Francis to Divine Word Missionaries:
God Always Forgives, So Never Deny Absolution!

On June 28, 2024, ‘Pope’ Francis (Jorge M. Bergoglio) received in audience a number of Missionaries of the Divine Word, who were holding their general chapter in the nearby city of Nemi.

In his address, ‘His Holiness’ failed to surprise, instructing the Verbites (as the Divine Word missionaries are called) to be “missionaries of synodality”:

A Church that “goes forth” is open to others. It is a welcoming and embracing community where the Lord lives and the Spirit is active. The Church that goes out is extroverted, while a partisan Church is introverted. Always be open, put your heart into it! Today the Church must grow in a synodal approach, listening to everyone, dialoguing with everyone, and discerning in the Holy Spirit what is her mission. Synodality is not a question of being in fashion. “Synodality is essentially missionary and, vice versa, mission is always synodal” (Message for World Mission Day, 20 October 2024). For this reason, I encourage you to promote synodality in every aspect of your life. May every community grow and enjoy a synodal “style” whereby each member feels listened to and accepted. Finally, do as the Spirit tells you, but be sure to be sensitive to the way the Spirit moves: gently, among the simple and in the most distant places.

So many words, so little sense! The truth is, of course, that when it comes to genuine evangelization/mission, the institution led by Bergoglio is not a “church that goes forth” but a run-away church that hides the Gospel from the world.

Francis’ own recent encounter with Buddhist monks underscored that once more, in which he allowed the professional pagans to pray over him at the Vatican.

Moreover, for years now the Modernist from Buenos Aires has been preaching that God wills many different religions, who are to be considered an ‘enrichment’ to humanity, reflecting the supposedly manifold ways there are to find God. So much for that ‘missionary’ and ‘prophetic’ church that ‘goes forth’!

Francis had  more to say in his address to the Divine Word missionaries, however. In the context of being “missionary disciples”, the false pope once again returned to one of his favorite, perpetually-recurring themes, that of priests ‘always forgiving’ in confession, no matter the dispositions of the penitent or any other circumstance:

All of the baptized are called to be missionary disciples, and fidelity to this vocation, always by the grace of God, is our commitment. Faithful disciples are recognized by the joy of the Gospel that lights up their face, from the way they live their life and thus transmit to others the love that they first received and continue to receive anew each day. Experiencing the love of the Trinity and keeping alive the flame of the Spirit is vital to our growth as missionary disciples and religious. That flame daily renews us; it purifies and transforms us as we make our pilgrim way, ever conscious of our sins, amid the blandishments of this world. Yet, you have to be courageous and confident in the mercy of God, who always forgives. We, too, must always forgive and never deny absolution.

With this twaddle he can make himself appear oh-so incredibly ‘merciful’ before the world, but in actual fact, he is gravely offending God, profaning the sacrament, denying Catholic teaching, and causing grave harm to the souls of confessors and, even more so, to the souls of penitents, as one of Bergoglio’s own presbyters in Italy has now also warned.

Here it becomes clear once more that Bergoglio is not interested in leading souls to salvation. By exhorting priests never to deny absolution, he may appear to have a great, merciful love for souls; but people properly instructed in the Catholic religion know that such appearance does not correspond to reality. Francis is gravely harming souls under the guise of offering them mercy, under pretense of guiding them to salvation! “For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light” (2 Cor 11:13-14).

First, it is simply not true that God always forgives. Our Blessed Lord Himself made clear that there are circumstances under which God will not forgive our sins:

For if you will forgive men their offences, your heavenly Father will forgive you also your offences. But if you will not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive you your offences. (Mt 6:14-15).

Not every one that saith to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doth the will of my Father who is in heaven, he shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. Many will say to me in that day: Lord, Lord, have not we prophesied in thy name, and cast out devils in thy name, and done many miracles in thy name? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity. (Mt 7:21-23)

Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come. (Mt 12:31-32)

But what think you? A certain man had two sons; and coming to the first, he said: Son, go work today in my vineyard. And he answering, said: I will not. But afterwards, being moved with repentance, he went. And coming to the other, he said in like manner. And he answering, said: I go, Sir; and he went not. Which of the two did the father’s will? They say to him: The first. Jesus saith to them: Amen I say to you, that the publicans and the harlots shall go into the kingdom of God before you. (Mt 21:28-31)

We should mention here that the “blasphemy of the Spirit” mentioned by Our Lord is not unforgivable in the sense that one could be truly sorry for having blasphemed the Holy Ghost and yet God would refuse His forgiveness even through the ministry of the priest in the confessional. That is not what is meant. Besides Francis’ heretical claim that God always forgives everyone who asks for forgiveness, it is likewise criminal to suggest, as he does, that priests must never deny absolution. When our Blessed Lord instituted the sacrament of penance, He instructed His Apostles: “Whose sins you shall forgive, they are forgiven them; and whose sins you shall retain, they are retained” (Jn 20:23). He didn’t say: “Always forgive everybody’s sins.”

Christ gave to His Apostles not only the power to loose but also to bind, and that is for a reason: “Amen I say to you, whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, shall be bound also in heaven; and whatsoever you shall loose upon earth, shall be loosed also in heaven” (Mt 18:18). In fact, we see an example of that in the First Letter of St. Paul to the Corinthians, in which St. Paul mentions that he excommunicated a particularly egregious sinner (see 1 Cor 5:1-5) — who subsequently repented and was pardoned (see 2 Cor 2:5-8). That is the whole idea behind excommunication to begin with: to bring a terrible sinner to his senses and get him to amend his ways.

There is a sense in which it is true to say that “God always forgives”, but only if we mean by it that God remits all sins confessed (and absolved) with the necessary dispositions on the part of the penitent, especially supernatural contrition. It is not true if we mean that whatever is confessed is also forgiven regardless of how the penitent is disposed. While from the very beginning of his false pontificate, Francis has been drowning his sheeple in the misleading mantra that “God never tires of forgiving”, he has never, to our knowledge, actually spelled out what constitutes true, supernatural repentance, without which forgiveness is not possible.

Thus we see that Bergoglio is not interested in people actually repenting of their sins and thus being able to obtain forgiveness in the sacrament of penance.

Rather, his goal is to lead countless souls to perdition while maintaining the false appearance of infinite mercy and forgiveness.
