The Fun Church strikes again!

“Fools’ Mass” in Aachen celebrates Joy of Carnival

One of these three is not a Novus Ordo priest…

It’s that time of the year again: While real Catholics observe the subdued pre-Lenten season of Septuagesima to prepare for the forty holy days of penance known as Lent, the Novus Ordo Sect rolls out its jolly “Fools’ Masses” (Narrenmessen) again, at least in Europe.

A new low has been reached in an abombinable spectable that just took place this past Sunday, Feb. 4, at St. Gangolf church in Heinsberg, Germany, part of the diocese of Aachen.… READ MORE

Archdiocese of Turin Organizes Lenten Retreat
to Teach “Fidelity” to Sodomite Couples

“Fr.” Gianluca Carrega

[UPDATE 06-FEB-2018 15:59 UTC: Diocese issues official statement, says retreat is in line with Amoris Laetitia but will be suspended for the time being]

Just as “Cardinal” Reinhard Marx of Munich, Germany, has gone on record advocating for a “blessing” ceremony for homosexual couples on a case-by-case basis, to be determined by the “priest or pastoral worker”, news is reaching us that the Novus Ordo Archdiocese of Turin, Italy, is organizing a Lenten retreat to teach “fidelity” to homosexual couples!… READ MORE

Omar Bello: Francis Plays Both Sides

In 2013, Argentinian philosopher Omar Bello (1964-2015) published an explosive book about Jorge Bergoglio, who at the time had just been elected “Pope” Francis. Entitled El Verdadero Francisco (“The Real Francis”), the book claims to present unknown facts about what kind of person the former “Archbishop” of Buenos Aires really is. The book’s subtitle reads in English: “The private life, psychology, secrets, and doubts of the Argentinian Pope. By the philosopher who knows him best.” What makes the work more interesting still is the fact that its author was a friend, not an enemy, of Francis.… READ MORE

The supernatural is overrated…

A Perfect Example of Naturalism: Francis reflects on Death without mentioning Judgment, Heaven, or Hell

The world was given a rather generous glimpse into the Naturalist mind of Jorge Bergoglio today as the man otherwise known as “Pope Francis” reflected on death during his daily homily.

As we have pointed out numerous times on this web site, Francis preaches what we call the “gospel of man”, a false gospel that focuses almost exclusively on the temporal, the mundane, the natural. His concern is always with this world: Whether it be helping the needy, eradicating poverty, improving education, combatting economic injustice, advocating for a “culture of encounter” or of “tenderness”, or improving working conditions for coal miners in Indonesia, the “Pope” is always there with his oh-so tender-hearted solicitude and unsolicited advice.… READ MORE

More free traditional Catholic radio!

More Catholic Content from True Restoration

Frequent visitors to Novus Ordo Watch will be familiar with the sedevacantist media apostolate True Restoration, which we link to and promote from time to time on this blog. True Restoration uses the media of print, video, radio, and in-person conferences to bring about a genuine restoration of all things in Christ. In the past we have occasionally sponsored sundry individual episodes as well as entire shows of their Restoration Radio program, allowing people to access this audio content entirely free of charge, without a paid subscription.

But it is now time to step our efforts up a bit.… READ MORE

Francis and the Idolatry of Conscience

We have long gotten used to the fact that “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) never denounces the grave sin of idolatry in its proper literal sense, such as is committed by Hindus and Voodooists, for example. On the contrary, he is very much enamored with Paganism and its “traditions.” He does, however, love to rail against metaphorical “idolatries”, such as what he calls the idolatry of money, of immanence, of ideas, of oneself, of space being greater than time, of false philanthropy, etc.… READ MORE

“Apostolic Constitution” Veritatis Gaudium
on Ecclesiastical Universities and Faculties

December 27, 2017

The Vatican has released yet another monster of a document: Veritatis Gaudium (“The Joy of Truth”). In its English version, the thing has 22,862 words in 56 pages. It contains four major sections that include a total of 70 articles, features two appendices, and has 113 footnotes.

Not surprisingly, this supposed “Apostolic Constitution” once again features a Latin word meaning “joy” in its title. This time, it’s gaudium again, a Novus Ordo favorite (think Gaudium et Spes and Evangelii Gaudium, for example, and John XXIII’s address that opened Vatican II, Gaudet Mater Ecclesia).

Message for World Communications Day

Fake Pope decries Fake News:
A Critical Commentary

Jorge Mario Bergoglio (aka “Pope Francis”) has the uncanny gift of inserting himself into every possible problem arising among human beings, except into those that the job description of the office he claims to hold actually require him to.

Clarifying that adultery is still a mortal sin that bars one from Holy Communion? Silence. Oversight in liturgical translations? Decentralized. Teaching fundamental theology? Boring. Watching over the purity of the Faith? Not his problem. Yet for every opportunity to promote “integral human development”, for every political conference, for every mudslide in Cambodia, Francis has something to say.… READ MORE

I can’t believe it’s not adultery…

Is it Adultery? In Portugal, YOU Decide!

Roughly two weeks ago, the Vatican’s no. 2 in command, Secretary of State “Cardinal” Pietro Parolin, stated that with Francis’ infernal exhortation Amoris Laetitia, there had been introduced a “paradigm shift”. Although he cleverly chose not to elaborate on this concept, we are beginning to see precisely that: a shift from objective moral norms to situation ethics, according to which each individual decides what is right and wrong for his particular “concrete” case.

No matter the verbal contortions and the lipservice being paid to objective morality, it is clear that a subjective, individualized pseudo-morality is precisely what is intended with Bergoglio’s paradigm shift.… READ MORE

Bergoglio’s Boss?
The Man whom the “Dictator Pope” obeys

In his recent blockbuster The Dictator Pope, pseudonymous author Marcantonio Colonna argues convincingly that behind the mask of the gentle, merciful, humble, and always-smiling “Pope” Francis, there is in fact a ruthless dictator who rules by fear, a man who is a “manipulative politician and a skilful self-presenter”, as the official book description puts it.

As he has demonstrated time and again, the oh-so-humble “Bishop of Rome” knows very well that he wields full power and authority over the entire Vatican II Sect, being answerable to no one. … READ MORE

The Ultramontanism Objection

Response to a misguided accusation…

The Ultramontanism Objection

We hear the accusations all the time: “Papolater!” – “Papal positivist!” – “Uber-Papalist!” – “Ultramontanist!” Among those who consider themselves traditional Catholics but accept Francis’ claim to being the Pope, the Catholic doctrine on the Papacy is not very popular, and it is easy to see why: Forcing Jorge Bergoglio through the template of the Papacy yields grotesque results.

Epithets like the ones mentioned are being hurled at us sedevacantists because we proclaim, as every Catholic did until the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958, that the teaching of the Roman Pontiff requires our submission — it is not subject to review, criticism, or validation by every Tom, Dick, and Harry who happens to have access to a copy of Denzinger and knows how to hit “publish” on a blogging platform.… READ MORE

Francis is currently aboard the “papal” airplane on his way to Chile and Peru, where he will spend a few days doing what he does best: talk, hug, and receive the adulation of the crowds.
