Vatican’s Interfaith Chief: We are all “Pilgrims Searching for the Truth” – it’s good to know that the Vatican’s highest interreligious boss – below Francis himself – believes his own church is still looking for the truth, because that’s an admission it’s not the Roman Catholic Church, which herself is “the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). Commenting on this passage, the Holy Office of Pope Pius IX asks rhetorically, “But how would the Church be the ground of truth, if she did not pursue the truth without danger?” Moreover, the True Church’s teaching authority reminds us that Christ “promised His Presence would never leave the magisterium, and the Holy Ghost would thoroughly instruct it about every truth” (Letter Ad Quosdam Puseistas, Nov. 8, 1865). Thank you, “Cardinal” Tauran, for once again reminding people that your church is not the Roman Catholic Church.

@Chris_RoyMtl I’m showing that Hunwicke’s argument is unsustainable because self-contradictory. I’m not saying he shouldn’t criticize Francis, I’m saying he should stop accepting him as Pope. Because to accept him as Pope, he has to distort the Catholic teaching on the Papacy.
Myanmar Church invites all religions to national prayer campaign - It would never occur to them to encourage others to become Catholic and so to be pleasing to God and beg for His mercy. Instead they want “compassion [to] become the common religion”!
Recognize-and-resisters have no problem declaring papal decrees null & void and telling others to reject it; but when they’re asked to recognize that a public apostate who does things a Pope cannot do, cannot be a true Pope, they suddenly find they have no authority to say that.
So ‘Fr.’ Hunwicke thinks that he can refuse submission to the Pope if what he legislates is contrary (in his estimation) to Sacred Tradition, which trumps all. It’s just too bad that the necessity of submission to the Pope is *part* of that very Sacred Tradition.
