Say sodomitical relationships “can be a source of peace and shared happiness”…
Flemish Novus Ordo Bishops authorize Liturgy of Blessing for Same-Sex Couples
“Cardinal” Jozef de Kesel, promoted by Francis, is the leading culprit behind this abominable sacrilege
The Novus Ordo bishops of Flanders, a Dutch-speaking region in northern Belgium, have concocted a little liturgical rite for the blessing of sodomite couples.
On Tuesday, Sep. 20, 2022, the Belgian Bishops’ Conference, led by “Cardinal” Jozef de Kesel (b. 1947), the archlayman of Malines-Brussels, published a press release announcing the creation of a diocesan point of contact called “Homosexuality and Faith”:
- “Oprichting aanspreekpunt ‘Homoseksualiteit & geloof’ binnen Vlaamse katholieke Kerk” (“Creation of Contact Point ‘Homosexuality & Faith’ within Flemish Catholic Church”)
The newly-instituted department is marketed as an outreach division for “the pastoral care and guidance of homosexual persons within the Flemish Catholic Church.” In reality its intent is to normalize, support, and celebrate sexual perversion, as is very evident from the document appended to the press release, in which the “mission” of this new contact point is formulated and even a liturgical rite blessing their sin is included.
The document is available in Dutch and in English here:
- Dutch original: “Homoseksuele personen pastoraal nabij zijn: Voor een gastvrije Kerk, die niemand uitsluit”
- English translation (by Diane Montagna): “Being pastorally close to homosexuals: For a welcoming Church that excludes no one” : PAGE 1 | PAGE 2
In the document the “Catholic bishops” of Flanders are not ashamed, nor afraid, to endorse prayers “to ask God to bless and perpetuate this commitment of love and fidelity” on the part of sodomite couples. The blasphemy is staggering, but these false shepherds have no fear of God! “Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (Is 5:20).
To be clear: When we say “sodomite couples”, we are talking about people of the same sex who have joined in an intimate relationship in which they habitually misuse their reproductive organs in such a disgusting and abominable way that it cries to Heaven for vengeance: “And the Lord said: The cry of Sodom and Gomorrha is multiplied, and their sin is become exceedingly grievous” (Gen 18:20). In the Old Testament, God rained fire and brimstone from the skies to punish the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, which were infested with this vice (hence the name “sodomy” and “sodomite”).
But never mind. The Novus Ordo Church has been working feverishly to whitewash the sin of sodomy and, if not repented of, its eternal consequences. But “God is not mocked” (Gal 6:7).
The news out of Belgium is explosive. Numerous web sites and blogs have reported on this frightful scandal already:
- Flemish bishops first in the world to give green light to church blessing of gay couples and issue specific prayers (Catholic Conclave)
- Belgian Cardinal and Bishops Approve Liturgy for “Same-Sex Unions” (Rorate Caeli)
- Flemish Bishops allow gay couples blessing applying Amoris Laetitia (Daily Compass)
- Belgian bishops devise liturgy to bless same-sex couples (La Croix International)
- Head of new Flemish LGBT ministry confident it’s ‘in the spirit of our pope’ (Crux)
Predictably, the perverted Flemish pseudo-bishops — aside from De Kesel, they are Johan Bonny of Antwerp, Lodewijk Aerts of Bruges, Lode Van Hecke of Ghent, and Patrick Hoogmartens of Hasselt — appeal to Francis’ infernal 2016 exhortation Amoris Laetitia in support of their nefarious undertaking, inasmuch as that “papal” document calls for those in “irregular situations” to be “accompanied” and “integrated” into church life, with plenty of “discernment” as to what to do in particular situations:
“In Amoris Laetitia, Pope Francis explicitly states that every person, regardless of their sexual orientation, should be respected in their dignity and treated with respect (AL 250). We want to continue on that path by giving this pastoral a more structural character”, the false shepherds assert.
