The two have a lot in common…
From Layman to Layman:
“Pope” Sends Greetings to Anglican “Archbishop” of Canterbury
Like Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Anglican Justin Welby isn’t a Catholic either. The similarities don’t stop there, however: Neither Bergoglio nor Welby have ever been validly ordained to the priesthood, much less to the episcopacy. The occasion of this congratulatory message of “Pope Francis” to Archlayman Welby provides a welcome opportunity to review the evidence regarding this and remind people of the seriousness of the situation with the Novus Ordo Church and the Anglican Church:
Pope Leo XIII Declares All Anglican Ordinations Invalid
- “Wherefore, strictly adhering, in this matter, to the decrees of the pontiffs, our predecessors, and confirming them most fully, and, as it were, renewing them by our authority, of our own initiative and certain knowledge, we pronounce and declare that ordinations carried out according to the Anglican rite have been, and are, absolutely null and utterly void.” (Pope Leo XIII, Bull Apostolicae Curae [1896], par. 36)
- Conclusion: There is no Archbishop Welby — he’s Mr. Welby, nothing more. Yet the Novus Ordo Vatican keeps acting as though Anglicans had valid clergy. In 2009, bogus “Pope” Benedict XVI gave a pectoral cross to the then-Archlayman of Canterbury, Mr. Rowan Williams. Similarly, bogus “Pope” Paul VI in 1966 gave an episcopal ring to David Ramsey, the Archlayman of Canterbury at the time. (See news story on both items here.)
Catholic Sacramental Theology: The Novus Ordo Rite (1968) of Episcopal Consecration Is Invalid
The exact same principles that lead to the conclusion that the Anglican ordinations are invalid also tell us that the Novus Ordo ordinations are invalid. The following are links to PDF files showing how Paul VI’s rite of Episcopal Consecration is definitely invalid
