In case you missed our initial announcement on Nov. 23: We have published another full-length episode of our popular TRADCAST podcast program. As always, it is loaded with real traditional Catholicism, insightful commentary, hard-hitting refutations of various errors, and razor-sharp analysis. Our content is typically challenging but is always delivered in an accessible way — not excluding an occasional relieving touch of humor, so necessary in our chaotic and bizarre times.

The first portion of TRADCAST 034 is dedicated to a review of how the Vatican’s present-day ecumenism, originating in the Second Vatican Council (1962-65), differs in essence from the traditional Catholic position on religious unity before Vatican II and is totally incompatible with it; in fact, the two positions are mutually exclusive. We also look at a curious statement “Pope” Francis made on Nov. 4, 2022, to a group of Muslims in Bahrain, namely, that “the great religious traditions must be the heart that unites the members of the body [of humanity], the soul that gives hope and life to its highest aspirations” (source); and we end with a shocking quote from the Patriarch of Baghdad, who says it does not matter to God what religion we are, as long as we help our neighbor.

In the second part of TRADCAST 034, we examine who in the Catholic Church has the divine guarantee of always maintaining, safeguarding, and passing on Sacred Tradition, and we find it’s not the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX). We consider the miraculous propagation and preservation of the Holy Roman Catholic Church throughout the ages and contrast it with the Great Apostasy and “operation of error” (2 Thess 2:10) that began devastating everything after the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958. As the final topic being discussed, we expose how Francis preaches mercy and forgiveness without repentance, and we refute his false doctrine from Catholic teaching.

If you are new to this program, you will find that listening to TRADCAST is like drinking from a firehose of information. As always, the podcast is interlaced with interesting and important insights, powerful quotes from solid Catholic sources, and amusing moments of levity! The total run time of TRADCAST 034 is 1 hour and 22 minutes.
