No Joke: Francis Wears Clown Nose

To be clear: This is not a doctored or spoofed image. It is not manipulated in any way. Rather, this is “Pope” Francis — whom we’ve appropriately nicknamed “Chaos Frank” — at his Wednesday audience on November 6, 2013. The photo was posted by Rocco Palmo at Whispers in the Loggia, where you can also read a little bit of the background. This is the same “Holy Father,” by the way, who put a beach ball and a sports jersey on the altar of St. Mary Major, right next to the Tabernacle, upon his return from the Copacabana in July.
