“Saint” John Paul the Great… Apostate!
The above video clip shows more of the “saintly” deeds of the apostate bishop Karol Wojtyla, best known under his pseudonym “Pope John Paul II”. This is the man the current usurper in Rome, “Pope” Francis, will “canonize” as a “Catholic Saint” on April 27 of this year.
The 1986 Assisi Interreligious Prayer for Peace gathering was one of the most outrageous acts of blasphemy ever committed by the Vatican II Sect, in a Catholic holy place! A whole book could be written about the event and how diametrically opposed it is to traditional Catholic teaching, but in this blog post we can only touch upon some select points.
The ’86 Assisi meeting was the first-ever of its kind, but not the last. It triggered a whole series of subsequent such events, the most high-profile of which were the 2002 and 2011 meetings, likewise held in Assisi, and presided over by John Paul II and his successor, “Pope” Benedict XVI, respectively.

In his 1979 inaugural encyclical, the then-newly-elected John Paul II had the audacity to teach:
What we have just said [about ecumenism with heretics] must also be applied–although in another way and with the due differences–to activity for coming closer together with the representatives of the non-Christian religions, an activity expressed through dialogue, contacts, prayer in common, investigation of the treasures of human spirituality, in which, as we know well, the members of these religions also are not lacking.
(Antipope John Paul II, Encyclical Redemptor Hominis, n. 6; underlining added.)
So, not only did John Paul II order communicatio in sacris (shared prayer) with non-Catholics who profess to be followers of Christ, he even ordered it with non-Christians, that is, Jews, Muslims, Zoroastrians, Hindus, Sikh, Buddhists, Shintoists, etc. — pagans, idolaters!
This wicked syncretist teaching he was only too happy to apply himself: After returning from a trip to Africa, he candidly admitted in a public Wednesday Audience: “Particularly striking was the prayer meeting in the sanctuary of Our Lady of Mercy at Lake Togo, where I also prayed for the first time with animists” (John Paul II, General Audience, Aug. 21, 1985, n. 8).
This man was not a Catholic, much less a saint! Catholics know they must convert the pagans and preach the Gospel to them (cf. Mk 16:16), not validate their idolatrous “traditional religion” by praying with them! And yet, the institution claiming to be the Catholic Church will “canonize” John Paul II and proclaim him a great saint, on April 27, 2014. Canonizations are acts endowed with infallibility, according to Catholic teaching (see here). The only way it is possible for the Vatican institution to declare John Paul II to be a model to all Catholics who is now in Heaven, is if the Vatican institution is not protected by the charism of infallibility; and the only way this is possible is if it is not in fact the Catholic Church and its head is not in fact a true Pope — which is what we’ve been saying all along.
The Modernist anti-Catholic theology that underlies John Paul II’s interreligious and ecumenical apostasy is exposed in the 4-volume series Pope John Paul II’s Theological Journey to the Prayer Meeting of Religions in Assisi by the (non-sedevacantist) Fr. Johannes Dormann.
