On Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) received the Rev. Michael Jonas in a private audience. Although his nationality is German, Jonas is the pastor of the Evangelical-Lutheran community in Rome, a post he’s held since 2018.
