today: Benedict XVI Resigns

Joseph Ratzinger Announced Historic
Resignation Five Years Ago Today

It was Monday, February 11, 2013, when Italian journalist Giovanna Chirri became the first person to inform the world of “Pope” Benedict XVI‘s resignation, effective February 28. As the Vatican correspondent for the Italian news outlet ANSA, Chirri was seated among other members of the press to cover on-site the consistory Benedict had convoked and at which he made known his totally unexpected decision to renounce the office of the papacy which he had (falsely) been claiming since April 19, 2005:

Quapropter bene conscius ponderis huius actus plena libertate declaro me ministerio Episcopi Romae, Successoris Sancti Petri, mihi per manus Cardinalium die 19 aprilis MMV commisso renuntiare ita ut a die 28 februarii MMXIII, hora 20, sedes Romae, sedes Sancti Petri vacet et Conclave ad eligendum novum Summum Pontificem ab his quibus competit convocandum esse.

The supernatural is overrated…

A Perfect Example of Naturalism: Francis reflects on Death without mentioning Judgment, Heaven, or Hell

The world was given a rather generous glimpse into the Naturalist mind of Jorge Bergoglio today as the man otherwise known as “Pope Francis” reflected on death during his daily homily.

As we have pointed out numerous times on this web site, Francis preaches what we call the “gospel of man”, a false gospel that focuses almost exclusively on the temporal, the mundane, the natural. His concern is always with this world: Whether it be helping the needy, eradicating poverty, improving education, combatting economic injustice, advocating for a “culture of encounter” or of “tenderness”, or improving working conditions for coal miners in Indonesia, the “Pope” is always there with his oh-so tender-hearted solicitude and unsolicited advice.… READ MORE

Francis and the Idolatry of Conscience

We have long gotten used to the fact that “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) never denounces the grave sin of idolatry in its proper literal sense, such as is committed by Hindus and Voodooists, for example. On the contrary, he is very much enamored with Paganism and its “traditions.” He does, however, love to rail against metaphorical “idolatries”, such as what he calls the idolatry of money, of immanence, of ideas, of oneself, of space being greater than time, of false philanthropy, etc.… READ MORE

“Apostolic Constitution” Veritatis Gaudium
on Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties

December 27, 2017

The Vatican has released yet another monster of a document: Veritatis Gaudium (“The Joy of Truth”). In its English version, the thing has 22,862 words in 56 pages. It contains four major sections that include a total of 70 articles, features two appendices, and has 113 footnotes.

Not surprisingly, this supposed “Apostolic Constitution” once again features a Latin word meaning “joy” in its title. This time, it’s gaudium again, a Novus Ordo favorite (think Gaudium et Spes and Evangelii Gaudium, for example, and John XXIII’s address that opened Vatican II, Gaudet Mater Ecclesia).

The Ultramontanism Objection

Response to a misguided accusation…

The Ultramontanism Objection

We hear the accusations all the time: “Papolater!” – “Papal positivist!” – “Uber-Papalist!” – “Ultramontanist!” Among those who consider themselves traditional Catholics but accept Francis’ claim to being the Pope, the Catholic doctrine on the Papacy is not very popular, and it is easy to see why: Forcing Jorge Bergoglio through the template of the Papacy yields grotesque results.

Epithets like the ones mentioned are being hurled at us sedevacantists because we proclaim, as every Catholic did until the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958, that the teaching of the Roman Pontiff requires our submission — it is not subject to review, criticism, or validation by every Tom, Dick, and Harry who happens to have access to a copy of Denzinger and knows how to hit “publish” on a blogging platform.… READ MORE

Interview with Archlayman of Vienna

“Cardinal” Schönborn: Amoris Laetitia adds what is missing from one-sided Veritatis Splendor

The January 11, 2018 edition of the German weekly Christ & Welt (“The Christian & the World”) features an interview with the notorious Archapostate of Vienna, “Cardinal” Christoph Schönborn, conducted by Julius Müller-Meiningen. Christ & Welt is published as a supplement to the weekly national paper Die Zeit.

“Who’s wearing the hat in Rome?”, the publication asks on its title page. The blurb underneath describes the occasion for the interview: “Conservatives are criticizing Pope Francis severely for his encyclical [sic] ‘Amoris laetitia’.… READ MORE

The Importance of Not Being… Sedevacantist?
Chris Ferrara’s Double Standard

On Dec. 31, 2017, The Remnant‘s senior polemicist Christopher Ferrara published an interesting blog post entitled “The Importance of Not Being Us”. In it, he takes to task the two Novus Ordo apologists Karl Keating and Dave Armstrong for a recent public exchange they had over a new book by Catholic Culture‘s Philip Lawler, bearing the title Lost Shepherd: How Pope Francis is Misleading His Flock.

Keating, Armstrong, and Lawler all fall into the “conservative” or “Neo-Catholic” camp of the Novus Ordo Sect, the difference being that Lawler is no longer willing to deny what is in front of his very eyes with regard to “Pope” Francis’ teachings and actions.… READ MORE

A Francis Christmas:
Roman Curia gets its annual Spanking

It’s that time of the year again!

On Dec. 21, the members of the Roman Curia were gathered in the Clementine Hall of the Apostolic Palace to receive what used to be called the Pope’s annual Christmas greetings. While Jorge Bergoglio has occupied the Vatican structures under the stage name “Pope Francis”, however, it is more appropriate to speak of a yearly Christmas spanking, at least since 2014. While most people around this time of year typically wish their fellow men blessings of grace, joy, and peace, Francis knows how to throw a monkey-wrench into the most quiet and contemplative season of the year.… READ MORE

Jewish Hanukkah celebrated at the Vatican

Nothing says ‘witnessing to Christ and the Gospel’ quite like celebrating the religion that officially denies Him, right on Vatican property!

On Dec. 12, 2017, a menorah was lit behind Vatican walls in a Jewish ceremony led by Oren David, who is Israel’s Ambassador to the Holy See. A number of official Vatican representatives participated in a rite of prayers, hymns, and candle-lighting. As Vatican Insider reports:

Last week’s [interreligious] Vatican meetings concluded with a happy, inclusive moment of a celebration of Hannukah [sic].
