During Q&A with Colombian Jesuits…

Correctio Filialis: Francis weighs in (a little bit)!

The Vatican II Church has descended into a frenzy over the recently-released “Filial Correction” sent to Francis by 62 mostly obscure clerics and lay individuals. While we are still preparing a post with an assortment of various initial reactions to the Correctio Filialis, we interrupt our efforts here to share some breaking news with you: While on his “Apostolic Journey” to Colombia earlier this month (Sep. 6-10, 2017), Francis sat down with a number of the nation’s Jesuits for a spontaneous question-and-answer session in which he talked about many things, including existentialist ecclesiology claptrap and… criticism of his infernal exhortation “Amoris Laetitia”!READ MORE

Fake Pope decries Fake News:
A Critical Commentary

Jorge Mario Bergoglio (aka “Pope Francis”) has the uncanny gift of inserting himself into every possible problem arising among human beings, except into those that the job description of the office he claims to hold actually require him to.

Clarifying that adultery is still a mortal sin that bars one from Holy Communion? Silence. Oversight in liturgical translations? Decentralized. Teaching fundamental theology? Boring. Watching over the purity of the Faith? Not his problem. Yet for every opportunity to promote “integral human development”, for every political conference, for every mudslide in Cambodia, Francis has something to say.… READ MORE

Bergoglio has a “correction” to make…

“Pope” Francis wants to change the Our Father

[Update: You can also listen also to our mini podcast discussing this topic]

Ladies and gentlemen, we can all breathe easier now: After 2,000 years of Catholics praying the Lord’s Prayer incorrectly, Mr. Jorge Bergoglio (aka “Pope Francis”) has now come to deliver Christendom from a frightening “mistranslation” of the words revealed directly by the Lord Jesus Christ: The line in the Our Father that says “And lead us not into temptation” is a thorn in the side of the Jesuit apostate, since it insinuates, so he claims, that God would ever tempt His own children to sin, which is not something a father would do.… READ MORE

On a totally overrated article…

Antonio Spadaro and the “Ecumenism of Hate”

On July 13, 2017, the Rome-based Jesuit magazine La Civiltà Cattolica published an article entitled “Evangelical Fundamentalism and Catholic Integralism in the USA: A Surprising Ecumenism.” The authors of the piece are “Fr.” Antonio Spadaro, S.J., who is the periodical’s editor-in-chief, and the Protestant (!) Marcelo Figueroa, who, thanks to “Pope” Francis, is the editor-in-chief of the Argentine edition of the official Vatican newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano.

The article has gained much more attention than it actually deserves. It is a piece filled with half-truths and second-rate polemics, all wrapped in academic-sounding language to give it a veneer of respectability.… READ MORE

John Vennari has died

Long-time Editor of “Catholic Family News”

John Vennari has died

Mr. John Vennari (1958-2017)

Mr. John Vennari, the long-time editor of the recognize-and-resist flagship publication Catholic Family News, has died at the age of 59. This was reported by his family on Mr. Vennari’s Facebook page. The indult blog Rorate Caeli also posted a notification.

Vennari passed away on April 4, 2017, after a difficult battle with cancer, which had only been discovered about a year ago. He is survived by his wife Susan and their children.

Mr. Vennari’s death comes less than 2 years after the sudden passing of “Fr.”READ MORE

Muller’s Farewell Gift…

“Cardinal” Müller throws Monkey Wrench into SSPX-Rome Reconciliation: Vatican now demands Full Acceptance of Vatican II and Novus Ordo “Mass”

(photo credit: Andreas Arnold/dpa/Alamy Live News)

Although he has just been relieved from his post as Prefect of the Congregation for the Destruction of the Faith and the Ecclesia Dei Commission, “Cardinal” Gerhard Ludwig Muller was certainly still in charge back in May of this year, when, as it has just been made known, the then-head of the CDF called a plenary session of his congregation to discuss once more the doctrinal declaration the Society of St. Pius X will be required to sign as a condition for full reconciliation with the Novus Ordo Sect.… READ MORE

A devastating rebuttal…

Mullarkey’s Malarkey: Novus Ordo Blogger affirms “First Among Equals” Heresy

A lot of people these days rush to blog about Catholic theology despite not having much of a clue. (The anonymous Mundabor is a stellar example in this regard.) Instead of bothering to look up what the actual Catholic teaching is on this or that topic, people like to simply go by what seems right to them — which saves them hours of research but exposes their hapless readers to being misled on matters pertaining to their eternal salvation.