Not surprisingly, it is also specifically the blasphemous paragraph 303 in Amoris Laetitia that these Novus Ordo bishops cite in support of their wickedness:
Pope Francis calls for people’s conscience to be valued and supported, even in life situations that do not fully live up to the objective ideal of marriage: Conscience can earnestly and honestly recognize this which is now the generous response one can give to God, and it can see with some certainty that this response is the self-giving that God asks for amid the complexity of concrete constraints, even when the full objective ideal is not achieved (AL 303).
Yes, the unnatural vice of sodomy, if only it is practiced continually with one and the same partner and as part of a “stable” relationship, is being described there as one of several “life situations that do not fully live up to the objective ideal of marriage”. That is one way to put it — akin to admitting that surgically dismembering a child in the womb is not the most perfect way to practice prenatal care.
The blasphemous bishops’ document also outrageously states that whereas some homosexuals are celibate, “[o]thers choose to live as a couple, in lasting and faithful union with a partner. They too deserve our appreciation and support. For this relationship too, though not a church marriage, can be a source of peace and shared happiness for those involved.” Words fail at the brazenness of these spiritual criminals!
To get this oh-so “pastoral” outreach going and maintained in accordance with its immoral purpose, a certain Mr. Willy Bombeek has been appointed as the inter-diocesan coordinator for it. The choice of Bombeek only makes sense, considering he too suffers from aberrosexual proclivities, as he now states openly:
‘I myself am gay and religious, or religious and gay, the order does not matter,’ he says.
Bombeek was a spokesman for Catholic education in Flanders for 16 years.
‘I was always very discreet about my homosexuality there because I worked in a Catholic organisation. I was also part of a Christian think tank called Logia. Two years ago, we were invited as a group to Pope Francis and he called us to pay attention to those on the fringes. This made me start thinking about my own situation. My friends knew I was gay and also religious and connected to the church. But at my work, people actually didn’t know. But my gay friends asked me if I didn’t know a pastor who could bless their relationship. So I thought: I have to do something with this.
That is what got the whole “Homosexuality and Faith Contact Point” started, for which the Flemish “bishops” have now devised a sacrilegious and blasphemous liturgy.
The following is a translation by Virginia M. Forrester of the liturgical rite — they call it a “moment of prayer” — as suggested and authorized by these bogus Belgian bishops. It is prefaced by some explanatory comments:
Prayer for Love and Fidelity
During pastoral meetings, a moment of prayer is usually requested to ask God to bless and perpetuate this commitment of love and fidelity. The content and the form that this Prayer can adopt specifically is best discussed with those involved with a pastoral leader. That moment of prayer can take place with all simplicity. The difference must also be made clear, with which the Church understands sacramental marriage. For example, this moment of prayer could unfold in the following way:
o Opening Word
o Opening Prayer
o Scripture Reading or Commitment of the Two People Involved.
Together they express before God their commitment to one another. For example:
“God of love and fidelity, we are before You today surrounded by family members and friends. We thank you that we were able to meet. We want to be there for others in all life’s circumstances. We express here with confidence that we want to work for the happiness of the other day by day. We ask You: give us strength to be faithful to one another and to deepen our commitment. We trust in Your closeness, we want to live of your Word, given to the good.
o Prayer of the Community
The community prays for the grace of God to act in them to take care of each other and the larger community in which they live. For example:
God and Father, we surround N. and N. with our prayer. You know their hearts and the path they will undertake henceforth. Make their commitment to the other strong and faithful. May their home be full of understanding, tolerance and care. May there be room for reconciliation and peace. May the love they share bring joy and service in our community. Give us the strength to follow the path with them, together in the footsteps of your Son and strengthened by your Spirit.
o Intercessions
o Our Father
o Final Prayer
o Wishing Blessings

Since, per the authorized prayer above, the sodomite couple expresses (no doubt sincerely) the wish “to live of your Word”, we have a suggestion for what the Scripture reading could be.
