Robert Prevost visits Algeria…
Leo XIV in Algiers: Mosques a ‘Divine, Sacred Space’ in which People Pray to Find Presence of God in Their Lives

The false gospel of human-fraternity-because-it’s-all-the-same-God-anyway is once again rearing its ugly head. Although he has much better taste and style than ‘Pope’ Francis ever did, the equally-fake ‘Pope’ Leo XIV — more properly referred to as Bob Prevost from Chicago — is no different from his immediate predecessor in terms of doctrinal substance.
Prevost is currently visiting Algeria as part of an 11-day tour of various African nations.
Yesterday, Apr. 13, Leo XIV visited he largest mosque in Africa, the third largest in the world, the so-called Great Mosque of Algiers. Having taken his shoes off in obedience to the Muslim custom, he silently walked around with his infidel host, rector Mohamed Mamoun Al Qasimi.
After the brief tour, Leo and Al Qasimi exchanged some words of welcome. This is where the ‘Pope’ dropped a bomb or two:
Thank you for this reflection and for these words, which are so important during this visit, from a place that represents the space that is of God; a divine, sacred space where so many people come to pray in order to find the presence of the Most High, of God, in their lives.
…
This afternoon I pray for you, for the people of Algeria, and for all the peoples of the earth, that the peace and justice of the Kingdom of God may also be present among us. And may all of us be even more convinced of the need to be promoters of peace, reconciliation, forgiveness and of what God truly wills for all his creation.
(Antipope Leo XIV, Remarks at the Visit to the Grand Mosque of Algiers, Vatican.va, Apr. 13, 2026; underlining added.)
Yes, Leo XIV really said these words.
While one can quibble, in Pharisaical style, about the exact meaning and implications of each word he uttered — we might see the return of Jimmy Akin for this one! — it is clear what Leo has actually communicated here, namely: Mosques are spaces of God, divine and sacred; the presence of God can be found there; Islam is not a hindrance to the Kingdom of God but can be utilized to bring it about or at least to live in harmony with it.
That is what the vast majority of people will take from his words, regardless of whether one can technically parse them a little differently. For example, strictly speaking, Leo didn’t say that the presence of God is found in mosques; he merely said that people go there to pray so as to find the presence of God in their lives. But such fine distinctions, as Leo surely knows, will go under in the headlines and the news reporting, and for this one cannot fault the media. No, any inaccurate reporting is clearly intended. Speaking with a forked tongue so as to retain a little bit of plausible deniability while at the same time communicating the intended heresy is a hallmark of the false popes of the Vatican II Church.

Under Leo XIV, just as under Francis, the Vatican II Sect continues its program of apostasy. Slowly but surely, the envelope gets pushed further and further, until there is no distinction left between true religion and false religion whatsoever — and everything becomes just a matter of the ‘children of God’ following their respective religious ‘traditions’, all of which lead to the same God.
Hence Leo didn’t speak of Christ, nor of the Holy Trinity, but merely of “the Most High” and “God” — sufficiently generic terms to be acceptable to the unbelieving Moslems.
“And every spirit that dissolveth Jesus, is not of God: and this is Antichrist, of whom you have heard that he cometh, and he is now already in the world” (1 Jn 4:3).
