Yet, this adage, though not incorrect if interpreted strictly, is actually favorable to heresy, specifically the heresy of Modernism. This explains why it is an expression that only began to be used with the advent of the Modernist Vatican II religion and was virtually unknown among Catholics before the 1960s.

The apostate Jesuit Jorge Bergoglio — more commonly known by his stage name “Pope Francis” — caused a ruckus last week when he co-signed a document on “human fraternity” with Sunni Muslim Imam Ahamad Al-Tayyib declaring that God wills there to be a plurality and diversity of religions. “Pope” Francis is currently visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a very brief trip that will conclude tomorrow, Feb. 5. The main objective of the visit has been to attend an interreligious meeting on “human brotherhood” at The Founder’s Memorial in the capital of Abu Dhabi and sign a joint declaration with the Grand Imam there. Instead of remaining silently retreated in his little safe house in Vatican City, “hidden from the world”, as he had initially promised, Fr. Joseph Ratzinger — a.k.a. “Pope Emeritus” Benedict XVI — has once again inserted himself into the world of theological discourse. Although he speaks with much greater finesse and academic credibility than his boorish successor, the blasphemies he utters differ at best in degree, not in kind.

The German theological journal Herder Korrespondenz just released its December 2018 edition.
