Vatican Issues Ecumenical ‘Study Document’ Downgrading the Papacy to Appeal to Non-Catholics

The Vatican’s next salvo against Roman Catholicism has been fired, this time in the name of ecumenism and synodality.

Today the Vatican’s so-called Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity released a 146-page ‘study’ document entitled The Bishop of Rome: Primacy and Synodality in the Ecumenical Dialogues and in the Responses to the Encyclical Ut Unum Sint. It contains a preface by the Swiss ‘Cardinal’ Kurt Koch, who is the prefect of the Dicastery, meaning he is the Vatican’s top ecumenist.

The full text has been released in its English original and also in Italian and French translations:

The document was introduced at a press conference today, whose chief speakers were ‘Cardinal’ Koch and the Maltese ‘Cardinal’ Mario Grech, who is the secretary general of the Vatican’s Synod of Bishops. A video of the conference has been made available by Vatican News:

A transcript of the various presentations (in their various original languages) has been released here.

The following reports and/or commentaries on The Bishop of Rome have been released so far:

Rome Reports has released the following 2-minute video clip regarding three key takeaways from the new document:

Our own explosive commentary on this latest assault on Catholic dogma from the Counterfeit Church and its false pope will be published on this blog as soon as possible. We do, however, value quality over speed, so please stay tuned.
