Anyone who researches Sedevacantism will quickly com across the name of Father Anthony Cekada (1951-2020), who was a pioneer in the movement and one of its most prolific defenders.
Ordained by Abp. Marcel Lefebvre for the Society of St. Pius X in 1977, Fr. Cekada was one of “The Nine” who were famously expelled by the archbishop in 1983, along with other well-known names such as Fathers Donald Sanborn, William Jenkins, Daniel Dolan, Clarence Kelly, and others.
