“Make friends with members of all religions!”

Guru, Rabbi, Mufti, “Pope”:
Francis joins Campaign for Pan-Religious Friendship

The so-called Elijah Interfaith Institute has launched a campaign to bring people of different religions together in order to overcome “negativity and divisions in society”. The effort has received the official endorsement and encouragement of prominent leaders of numerous religions, and of course this includes the head of the apostate Vatican II Sect, “Pope” Francis.

“The World’s Most Prominent Religious Leaders Call On Everyone To Make Friends Across Religions” is the headline currently displayed on the Institute‘s web site, followed by a summary of its interreligious friendship campaign:

On June 14, 2017 many of the world’s most prominent religious leaders made a joint statement encouraging people everywhere to make friends across religions.

Semi-Trads trip over the Papacy…

The Stumbling Block of the Papacy:
Why Bergoglio doesn’t fit

At the dictation of the Holy Ghost, the first Pope, St. Peter, wrote concerning his Lord and Master Jesus Christ:

…it is said in the scripture [Is 28:16]: Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious. And he that shall believe in him, shall not be confounded. To you therefore that believe, he is honour: but to them that believe not, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner: And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of scandal, to them who stumble at the word, neither do believe, whereunto also they are set.

Francis’ Raging Mess:
On Recent Vatican News & Rumors

(image: istockphoto.com)

The Vatican today is a complete mess. Not that that’s anything new, but it’s probably never been worse than it is now. It has been well over 3 years now that Francis first told people at World Youth Day 2013 to “make a mess”, and he’s been leading by splendid example.

Ten days ago we reported on the anti-Francis posters that had mysteriously popped up on Saturday morning in Rome. This rather unusual way of criticizing the pretend-Pontifex did not end there, however. In fact, it was perhaps just the beginning: A few days ago a spoofed cover of the official Vatican newspaper Osservatore Romano made the rounds (see image below).… READ MORE

The Last Judgment According to Francis

Getting Michelangelo’s Last Judgment in line with Francis’ False Gospel…

If you’ve been greatly disturbed by the perpetual heresy spout called “Pope Francis” lately but for some reason or another were still holding out hope that he really is a Catholic and this is all just a big misunderstanding, the following story will provide a sobering reality check for you.

Today, the famous Vaticanist Sandro Magister released a blog post entitled “World’s End Update. The ‘Last Things’ According to Francis”, in which he quoted Francis’ favorite interviewer, the atheist Eugenio Scalfari, thus:

Pope Francis has abolished the places where souls were supposed to go after death: hell, purgatory, heaven.

John Daly destroys a foundational pillar of false traditionalism

Faith and Authority:
When is Disobedience Legitimate?

(Sueddeutsche Zeitung Photo / Alamy Stock Photo)

One of the foundational pillars of the popular “recognize-and-resist” position of the Society of St. Pius X and their theological cousins is the idea that whenever a lawful ecclesiastical authority, such as the Pope, abuses his office by giving a command that ought not to be given, then his inferiors have the right, perhaps even the duty, to resist it, that is, they are permitted or required to disobey by refusing to carry it out. Conversely, the recognize-and-resist adherents maintain that if an action is laudable and profitable to the Church or to souls and yet it is being forbidden by a legitimate Catholic authority for an unjust or insufficiently good reason, then it is licit to carry it out anyway, despite the superior’s prohibition. … READ MORE

Blasphemy, Heresy, Sacrilege:
Francis’ Chaos in Colombia

When someone like “Pope” Francis spends more than 4 days in Colombia, you know he will leave a huge mess to clean up. And indeed, in addition to Francis’ remarks about social inequality and his blessing of the adulterous union of the Colombian President and his mistress, there is a lot more to talk about.

As providing an examination of all the errors, heresies, sacrileges, and blasphemies the man committed during his “Apostolic Journey” would prove too daunting of a task, we will restrict ourselves to only a few select items that stand out.… READ MORE

The Rockford Files…

Two Interviews with Fr. Michael Oswalt, former Novus Ordo Priest from Rockford Diocese

michael-oswalt2

Fr. Michael Oswalt is a convert to Sedevacantism from the Novus Ordo Sect, but not just any convert: He was actually a “priest” in the Modernist diocese of Rockford, Illinois, when he began to realize that the religion in which he was operating was not — as he had previously thought — the Roman Catholic religion established by our Lord Jesus Christ, but a Modernistic counterfeit whose beliefs and practices undermine and even outright contradict the traditional Roman Catholic teachings of all Popes until the death of Pius XII in 1958.… READ MORE