We recommend the following passage from St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans:
For this cause God delivered them up to shameful affections. For their women have changed the natural use into that use which is against nature. And, in like manner, the men also, leaving the natural use of the women, have burned in their lusts one towards another, men with men working that which is filthy, and receiving in themselves the recompense which was due to their error. And as they liked not to have God in their knowledge, God delivered them up to a reprobate sense, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all iniquity, malice, fornication, avarice, wickedness, full of envy, murder, contention, deceit, malignity, whisperers, detractors, hateful to God, contumelious, proud, haughty, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Foolish, dissolute, without affection, without fidelity, without mercy. Who, having known the justice of God, did not understand that they who do such things, are worthy of death; and not only they that do them, but they also that consent to them that do them.
(Romans 1:26-32)
Alas, we suspect that this passage will not be selected by most. It’s just so negative — not affirming enough of that “commitment.”
In any case, the news of this liturgical rite in Flanders will surely please “Cardinal” Christoph Schönborn of Vienna, Austria, one of the main authors of the Novus Ordo Catechism. In 2021, “His Eminence” revealed in the archdiocesan newspaper that he believes that homosexual couples should receive a blessing from the Church if they seek it “sincerely”:
Moreover, in his own cathedral homo couples have received blessings for years — on St. Valentine’s Day, when the presbyter in charge of his cathedral annually blesses any and all couples “who love”.
On the other end of the Vatican II Church spectrum, “Abp.” Carlo Maria Viganò, still in hiding, has weighed in and condemned the Flemish initiative in no uncertain terms:
- Abp. Viganò: Belgian bishops are rejecting the Catholic Faith with homosexual ‘blessings’ (Life Site)
Interestingly enough, these fake “Catholic bishops” from northern Belgium have decided to publish their sacrilegious pseudo-liturgy just a few days before they are scheduled to have their quinquennial ad limina visit with Jorge Bergoglio (“Pope Francis”). How will he react? How will the Vatican?
Officially, the Novus Ordo Sect has condemned the blessing of sodomite couples. In 2021, “Cardinal” Luis Ladaria, the prefect of the then-so-called Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, released a statement to that effect. But Francis wouldn’t be Francis if he hadn’t already found a way to send mixed signals even on that issue. He had Juan Carlos Cruz tell the world that he is “very hurt by what has happened”, namely — so Francis reportedly told Cruz — that he was tricked into authorizing the CDF statement against homo blessings. Likely story!
It remains to be seen how the false pope, who is on record saying that sins of the flesh are “the least serious sins”, will act in response to this. In an interview with Crux, Bombeek underscores his belief that this new ministry is “in the spirit of our pope”, and there is no question he is right. We know where Bergoglio stands — he has made that abundantly clear over and over again — but, as we have learned throughout the last 9+ years, that is not necessarily an indication of what he will say or do.
Presumably, Francis will take no action for the time being. Eventually, though, someone will ask him about this publicly during an interview or at a press conference, and then it’s anyone’s guess as to what he will say, but presumably with some non-committal or ambiguous answer that can be taken in one way or another. Of course he is also very good at saying or hinting one thing and doing another.
At the same time, it is also quite possible that Francis will use this incident in Belgium to play tough conservative and crack down on the Flemish homophiles. This would score him some much-needed brownie points with the more conservative-minded members of his sect, to help keep them in the game: Three steps forward, one step back. That still nets a total of two steps forward.
Bergoglio’s farcical “accompaniment” is not a matter of gradually and compassionately leading the sinner onto the way of salvation, which is the royal and difficult road of the Cross, which alone leads to eternal life (cf. Lk 14:27). Rather, it supports, comforts, and encourages the sinner in his sins as he journeys merrily towards hell. Bergoglian accompaniment is therefore the exact opposite of being charitable or kind to the sinner — under the guise of compassion, it actually despises him, mutilates him, and hurls him to eternal ruin, casting him “into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Mt 13:42).
Only a monster could want that for any soul redeemed by the Precious Blood of Christ.
