Father Louis Campbell, R.I.P.

The sedevacantist St. Jude Shrine in Stafford, Texas, has released the following announcement:

Father Louis Campbell died peacefully today, 18 December, at 12:40 pm CST accompanied by many caretakers who were saying the Rosary at the time he expired. Funeral arrangements are being made and a funeral date will be announced within the coming days. We are most fortunate to have a priest coming soon who will be able to bury Father. Please pray for the repose of the soul of Father Campbell, whose service to God has been nothing short of heroic.

Father received the Last Rites from a Maronite Catholic priest several weeks ago and died wearing his brown scapular.

Originally ordained in 1961 for the Augustinian order, Fr. Campbell was a priest for over six decades. Some archived sermons of his are still available online at the Daily Catholic site (2002-2006) and at his parish web site (2019-2023).

Please pray for the repose of the soul of this stalwart warrior for the true Catholic religion. May Almighty God now grant him eternal rest.
