‘Clear Fraud’: Ohio Coroners’ Association Agrees Sister Lucy of Fatima Replaced by Impostor
On May 9, 2025, Dr. Peter Chojnowski of Sister Lucy Truth gave a presentation at the annual conference of the Ohio Coroners’ Association in Columbus, Ohio, regarding the main findings of the Sister Lucy Truth project.
Over 100 physicians and scientists in attendance got to see the scientific evidence and expert testimony for the thesis that the Fatima visionary Lucia dos Santos was replaced by another woman, an impostor, in the 1960s.

On Twitter, Dr. Chojnowski posted a scanned copy of the thank-you letter he’d received from Dr. Jeff Beery, coroner of Highland County (providentially, it is dated May 13, the date of the first apparition of Our Lady in 1917). The main text is as follows (slightly edited for proper punctuation):
Dear Dr. Chojnowski:
Thank you for traveling to Columbus, Ohio, this past week to address the Ohio State Coroners’ Association. I found your presentation very helpful in slowly, logically and methodically breaking down the components of visual identification. All of us Ohio coroners and investigators do this primarily intuitively by looking at pictures, but breaking down the science of this with expert letters from world-renowned scientists will be helpful to me and many others for future use in our legal obligation to properly identify the deceased.
More specifically, the photographs of Sister Lucia, the Fatima visionary, showed a clear fraud. Pre-1960 Lucia, visionary, was replaced by an impostor in 1967. The evidence you presented was completely convincing as to this point and 100% of our coroners and coroners’ investigators present at the meeting, totaling well over 100, all agreed that they were two different people. I hope that the proper legal authorities will investigate this, because it points not only to fraud, but possibly murder. Thank you for your important work and please keep me posted on any new information as it comes to light.

Unfortunately, a lot of people will simply ignore or dismiss facts that don’t fit into their worldview, especially if doing so prevents undesirable consequences.
That is tragic, for it is precisely the indifference to truth that St. Paul the Apostle identified as one of the reasons why, before the Second Coming of Christ, God will permit a great deception to mislead most of mankind:
And then that wicked one shall be revealed whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth; and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming, him, whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power, and signs, and lying wonders, and in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish; because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: That all may be judged who have not believed the truth, but have consented to iniquity.

Last year, the Fatima Center of Canada acknowledged the scientific evidence for a false Sr. Lucy and adopted the impostor position:
