First-Ever Novus Ordo Baptismal Certificate issued naming “Mother 1” and “Mother 2” as Child’s Parents

The archdiocese of Medellín, Colombia, is the latest in which has taken place the solemn baptism of a child whose legally recognized “parents” are two lesbian women who are “married” to each other. The scandal occurred this past weekend, and the regional media are all over it, celebrating this as a victory for the perverted LGBT movement.

As the story is just breaking, only reports in Spanish have been released so far:

The child’s name is Matías, a little boy of 17 months. Manuela Gomez is his biological mother, who had “wedded” her girlfriend Luisa two years ago in what is taken for a legal marriage in Colombia.

Several baptisms in such or similar circumstances have occured in the Modernist Sect in the recent past, including the following:

Call it the Francis Effect. After all, who is he to judge?

So there’s been another infant baptism involving the hapless child of a lesbian couple. The lukewarm, the indifferent, and the resigned will ask: What else is new?

Well, read on because it gets worse from here.

According to the report by Noticias Florencia, the pervert couple had to go church shopping to have their wish. Not to have the boy baptized, mind you — every Novus Ordo parish they approached was willing to do that — but to have both women entered into the baptismal register as being the boy’s parents. They had insisted on that because they want to teach little Matias “equality, fairness, and respect”, and by that they mean no “prejudice” or “discrimination” against anyone. In fact, the report by BLU Radio quotes Manuela as saying that she will be teaching her son that two women with a child is a perfectly normal family.

In other words: Manuela and Luisa have openly admitted that they will raise the child to accept the homosexual ideology and thus not raise him in the Catholic religion (not even the Novus Ordo counterfeit). That’s hardly surprising, of course, but the point is that the prospect of being raised Catholic is an essential prerequisite for getting any child baptized and is the reason why it is forbidden for Catholics to baptize the children of unbelievers.

No mention is made anywhere of the father of the little boy — but obviously he has one, and he does not have two mothers as is being pretended. Manuela’s pregnancy came about through the grave moral crime of artificial insemination, so the father is unknown. This means that this innocent little child is being denied one of his true parents, and instead a same-sex counterfeit is imposed on him.

The poor boy will never know what it is like to have a father — his own, real father — simply because his mother prefers to live according to her own wicked desires instead of according to the natural law given by the God she claims to believe in. She loves herself more than her son and thus is perfectly content to subject him to the consequences of her immorality.

But what is even worse than all this is that the Novus Ordo Sect — which, we must not forget, is taken for the Catholic Church by almost everyone — has given its official sanction to the perverted wickedness, not simply by baptizing the child but, much more so, by registering both women as the boy’s parents! It is a crime so monstrous it defies description!

How is it that one parish was willing to accept both women as the parents whereas the others weren’t? Quite simply, Luisa and Manuela found one pastor who was willing to hide behind the sophistical argument of “official records”: Since the official birth certificate issued by the secular authority named both women as the legitimate parents of little Matias — referred to as “Mother 1” and “Mother 2” — he took this as the excuse needed to accept them both as the legitimate parents and entering them as such into the baptismal register.

This way of acting has apparently been approved by the Novus Ordo archdiocese. As can be seen in some of the videos above, this whole matter is being defended by “Fr.” Juan Diego Ruiz, who is an official of the archdiocese and presumably speaking on its behalf. The pretend-Archbishop of Medellin, by the way, is Mr. Ricardo Restrepo, appointed to his current post by “Pope” Benedict XVI.

Some people may try to minimize this abomination and think that the “Mother 1” and “Mother 2” references are just a matter of a piece of paper virtually no one will ever see again, but this is not so: Having once officially accepted both women as the “mothers” of Matias, the parish and the diocese have maneuvered themselves into a corner from which there is no escape. Both Manuela and Luisa will appear with the boy at church, at parish activities, at catechism, present him for First “Communion” and “Confirmation”, and so on. That baptismal certificate mentioning them both as Matias’ parents is the foot in the door they needed and wanted, and the rest will simply follow. In short: The travesty is just beginning!

The fact that there have been multiple stories in the past few years about the children of homosexuals getting baptized shows that under Francis, this practice is gradually becoming perfectly normal. At no point, to our knowledge, has the Modernist Vatican ever intervened to punish or even so much as criticize these occurrences. On the contrary, the “Pope” has emphasized on several occasions that he wishes to see no baptism refused. That baptismal certificates would eventually adopt the information given in birth certificates, no matter how absurd, was only a matter of time.

Thus we are witnessing the gradual official acceptance of sexual perversion by the Vatican II Sect. Keep in mind that for Modernists, man’s lived experience is a source of revelation, and the LGBT-happy “Pope” will be thrilled to draw the desired conclusions when the appropriate time comes — if the people themselves don’t do it before then, as is clearly happening already. It’s called “accompaniment”, and it’s fully in line with Amoris Laetitia, Francis’ infernal exhortation for “irregular” couples. (Wait till James Martin discovers that “nobody is irregular”!)

While many people think that all are welcome in the Catholic Church, the fact is quite simply that this is not so. No, not all are welcome, at least not welcome “as they are.” Rather, only those are welcome who are willing to practice Catholicism. In other words, all are welcome to become and remain Catholics, but everyone else is not welcome. That is the teaching of the Church’s Lord and Founder, Jesus Christ, who stated plainly: “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” (Mt 16:24); “And whosoever doth not carry his cross and come after me, cannot be my disciple” (Lk 14:27).

The Good News the true Catholic Church will not cease to preach until the end of time is likewise not one of making sinners comfortable but rather: “Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38).
