Bergoglio Has Nothing to Lose …Like the Papacy, for Example
by Rev. Anthony Cekada
Never his anyway!
SINCE JORGE MARIO BERGOGLIO’S election in March 2013, I’ve heard from more and more traditional Catholics who are starting to wonder whether sedevacantism might now be the only coherent way to explain the state of affairs in the post-Vatican II church. As I noted in a post late last year:
“After all, how can you reconcile the countless outrageous public statements that Bergoglio has made (no Catholic God, who am I to judge, doctrinal security is not possible, proselytism is nonsense, etc.) with the claim that he is indeed the true Successor of Peter?
Jorge Bergoglio’s constant and excessive display of “I’m way too humble to be doing this the way my predecessors did” is getting old and annoying. But it is very interesting that his actions are basically screaming, “I am not the Pope!” Of course, even this isn’t enough for the anti-sedevacantist “recognize but resist” crowd, but apparently nothing will ever be. The following news article should be shocking to anyone who considers himself a traditional Catholic and believes Mr. Bergoglio to be the Pope of the Catholic Church:
@verbia @StefMNicholas @SimonMWReilly Daly is a sedevacantist, oh yes. The first edition of his book against Davies was published in 1989, and Davies refused to respond to it, even though some of his own friends were urging him to.
A spokesperson for The Catholic University of America told CNA that Msgr. Walter Rossi has taken a leave of absence from the university's board of trustees while he is the subject of a canonical investigation. https://t.co/I8lEIMrqAW
Because the slaughtering of the preborn for the ‘crime’ of existing is just like the state authority executing Ted Bundy for serial murder after due process of law…. Absolutely sickening, such “priests”! #catholic #prolife