The following quotes from Holy Scripture and papal documents will provide a refreshing reality check against the syncretist apostasy perpertrated by the Novus Ordo Sect and its leaders:
Reality Check:
- “For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens.” (Ps 95:5)
- “Turn ye not to idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods. I am the Lord your God.” (Lev 19:4)
- “I will destroy your high places, and break your idols. You shall fall among the ruins of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.” (Lev 26:30)
- “Thou shalt not have strange gods in my sight.” (Deut 5:7)
- “Overthrow their altars, and break down their statues, burn their groves with fire, and break their idols in pieces: destroy their names out of those places.” (Deut 12:3)
- “God is a spirit; and they that adore him, must adore him in spirit and in truth.” (Jn 4:24)
- “It is not licit for the faithful by any manner to assist actively or to have a part in the sacred [rites] of non-Catholics.” (Canon 1258 §1)
- “Whoever in any manner willingly and knowingly helps in the promulgation of heresy, or who communicates in things divine with heretics against the prescription of Canon 1258, is suspected of heresy.” (Canon 2316)
- “For the construction of the Future City they appealed to the workers of all religions and all sects. These were asked but one thing: to share the same social ideal, to respect all creeds, and to bring with them a certain supply of moral force. Admittedly: they declared that ‘The leaders of the Sillon place their religious faith above everything. But can they deny others the right to draw their moral energy from whence they can? In return, they expect others to respect their right to draw their own moral energy from the Catholic Faith. Accordingly they ask all those who want to change today’s society in the direction of Democracy, not to oppose each other on account of the philosophical or religious convictions which may separate them, but to march hand in hand, not renouncing their convictions, but trying to provide on the ground of practical realities, the proof of the excellence of their personal convictions. Perhaps a union will be effected on this ground of emulation between souls holding different religious or philosophical convictions.’ …Here we have, founded by Catholics, an inter-denominational association that is to work for the reform of civilization, an undertaking which is above all religious in character; for there is no true civilization without a moral civilization, and no true moral civilization without the true religion: it is a proven truth, a historical fact.” (Pope St. Pius X, Apostolic Letter Notre Charge Apostolique)
- “But stranger still, alarming and saddening at the same time, are the audacity and frivolity of men who call themselves Catholics and dream of re-shaping society under such conditions, and of establishing on earth, over and beyond the pale of the Catholic Church, ‘the reign of love and justice’ with workers coming from everywhere, of all religions and of no religion, with or without beliefs, so long as they forego what might divide them — their religious and philosophical convictions, and so long as they share what unites them — a ‘generous idealism and moral forces drawn from whence they can.’ When we consider the forces, knowledge, and supernatural virtues which are necessary to establish the Christian City, and the sufferings of millions of martyrs, and the light given by the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, and the self-sacrifice of all the heroes of charity, and a powerful hierarchy ordained in heaven, and the streams of Divine Grace — the whole having been built up, bound together, and impregnated by the life and spirit of Jesus Christ, the Wisdom of God, the Word made man — when we think, I say, of all this, it is frightening to behold new apostles eagerly attempting to do better by a common interchange of vague idealism and civic virtues. What are they going to produce? What is to come of this collaboration? A mere verbal and chimerical construction in which we shall see, glowing in a jumble, and in seductive confusion, the words Liberty, Justice, Fraternity, Love, Equality, and human exultation, all resting upon an ill-understood human dignity.” (Pope St. Pius X, Apostolic Letter Notre Charge Apostolique)
- “For since they hold it for certain that men destitute of all religious sense are very rarely to be found, they seem to have founded on that belief a hope that the nations, although they differ among themselves in certain religious matters, will without much difficulty come to agree as brethren in professing certain doctrines, which form as it were a common basis of the spiritual life. For which reason conventions, meetings and addresses are frequently arranged by these persons, at which a large number of listeners are present, and at which all without distinction are invited to join in the discussion, both infidels of every kind, and Christians, even those who have unhappily fallen away from Christ or who with obstinacy and pertinacity deny His divine nature and mission. Certainly such attempts can nowise be approved by Catholics, founded as they are on that false opinion which considers all religions to be more or less good and praiseworthy, since they all in different ways manifest and signify that sense which is inborn in us all, and by which we are led to God and to the obedient acknowledgment of His rule. Not only are those who hold this opinion in error and deceived, but also in distorting the idea of true religion they reject it, and little by little turn aside to naturalism and atheism, as it is called; from which it clearly follows that one who supports those who hold these theories and attempt to realize them, is altogether abandoning the divinely revealed religion.” (Pope Pius XI, Encyclical Mortalium Animos, n. 2)
- “Trusting in God and relying on His ever present help, [St. Benedict] went south and arrived at a fort ‘called Cassino situated on the side of a high mountain…; on this stood an old temple where Apollo was worshipped by the foolish country people, according to the custom of the ancient heathens. Around it likewise grew groves, in which even till that time the mad multitude of infidels used to offer their idolatrous sacrifices. The man of God coming to that place broke the idol, overthrew the altar, burned the groves, and of the temple of Apollo made a chapel of St. Martin. Where the profane altar had stood he built a chapel of St. John; and by continual preaching he converted many of the people thereabout’.” (Pope Pius XII, Encyclical Fulgens Radiatur, n. 11)
