More free traditional Catholic radio!
More Catholic Content from True Restoration
Frequent visitors to Novus Ordo Watch will be familiar with the sedevacantist media apostolate True Restoration, which we link to and promote from time to time on this blog. True Restoration uses the media of print, video, radio, and in-person conferences to bring about a genuine restoration of all things in Christ. In the past we have occasionally sponsored sundry individual episodes as well as entire shows of their Restoration Radio program, allowing people to access this audio content entirely free of charge, without a paid subscription.
But it is now time to step our efforts up a bit.
Over the next four years, through our sponsorship Seasons 3 and 4 of Restoration Radio will gradually be released for free to the public in their entirety (Season 1 and Season 2 are already available free of charge).
In addition, beginning this year, Novus Ordo Watch will be returning as a sponsor of the popular Francis Watch program with Bp. Donald Sanborn and Fr. Anthony Cekada. This means Francis Watch will be entirely free beginning this season and will be released quarterly. Meanwhile, as you eagerly await the next episode of Francis Watch, you can binge-listen (if you can handle that much Francis) to Seasons 3 and 4, which are free to the public now at FrancisWatch.org.
Novus Ordo Watch has also acquired the exclusive rights to the TR-produced shows “The Spiritual Life” with Fr. Bernard Uttley, OSB, “Escape from the Novus Ordo” with Fr. Michael Oswalt, and “Tradition and the Church”, likewise with Fr. Oswalt. All of these shows are now entirely free of charge (click the links to access).
It is our pleasure to be able to sponsor this much audio content for the good of souls and for the greater glory of God. In this manner we try to fulfill in part our stated goal of helping to educate people in the true Roman Catholic religion and making people aware of how true Catholicism differs essentially from the fake Novus Ordo/Vatican II counterpart that is currently occupying the Catholic structures.
By helping to make this content from True Restoration free of charge, we render it accessible to a much wider audience than would otherwise have benefited from it. This is one way in which we would like to “give back” in gratitude to our donors, without whom operating Novus Ordo Watch would not be possible.
We pray that souls will benefit greatly from all the content now being released. Please help distribute it by sharing this post or by sharing the direct links to the newly-released free content.
If you would like to support Novus Ordo Watch, you may do so by making a tax-deductible donation here, or you can help out in eleven other ways here.
This is great news!
‘Escape from the Novus Ordo’ is a classic and ‘Francis Watch’ is comedy gold as well as being very informative, a powerful combination.
Yippee! That’s really good news for little souls in far flung European Continent! Thank you Now and True Restoration Radio! It’s the best of all worlds! God bless you and keep up the great work!
NOW: As a prospective NOW donor, I am curious about something. How much is TR charging you for this partnership?
I mentionned it on Twitter but I am mentionning it here….Nothing like good partnership teams to promulgate the restoration of faith and morals….thank you NOW. I can just picture Francis pouting!
Thank you! Thank you!! It will be wonderful to be able to listen again!
+ It won’t bother a lot of people, but here are the three signatures on the VII Ecumenism document, in order:
Pius V, Abp. Lefebvre, Abp. Thuc. It had been made clear to all that this change went counter to all previous Catholic doctrine. Abp. Lefebvre walked back his signature in six languages and regained sanctifying grace that way, but not jurisdiction, were we not using epikeia. Abp. Thuc has other issues but regaining sanctifying grace in his case also is not enough. I am an appreciative former TRR subscriber; Now, having gained some understanding and being a former protestant I am not in a rush to use epikeia and being a former teacher I know well the use of Epikeia by students would be commonplace! Sorry everybody because I know I’ll be virtually alone on this.
TRR will prosper financially and so will the men associated with it who are in the position of priest and bishop. Bp. Sanborn always understood the importance of money to the continuation of his mission. This doesn’t mean that a humbler set of men wouldn’t simply renounce everything they’ve gained in order to really dovetail with previous Catholic jurisdiction ‘rules.’ In order to really understand this, https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxchIU3wZYCIcVlPdktSYlEzVnM/view read about Confessional Jurisdiction. No one will be able to gainsay Eric Hoyle if he persists in reading the entire. +
Nandarani33 meant Paul VI and has corrected her post.
Anybody like this who also posts at pistrina, should be banned from posting here. They are simply troublemakers.
NOW: I have a follow-up to my earlier question, and I hope you will answer. I recall TR announcing a few years ago they adopted a “business model”. They are a for-profit, no? Yet NOW is a not-for-profit. If a for-profit and not-for-profit are now in a “partnership” as you say, but the not-for-profit is the one paying the for-profit (rather than the other way around), are donors to NOW now funding the for-profit indirectly? Are people in TR now making money off of NOW? I hope not.
Dear “Potential Donor” (wink):
You can relax, there is nothing fishy going on here.
As far as I know, True Restoration is a for-profit corporation, yes. Novus Ordo Watch is a non-profit corporation. Perhaps “partnership” is not the correct term to use here, I don’t know. This is just a blog post, not a legal document.
