2017 Fundraising Challenge:
Donor Incentives for September 2017

Our big fundraising campaign for 2017 continues! (Read the full background story here.)

In this month of September 2017, we’re going to do things a bit differently. Instead of offering different gifts for donations of certain amounts, we’re going to offer a set of three terrific traditional Catholic books to every seventh donor who gives $10 or more, while our supplies last. (Please see further restrictions and details below.)

The three books in question are:

Click on each link for more information. This is a terrific set of three very important books that ought to be in every traditional Catholic’s library. A note of clarification: The book The Church Teaches does not contain complete Church documents but only excerpts, arranged by topic. It includes an index and a cross-reference table to the popular Denzinger.

To be eligible to win a set, you must:

  • make an online donation of $10 or more
  • in a single, immediately-completed transaction (i.e. no “pending” transactions that require verification from your bank, no transactions that require us to “accept” them first before they are final, etc.)
  • using either our PayPal or our Aplos/WePay payment processors (links found below)
  • between September 1, 2017 and September 30, 2017 (Eastern Daylight Saving Time / UTC-04:00)

Meeting these conditions does not mean you will receive a set — it means you will be eligible to win one. We have a total of 5 sets to give away.

The winners will be determined by objectively verifiable criteria, based on the date/time stamps provided to us by our payment processors indicating when the donation was received (this ensures that there are no grey areas and there is no room for misunderstanding or manipulation):

  • every seventh (7th) eligible donor (eligible according to the criteria given above) will win one copy of Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma, one copy of Church History, and one copy of The Church Teaches
  • the “seventh eligible donor” criterion applies to donations received both through PayPal and through Aplos/WePay, respectively; i.e., every seventh eligible donor who used PayPal wins, and every seventh donor who used Aplos/WePay wins
  • only one eligible transaction per individual and/or entity, regardless of which payment processor is used
  • the winners will be contacted directly by us by email no later than October 7, 2017
  • in the event that a winner does not want to receive any or all of these three books, Novus Ordo Watch reserves the right (but does not occur the obligation) to offer them to another eligible donor
  • this offer expires when all five of our sets have been won, or on September 30, 2017 at 11:59:59 pm EDST, whichever comes first
