- In his daily sermon, a passive-aggressive Francis stresses that being “accustomed to accusing others” and being “nosy” about their lives is “an ugly sin”
- Legatus, a national organization of Novus Ordo businessmen, has announced it is placing its annual tithe to the Vatican in escrow until they can get clarification on how these funds are used

- The Attorney General of New York “has subpoenaed all eight Roman Catholic dioceses in the state as part of her office’s investigation into the church’s handling of sex abuse allegations”
