Leo XIV Prays Before Horrid Crucifix Condemned by Pope Benedict XV

This past Saturday, on Aug. 22, 2026, the Rev. Robert Prevost — more commonly known by his stage name ‘Pope Leo XIV’ — went on a ‘pastoral visit’ to the Republic of San Marino and to the Italian city of Rimini. The occasion for the trip was the so-called ‘Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples’, a ‘Catholic’ event sponsored annually by the Communion and Liberation movement.
