This morning, the ‘Holy See’ held a press conference regarding restoration work to be done on the Baldacchino over the high altar at St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City.

Since ‘Cardinal’ Mauro Gambetti, the Archpriest of St. Peter’s, was among the panelists, journalist Franca Giansoldati of Il Messaggero used the opportunity to ask him whether, in light of the authorization given by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith in the declaration Fiducia Supplicans, couples in perverted sexual unions ‘irregular unions’ could receive a blessing also in the famous papal basilica.… READ MORE

Vatican’s Human Fraternity Extravaganza ‘Not Alone’ Flops as No One Shows Up

Getting a front-row seat wasn’t terribly difficult…

Imagine it’s the first-ever World Meeting on Human Fraternity and nobody cares.

That is exactly what happened on Saturday, June 10, in Rome. Under the ironic motto #NotAlone, the event’s organizers and contributors found themselves very much alone as they put on a nearly 5-hour long spectacle in St. Peter’s Square that almost nobody cared to attend.