Just about everybody else posting in this combox got the message and received it with joy: More traditional Catholic content, beneficial to souls, is now available thanks to Novus Ordo Watch. You’re welcome.
Basically, what’s happening is that we’re sponsoring a number of shows so that they are now freely accessible to all, not requiring a subscription. The content of these shows is exactly in line with our mission statement. In fact, a number of people had asked us to sponsor more shows, specifically the very popular Francis Watch.
Anyone can sponsor shows — private people, legal entities, even non-profits. If more private individuals had done so, this content would have been publicly accessible sooner. There is nothing wrong with a non-profit organization helping to allow this content to be released to the public, for a reasonable fee, and I can assure that it is a VERY reasonable, i.e. affordable, fee. I can also assure you that if anyone at True Restoration is “making money off of NOW”, it will be enough for a can of beans.
You do not need to donate if you do not want to. That is totally okay.
I’m sorry but your comment reminds me of the Pharisees complaining to Our Lord that He healed people on the Sabbath.
Putting aside your unnecessary jab about the Pharisees, thank you for the reassuring clarification. You’re doing great work, but make sure you always maintain your independence from for-profit enterprises. Current and prospective donors need to ask these questions.
Thank you. I apologize if anything I said was unjustified, but sometimes people in the combox are just trying to stir up trouble. God bless you.
It was my understanding that TR are working to ensure they cover their expenses so it’s a sustainable venture. I don’t think they’re racking in the money. Book publishing in particular often runs at a loss.
Muito bom! Very Good!
Just to let everyone know, Cox’s forum (where he goes by the name of Voxx*) promotes going to the Eastern rite where the priest is still attached to the false pope in Rome. And, for example, if you join that forum and support Bp. Sanborn in his condemnation of “Opinionism”, you can easily get banned. (The guy doesn’t know yet that “sede” is NOT pronounced as “seed”).
Jean, you didn’t seem to get the answer already given you. NOW’s use of the term “partnership” was not talking about a legal business partnership. Agreements and payments by NOW to the products/services of other for-profit businesses means nothing really more than NOW’s payments for web hosting and domain name registration. The term “partnership” in this article is apparently used because NOW wishes to show that TR and NOW have a common moral objective to help restore the Church.
No, Rube, you didn’t seem to get that I got NOW’s answer the first time. I was responding to “resolution” on a separate point. I won’t be commenting further on this thread, but please reread my response to “resolution” carefully.
I was thrown off a little by your concerns in your last message to NOW, which you didn’t go into detail about, like when you said, “make sure you always maintain your independence from for-profit enterprises”.
May I make an observation….they all agree on doctrinal matters….(the doctrine or teachings of the faith….they don’t always agree on theological matters….and this understandable considering the fact that we have no pope to solve those theological questions…
Even not for profits have a business model. You have to run your operation somehow. I’m unsure why you’re upset about this.
In response to Rube and I am sure, others, Hello. I think each of us is unique in how we understand stuff and for me, the more information I have, the better. Why would I chose to be less happy, in a way, than before I read Eric Hoyle’s exhaustive work on confessional jurisdiction? No way – I have always been about being happy!! And I still have relocating ahead of me, to the mainland from HI. Was all set to proceed to Brooksville – it seemed ideal as my grandfather was a Lutheran seminary professor (!), and had found the ideal place to live, too – with all areas needed reachable by bike except the seminary was a stretch at @ 10 miles away. I planned to do it daily and run my life around daily mass. Best wishes to everybody: none of is is perfect and everyone has their own song to sing as best they can !
Very Important! Everyone please read if anyone is still reading the comments.
Just because I read about jurisdiction Does Not mean that all those I met inside TRR and its associated priests and bishops were left lightly! And several will never be left but always treasured in my heart. Notably, Bp. Dolan was unsurpassably helpful to me over a long period of time, when I was teaching in an extremely stressful job, he was available, sent holy water in response to a donation and replying to each letter I sent though busy. He Appreciates devotions, and so do I having never had the Eucharist nor any valid Catholic service being raised Episcopalian – they are my life line to meditation and enormous peace of soul.
I am happier than ever in my life and only wish the same for everyone. Fr. Desposito is very special also; he also responded to me and cared. I always liked listening to him, and Bp. Dolan, and others. I learn by hearing as well as reading.
So! Let it be understood by all or no one: Stephen Heiner is very talented and has a strong sense of business as well as dedication and enormous communication skills so effective and such a sense of humor, too! We are all carrying our crosses. Those behind NOW – all are wonderful. These times require many different approaches and I for one never found it easy to switch gears once something seemed to ‘work.’
We are all different; our destinies are different; I am being helped along, as are we all.
No more valuable treasure than the true church and no more confusing and fraught times than now, in which we all were born… but it will get worse before it gets better it seems. Many are suffering in Hawaii the only place I know well now…
I am glad that the ideological alliances are out of the shadows. It’s good to know.
