Great news, everyone! We have published another full-length episode of our popular TRADCAST podcast program. As always, it is loaded with real traditional Catholicism, insightful commentary, hard-hitting refutations of various errors, and razor-sharp analysis. Our content is typically challenging but is always delivered in an accessible way — and with an occasional relieving touch of humor, so necessary in our chaotic and bizarre times.
The first segment of TRADCAST 037 begins with an analysis of the ‘signs of the times’ — a Gospel concept hijacked by the Novus Ordo magisterium for the sake of introducing endless novelty. We then consider various news stories: the recent excommunication of a Novus Ordo priest in Italy who said in a sermon that Francis is a usurper antipope and Freemason; the case of the retired Brazilian Novus Ordo bishop who says all religions are expressions of God, and all religions seek to spread goodness. We use the occasion to recall the Naturalist plot against the Papacy condemned by Popes in the 19th century and then turn to a sermon given by ‘Cardinal’ Charles Bo of Myanmar, who wants to ‘save humanity’ and bring about ‘heaven on earth’.
We start off the second portion of TRADCAST 037 with a fun multiple-choice ‘fill in the blanks’ quiz asking listeners to guess: What did Francis really say? After this lighthearted game we get serious again as we try to understand the bizarre ecclesiology of Michael J. Matt of The Remnant — and refute the ‘human elements’ excuse. Lastly, we listen to a brief excerpt taken from the Catholic Answers Focus podcast as Jimmy Akin and Cy Kellett have a blast referring to Our Blessed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as ‘dude.’
