The tyranny “Pope” Francis has unleashed upon the vigorous and growing order of the Franciscans of the Immaculate (who adopt the so-called “indult” position of trying to be traditional Catholics yet only with the “permission” of the Modernist hierarchy, to which they submit), whose only “crime” has been to prefer the pre-Vatican II liturgical books to those of the Novus Ordo, is coming to a head.
In a five-page letter [available in PDF here] dated Dec. 8, 2013, the “Apostolic Commissioner” appointed by Francis, the Modernist “Fr.” Fidenzio Volpi, OFM Cap., after having shut down the order’s seminary, makes the following demands of the Franciscan Friars:
- Seminarians studying philosophy are to move to the motherhouse and wait for the commissioner to grant each of them permission to continue their studies; those studying theology are to move to the monastery in Rome, under “Fr.” Alfonso Bruno, as long as they receive permission from the commissioner to continue their studies
- No ordinations are to be conferred for one full year, until Dec. 8, 2014
- In order to be allowed to continue in the order, each member is to sign a written declaration of submission that explicitly accepts the Novus Ordo Missae (“New Mass”) of Paul VI and the Second Vatican Council – something historian Roberto de Mattei has called the “Oath For Modernism” [cf. Oath Against Modernism of Pope St. Pius X, 1910]
- The Franciscans of the Immaculate’s tertiaries (TOFI) and the lay Mission of the Immaculate Mediatrix (MIM) are “formally suspended” until they submit an express declaration of submission
- A financial commission is to be established to assist the administrator
- Regarding the order’s internal publishing house, which is operated by the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate, over whom Volpi has no authority, he decreed: (a) the friars are not to collaborate with the sisters in the running of the publishing house or the publications in any way; (b) any of their publications are no longer allowed to be sold or distributed at churches or chapels

It is obvious that the Vatican, headed by Francis, is quite capable of taking serious and far-reaching action if so desired. Yet, it is equally obvious that virtually the only time they take drastic measures is when it comes to fighting traditional Catholicism in any and all of its manifestations, as far as lies in their power.
Meanwhile, Church historian Prof. Roberto de Mattei has had enough of the tyranny wielded against the pious Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate and has put together a petition to the Modernist Vatican’s Congregation of Religious and “Pope” Francis to get “Fr.” Volpi removed:

One curious tidbit: The name “Volpi” is Italian and means “Fox.” How much more obvious can it get that the fox is in charge of the henhouse?
