The Anti-Modernist Reader is a multi-volume anthology of articles written by several sedevacantist clerics since the 1990s, many of which have been published at TraditionalMass.org. The essays are arranged topically, with each volume being dedicated to a particular topic. This first volume, now published, deals with the divinely-established office of the papacy. Future volumes will include material on the Holy Mass, on the Sacraments, on Sedevacantism, and more.

The following is a description of The Anti-Modernist Reader’s first volume, “The Papacy”, as it appears on the back cover, slightly modified:

For over fifty years, the fallout of the Second Vatican Council has ravaged the world, leaving the spiritual equivalent of a radioactive wasteland in its wake. Not only have souls fled the faith in numbers unheard of, but the rest of the world — hitherto held in check by the example of the Catholic Church — has been unleashed in unbridled fury.

While many works have analyzed the council in depth and shown its rotten fruit, far too few have delved into the deeper issue of what the reality of this council and the “bastard Mass” it spawned means. This first volume of The Anti-Modernist Reader goes down that proverbial “rabbit hole” to examine the nature of the Church, her indefectibility, and the office of her visible head, Christ’s Vicar on Earth, the Pope.

In a series of articles by Bishop Donald Sanborn, Rector of Most Holy Trinity Seminary in Brooksville, Florida, Fr. Anthony Cekada of St. Gertrude Church in West Chester, Ohio, and other clergy, these issues are examined and fully illuminated through painstaking research and reference to popes, saints, and theologians of the Catholic Church. In reading this volume the reader will have his eyes opened to the inescapable conclusion that the Novus Ordo Sect, spawned by Vatican II, is NOT and CANNOT BE the Catholic Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, and its leader is not Christ’s Vicar.