Another argument goes down in flames…

The Case of Pope Celestine III:
A Refutation of Robert J. Siscoe

The Pope is the one on the left

The master theologians of the recognize-and-resist camp are just too smart for their own good. On Feb. 21, 2017, Remnant contributor and True or False Pope? co-author Robert J. Siscoe published what he thought was a slam dunk against Sedevacantism. In an essay entitled “Pope Celestine III’s Error on the Indissolubility of Marriage”, published in the online edition of The Remnant, Siscoe argued that Pope Celestine III (1191-1198) had committed a serious doctrinal error which was later incorporated into universal Church law by Pope Gregory IX.… READ MORE

The Primacy and Infallibility of the Sovereign Pontiffs: The Case of Pope Honorius I

FOREWORD

At the beginning of January of this year (1873), I was called upon to give a public course on Church history at Laval University. The subject was left to my choosing. Knowing from the experience I had acquired during my studies at the Roman College how useful it is to throw light on numerous historical questions debated in our times, and upon which so many clouds continue to hover; knowing, on the other hand, that the divine prerogatives of the primacy and the infallibility of the Sovereign Pontiffs have been and continue to be the object of the most violent attacks, I believed it necessary to choose this topic, to lay down the facts as clearly and as succinctly as possible, and to thereby show the fulfillment of Jesus Christ’s promises in the annals of history.

On the “heretical Pope” question…

White Smoke, Anti-Pope:
A Response to “Fr.” Brian Harrison

The Rev. Brian Harrison, O.S., is a former professor of theology of the so-called Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. Australian by birth, he is a convert to the Vatican II Sect from Presbyterianism (1972). Harrison belongs to the conservative/semi-traditionalist wing of the Novus Ordo Sect and has contributed to publications such as The Remnant, The Latin Mass, This Rock (now Catholic Answers Magazine), and Living Tradition, whose associate editor he is. One of the few clerics of the Modernist Sect who is willing to deal with traditionalist issues, Harrison is often tapped when the Novus Ordo Church needs someone to weigh in on traditionalist controversy, especially Sedevacantism.… READ MORE

A new heresy for an old heretic…

Francis’ Latest Heresy

We’re used to always hearing the same claptrap from Chaos Frank, but on June 7, 2017 he surprised the world with a new heresy — well, it was new for him anyway: In his catechesis for the General Audience, the papal pretender made the outrageous, blasphemous, and heretical claim that God has need of man, that God cannot be God without us.

Let’s have a look at Francis’ exact words, first in the original Italian:

Cari fratelli e sorelle, non siamo mai soli.

[UPDATE 09-FEB-17 18:27 UTC: Added/expanded commentary at end of post]

Whoever thought that we might get a break hearing from Francis for a day or two, is being proven wrong again today.

In the Feb. 9, 2017 edition of the Italian Corriere della Sera, Francis’ ideological twin, “Fr.” Antonio Spadaro, S.J., published today a long transcript of a question-and-answer session the “Pope” held on November 25, 2016, as part of a meeting with the superiors general of 140 male religious orders and congregations.… READ MORE

Semi-Trads hit new low…

Outrageous! Tradition in Action uses Masonic Source to implicate Pope Pius IX in Freemasonry

The web site Tradition in Action (TIA) is, for the most part, a pretty good resource exposing and refuting the errors of the Vatican II Sect. However, the editors of TIA are dyed-in-the-wool semi-traditionalists, that is, they oppose Sedevacantism and stubbornly adhere to the recognize-and-resist position instead, meaning they recognize Francis as Pope but also resist him because they realize he is an apostate who is trying to destroy Catholicism.

Thus, whenever TIA’s editors tackle anything related to the issue of Sedevacantism, all Catholicism goes out the window — and they end up spouting grave errors and scandalize their readers.… READ MORE

Resisting the Pope?
The Remnant and the Suppression of the Jesuits

In their desperate quest to find some historical precedent for acknowledging a blaspheming public apostate (“Pope” Francis) as the Vicar of Christ while at the same time resisting and contradicting the man’s every utterance, the semi-traditionalists at The Remnant have published a superficially-researched and sloppily-written blog post that turns out to be nothing more than yet another propaganda piece for their recognize-and-resist position.

We are talking about the blog post “Resisting Papal Errors: Another Historical Precedent for Cardinal Burke” by Chris Jackson (Jan.… READ MORE
