The Apostasy Advances:
“Cardinal” Tauran at Hindu Temple

[We are indebted to Tradition in Action for this story.]

The apostasy of the Vatican II Sect advances with ever greater and more alarming speed. “Cardinal” Jean-Louis Pierre Tauran is the current President of the so-called Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, having been appointed to this post by “Pope” Benedict XVI in 2007. He is incidentally also the very same individual who introduced Jorge Bergoglio as “Pope Francis” to the world on that fateful day of March 13, 2013.

On June 13, 2013, “His Eminence” visited a Hindu temple in London, where he paid homage and gave credence to the false religion of Hinduism and its idols. Video footage of the event can be watched here:

More information on this abominable spectacle, so odious in the sight of God, can be found in the Tradition in Action post here. The foul nature of this idolatry can be further ascertained by looking at what Hindus actually believe and do, such as the worship of genitalia (see Wojtyla Gets a Third Eye).

We recall that the “interreligious dialogue” by the Vatican II Sect specifically does not aim at the conversion of these Pagans to the Catholic Faith, as Benedict XVI pointed out:

1. Dialogue does not aim at conversion, but at understanding. In this respect it differs from evangelization, from mission;

2. Accordingly, both parties to the dialogue remain consciously within their identity, which the dialogue does not place in question either for themselves or for the other.

(Antipope Benedict XVI, Christmas Address to the Roman Curia, 2012)

In the same address, Benedict tries to soften this obvious departure from Catholicism a bit by stating that “the search for knowledge and understanding always has to involve drawing closer to the truth”, while also asserting that “we do not possess the truth” but rather it “possesses us” — all wonderfully vague and ambiguous statements that simply serve to make the apostasy more palatable to those who might still have objections. After all, he could have said simply and plainly that interreligious dialogue must at all times seek the conversion of the non-Catholic party to the true Faith, the true Church, an intention without which any dialogue becomes useless and dangerous. (By contrast, see how Pope Pius XII specified that any theological discussions with Protestants must explicitly seek their conversion to the True Faith.)

Instead, the Modernist Gang at the Vatican speaks nebulously about some common “search for truth” and “oneness of truth” and all that, which, however, at no time has as its clearly intended goal the Pagans’ renunciation of their errors, the cessation of their worship of idols, and their full conversion to the holy Catholic Faith and their reception of baptism, which, incidentally, is the very mission of the Catholic Church: “And he said to them: Go ye into the whole world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved: but he that believeth not shall be condemned” (Mark 16:15-16).

It will not do to point out that Ratzinger stated that the conversion of the other is sought in “evangelization” and “mission”, for: Where are the missions to the Protestants? The Eastern Orthodox? The Jews? The Muslims? The Pagans? Where are they? Where are they taught that they must abandon their false religions if they wish to be saved?

See the great contrast between the Modernist Novus Ordo Church and the true Catholic position by pondering the words of the great missionary St. Francis Xavier. After having converted idol-worshippers to the True Faith, he says:

After their baptism the new Christians go back to their houses and bring me their wives and families for baptism. When all are baptized I order all the temples of their false gods to be destroyed and all the idols to be broken in pieces. I can give you no idea of the joy I feel in seeing this done, witnessing the destruction of the idols by the very people who but lately adored them.

(Lives of the Saints, Dec. 3: “St. Francis Xavier”)

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the true “joy” of the Gospel, a genuine Evangelii gaudium! We wish good luck to anyone attempting a “hermeneutic of continuity” between St. Francis Xavier and Jorge Bergoglio.

Consider also the following passage by Pope Pius XII in his encyclical on St. Benedict:

Trusting in God and relying on His ever present help, [St. Benedict] went south and arrived at a fort “called Cassino situated on the side of a high mountain…; on this stood an old temple where Apollo was worshipped by the foolish country people, according to the custom of the ancient heathens. Around it likewise grew groves, in which even till that time the mad multitude of infidels used to offer their idolatrous sacrifices. The man of God coming to that place broke the idol, overthrew the altar, burned the groves, and of the temple of Apollo made a chapel of St. Martin. Where the profane altar had stood he built a chapel of St. John; and by continual preaching he converted many of the people thereabout”.

(Pope Pius XII, Encyclical Fulgens Radiatur, par. 11)

Now that’s a “Reading Francis through Benedict” we’d like to see “Fr.” Zuhlsdorf pull off! The heretical and soul-destroying nature of the Vatican II Sect’s interreligious escapades is entirely evident whenever it is contrasted with rock-solid, traditional Catholic teaching.

The following quotes from Holy Scripture should also serve to remind us that God is a jealous God, who will not tolerate that the creature be worshipped in His place:

  • “For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens.” (Ps 95:5)
  • “Adore not any strange god. The Lord his name is Jealous, he is a jealous God.” (Ex 34:14)
  • “Turn ye not to idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods. I am the Lord your God.” (Lev 19:4)
  • “I will destroy your high places, and break your idols. You shall fall among the ruins of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.” (Lev 26:30)
  • “Thou shalt not have strange gods in my sight.” (Deut 5:7)
  • “Overthrow their altars, and break down their statues, burn their groves with fire, and break their idols in pieces: destroy their names out of those places.” (Deut 12:3)
  • God is a spirit; and they that adore him, must adore him in spirit and in truth.” (Jn 4:24)

Besides, we all remember what happened to the Old Covenant Israelites and Jews whenever they abandoned the True God and began adoring idols.

The interreligious apostasy of the Novus Ordo Sect is not new, of course, having been around since Vatican II. Some of the essays below give more information about the particularly egregious scandals of John Paul II in this regard.

One reason often offered to justify this interreligious dialogue is the advancement of world peace. Yet, people who argue thus are entirely ignorant of the true Catholic position, enunciated beautifully by Popes Benedict XV and Pius XI, which insists that the only true peace is the peace of Christ, which this world cannot give: “the peace of Christ … is the only true peace” (Pius XI, Encyclical Ubi Arcano, n. 36). Our Blessed Lord said so Himself: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you” (Jn 14:27).

Finally, we offer a sobering reality check from the Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Can you picture any of these Modernist big shots reciting it aloud in the presence of their Pagan partners in dialogue? No? What does that tell you?

Reality Check:

“Be Thou King of all those who are still involved in the darkness of idolatry or of Islamism, and refuse not to draw them into the light and kingdom of God.” Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus
