Breaking point, here we come!
Prominent Novus Ordo Priest on Francis:
“We Can’t Wait for Him to Die”
The British journalist Andrew Brown published a lengthy article written for The Guardian this past Friday: “The War Against Pope Francis” is the title, and it’s a mostly descriptive piece trying to give an overview of what the mess over “Pope” Francis and especially Amoris Laetitia within the Vatican II Sect is all about. Although it is evident that the writer is by no means a Catholic and his write-up reflects the usual liberal attitude against the Catholic Church, it is at least not overly hostile.
A few things ought to be said, however, about the opening paragraphs. This is how the author begins:
Pope Francis is one of the most hated men in the world today. Those who hate him most are not atheists, or protestants, or Muslims, but some of his own followers. Outside the church he is hugely popular as a figure of almost ostentatious modesty and humility. From the moment that Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio became pope in 2013, his gestures caught the world’s imagination: the new pope drove a Fiat, carried his own bags and settled his own bills in hotels; he asked, of gay people, “Who am I to judge?” and washed the feet of Muslim women refugees.

What is apparently a great irony to Mr. Brown — to wit, that the “Pope’s” enemies should be those inside the Church, not those outside — is quickly resolved in the explanation the author himself gives: Francis is disliked by “some of his own followers” precisely because “he is hugely popular” in the eyes of all the wrong people, that is, those who are clearly not Catholics: atheists, Protestants, Muslims, etc. And why is he popular with them? Because they have all just found their love for Catholicism? No, but because he is so obviously not Catholic that he appeals to everyone except Catholics.
Brown has no idea how right he is to associate the word “ostentatious” with Francis. That is exactly what his “modesty and humility” is all about.
So he drives a Fiat! That’s right — he decided to forego the “expensive” Mercedes the Vatican had received as a gift because he wanted to look humble.
So he carried his own bag up the steps of an airplane. Incredible! Did you also know that he did that entirely for show? The bag had already been put on his plane, and he demanded it be brought back down again so he could be seen walking up the steps carrying his own bag.
Paying one’s bills is a matter of justice and in the case of anyone else would have been done discreetly by means of a third party. But that’s not good enough for Francis, of course. He did it in person because he wanted to be seen paying his hotel bill — and talked about, of course.
One of the characteristics of true humility is not attracting attention. That’s not exactly a description of Francis, is it? Trying to be singular is a sign of pride, not of humility. We call it “The Francis Show” and “‘Humility’ on Display” for a reason, folks.
Back to Mr. Brown’s article. The most explosive part is found in the second paragraph:
But within the church, Francis has provoked a ferocious backlash from conservatives who fear that this [Bergoglian] spirit will divide the church, and could even shatter it. This summer, one prominent English priest said to me: “We can’t wait for him to die. It’s unprintable what we say in private. Whenever two priests meet, they talk about how awful Bergoglio is … he’s like Caligula: if he had a horse, he’d make him cardinal.” Of course, after 10 minutes of fluent complaint, he added: “You mustn’t print any of this, or I’ll be sacked.”
Later in the article, this same “priest” is quoted again:
“The Pope has never said anything nice about priests,” said the priest who can’t wait for him to die. “He’s an anti-clerical Jesuit. I remember that from the 70s. They’d say: ‘Don’t call me Father, call me Gerry’ – that crap – and we, the downtrodden parish clergy, feel the ground has been cut from under our feet.”
It’s a pity that this “prominent English priest” is not mentioned by name, but the report is entirely credible. Here at Novus Ordo Watch, we heard the same thing earlier this year, from a somewhat prominent Novus Ordo layman in the United States: “Everyone is praying for him to die.”
Not we sedevacantists. He’s the best advertisement for the truth of our position we’ve ever had. Ad multos annos!
Francis will turn 81 on December 17. Although he only has one lung and seems exhausted at times, it will probably be a few more years still before he is called to render an account before the Divine Judge, something he thinks will be a big hugfest. That would be enough time for him to repent and do penance, which we can only pray he will do — but it would also be enough time for him to cause even greater damage to the hapless flock that believes this blaspheming apostate to be the Vicar of Christ.

As a sede I mostly feel the same way: the more Jorge perverts/rejects the Faith then the better it is for those who are sincere in their desire to see the Truth. On the OTHER hand though, how many souls, ultimately through their own selfishness of course, will be content to believe that “he’s our pope” and not strive to learn their Faith? Yes, these people will be damned, and Jorge will be damned for leading them down the wide road….but as sede’s who know better, is this really what we want? I truly dont know the answer.
Food for thought: when a soul goes to hell, the devil wins. Obviously the majority of people today (perhaps more than ever before) deserve hell for their deeds. But we pray that no one goes to hell, precisely so the devil is cheated out of another soul he may have harnessed all through their earthly life.
It’s incorrect to say these people will be damned. Only God knows what is in the heart. Many are not culpable, for their deepest desire is indeed to be Catholic, yet they’ve have been infected with the viral illness which is the Heresy of Modernism. This problem is also intertwined with Catholic teaching on Predestination.
I agree that only God can judge what is in a man’s heart and it’s all Catholics desire that all are saved and many of the blinded sect desire to be Catholic and follow Christ. It is heartbreaking that many who leave the shackles of a false religion to become the followers of Christ are caught up in the Vatican II sect but we can only pray that through God’s mercy they all embrace the true Catholic faith before their time is up on this earth. Like many mysteries we cannot fathom the full extent of God’s mercy or His justice so we leave these souls in his hands . We are commission as Catholics to be faithful to the truth and to give those who have been blinded by the sect a beacon to follow to that truth.

Rich: Although Roncalli through Jorge are a great scandal, it seems the bulk of the blame falls on souls who believe the lies, or who do not care enough to learn their faith.
People didn’t care when Roncalli was the favorite of the Freemasons and the Communists. They did not care when he promoted Freedom of Conscience. They did not care that he allowed Padre Pio’s confessional to be bugged. People did not care about the Paul VI turning the church upside down with the New Mass, and the New Calendar, nuns abandoning their habits, fasting and abstinence nearly entirely eliminated, new rites of ordination to priesthood and consecration to the episcopacy. People didn’t care if Wojtyla promulgated a new Code of Canon Law allowing non-Catholics to receive communion. They did not care if he said Christ’s Miracles do not prove His divinity. They did not care when he did the blasphemous Assisi gatherings. They did not care when he kissed the Koran, had cow dung smeared on his forehead by an Indian priestess, worshipped with the Jews, gave sermons at Lutheran Churches, etc. And, for the most part, people do not care that Jorge promulgated the apostatic regurgitation Amoris Laetitia, or that he “canonized” Roncalli and Wojtyla.
It is because people don’t care, that they do not study the traditional faith. If they studied and loved the Catholic Faith, they would not put up with all this nonsense.
The real perniciousness of Roncalli (John XXIII) was that he did all his evil machinations while disguising himself as a Catholic. With each of his “successors” the disguise has been, layer by layer, removed to reveal what exactly has been taking place. Now that we have the total buffoonery of Jorge, a FEW people are waking up. But the vast majority do not care about preserving the deposit of the faith.
Therefore, I am in the camp of those who want the buffoonery to continue, and become even more flamboyant. These people are flaming Modernists and flaming Liberals. I am all for them being on display as such. It makes the contrast between the Catholic Faith and the Novus Ordo faith all the more evident. And perhaps it will be the occasion of a few who still care a little bit to separate themselves from the novelties, and join the Catholics who still preserve the Roman Catholic Faith.
Sedevacantists are not encouraging evil. We are pointing out the great disparity between the God-centered Catholic Church and the man-centered Novus Ordo Church. We are not hoping for the damnation of anyone. But we are hoping to point out the impossibility that the Novus Ordo Church, and the Novus Ordo “popes” are Catholic. Men like Jorge make it so much easier to show that the two religions are 180 degrees out of phase.

I remember that Roncalli did not chastise anyone for bugging the confessional. But I am still trying to get information, so that I can cite specific references. Jorge is just a symptom , the Vatican II council was inspired by evil and the sect continues to slide deeper into the abyss . Scripture has warned Christians of this time.

Ghost, the fruits of the Council are obvious even in the non Catholic and secular world. In the community I grew up in which was a mix of Catholics and non Catholics almost no family had a divorced member in it. by the 1980’s almost every family was stricken by divorce. I believe the Vatican II sect is being spoken of in the The Book of Wisdom 4:4 ” And if they flourish for a time, yet standing not fast, they shall be shaken with the wind, and through the force of the wind they shall be rooted out’ , I believe it will be by supernatural means because God works his will in most cases among the weakest so no man can boast.

I’m sure Quisling was very popular among Germans in the 40’s also. But not with the Norwegians. When someone in power betrays, humiliates, ridicules and demonizes his own people, his own tradition, he makes a great feast of a meal for their enemies and opposing traditions. None of the conciliar “popes” has gone so far down the road of self-contempt and self-loathing. The great “Disfiguration” of the “conciliar church” is fully revealed in this man.

I don’t pray for Jorge’s death, because what will replace him will be the same as what we have had since Vatican II. They systematically got rid of old bishops and cardinals, they have persecuted their own “conservative” prelates. They are on the path of “canonizing” every “pope” since Vatican II from Roncalli to the homo Montini, to Albino Luciani, to Wojtyla. They will likely try to do it with The Rat, too. So, his death will not change anything.
But, I must admit I had a celebration of sorts when Almighty God called Karol Wojtyla to his “eternal reward.” Now Karol is very likely side by side with his buddy, the profoundly religious man and great reformer, Martin Luther. They deserve each others luminous “company.”