A recent example of this can be seen in the case of Maureen Mullarkey, formerly a writer for the Novus Ordo publication First Things.… READ MORE

Novus Ordo Watch in the Vatican

Vatican Prelate Gänswein is asked about a Novus Ordo Watch Post

You’ve probably heard of him before. He is Francis’ so-called “Prefect of the Papal Household”. He is Benedict XVI’s private secretary. He is constantly around either Francis or Benedict. In other words, he’s a really important chap in Vatican City. He hails from Freiburg, Germany. His name is “Archbishop” Georg Gänswein.

Like many other celebrities, Ganswein has a fan page on Facebook. This page is not maintained by him and not endorsed by him; it is simply a page about him and maintained by two of his devotees who refer to themselves by the names of “Pinky” and “Michele”.… READ MORE

“Cardinal” Müller Defends Amoris Laetitia:
A Critical Analysis

Today we can present you with another installment in the never-ending soap opera The Joy of Love, otherwise known as Amoris Laetitia.

“Cardinal” Gerhard Ludwig Muller, fired this past July from his job as top doctrine destroyer because he wasn’t heretical enough for Francis, has written an introduction to a work entitled Risposte Amichevoli ai Critici di Amoris Laetitia (“Friendly Answers to the Critics of Amoris Laetitia”), which is to hit the stores in Italy on November 10. The author of the book is Rocco Buttiglione, who once published a substantial guide to the philosophy and theology of “Pope” John Paul II.… READ MORE

Does Vatican I disprove Sedevacantism?

The “Perpetual Successors” Objection

After the objection that “you guys are just a bunch of Protestants!!”, probably the most frequently-made argument against Sedevacantism is that our position contradicts the teaching of the First Vatican Council that St. Peter will have “perpetual successors”. If there hasn’t been a true Pope in decades, how then can we maintain that there is a perpetual succession of Popes?

We have addressed this argument on this site before, but a dedicated post on the issue is in order.

Our response will be twofold. We will demonstrate that (1) the objection from perpetual successors is actually based on a misunderstanding of the teaching of Vatican I; (2) even if the objection were not based on a misunderstanding, it would still not refute the sedevacantist position.… READ MORE

More gems from Francis’ new book…

Francis Uncensored:

“The Communists are the Christians”, Refusing Communion to Adulterers is “Pharisaical”, “No War is Just”, and more!

When it rains, it pours.

Ladies and gentlemen, “Pope” Francis has struck again, and when he makes a mess, it’s a big one: As we reported in a separate post already, a whopping interview book of 423 pages is about to hit the shelves in France, entitled Pape François: Politique et Société (“Pope Francis: Politics and Society”). The work is an “unedited dialogue” between the French agnostic Dominique Wolton and the most talkative Jesuit on the planet, Jorge Bergoglio.… READ MORE

“Bishop” Peter Kohlgraf:
“We need to work on our View of Sin”

For over 30 years, the ancient German diocese of Mainz was occupied by the notorious Modernist “Cardinal” Karl Lehmann, a student of Karl Rahner and mentor of the heretical “Cardinal” Gerhard Ludwig Muller. When Lehmann reached the mandatory retirement age of 80 on May 16, 2016, it was clear that it would only be a matter of time before a successor would be chosen.

Almost a year later, on April 18, 2017, “Pope” Francis appointed “Fr.”… READ MORE
