Francis Endorses Vatican II, Bashes Traditionalists
In the walls of the modernist Vatican, it’s business as usual. On April 16, 2013, after prostrating himself in adoration of the Golden Calf of the Second Vatican Council, blasphemously calling it the work of the Holy Ghost, His Phonyness “Pope” Francis (Jorge Bergoglio) explained that there was no turning back of the clock and that those in his church who disagreed with Vatican II were “stubborn” and resisting the Holy Ghost:
The Italian word used by Francis was testardi, and while some have translated it as “stubborn”, others have rendered it as “hard-headed”. In fact, someone has now founded a Facebook club called “Hardheads for Tradition”. And while this may be somewhat humorous to many, the reality of the matter is extremely serious: The “Pope” of the Novus Ordo Church hard-headedly blasphemes the Holy Ghost and emphasizes that the modernist robber synod of Vatican II, which contradicts many Catholic teachings, is irrevocable (as, of course, any true Catholic ecumenical council is). So then why do they still insist that this man is the legitimate Pope of the Catholic Church? Catholic teaching is simple: If he’s the Pope, submit to him; if he’s a heretic, have nothing to do with him. But this idea of a “heretical Pope who need not be submitted to” is entirely foreign to Catholic theology, which is why you will not find it in any Catholic dogmatic manuals. (More on this topic here.)
What was Francis’ defense of the heretical council in his sermon on April 16? Nothing, really; he simply insisted that the Holy Spirit was the guiding force of the council and that the council did “what the Holy Spirit wanted us to do.” That by itself is practically an admission that the council has no theological defense – just call it the work of God and insist that leaving behind the pre-conciliar teaching is God pushing us forward. Blasphemy! Heresy! Apostasy! For this “moving forward” is exactly what the Catholic Church before the Novus Ordo takeover warned against in its directives against Modernism. For example: “It is impossible to approve in Catholic publications a style inspired by unsound novelty which seems to deride the piety of the faithful and dwells on the introduction of a new order of Christian life, on new directions of the Church, on new aspirations of the modern soul, on a new social vocation of the clergy, on a new Christian civilization, and many other things of the same kind” (Pope Leo XIII, as quoted in St. Pius X, Encyclical Pascendi, par. 55, 1907).
Francis is right, however, on one point: For those who believe the Vatican II church to be the true Roman Catholic Church and its leaders (John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul I, John Paul II, Benedict XVI, Francis) to be true Popes, they indeed cannot reject Vatican II but must believe it was protected by the Holy Ghost, for every council document was promgulated with the supposed “apostolic authority” of Paul VI, who ratified each document as follows:
“Each and all these items which are set forth in this dogmatic Constitution [decree, etc.] have met with the approval of the Council Fathers. And We by the apostolic power given Us by Christ together with the Venerable Fathers in the Holy Spirit, approve, decree and establish it and command that what has thus been decided in the Council be promulgated for the glory of God.” [this can be verified at the Vatican web site]
This should make non-sedevacantists think: Either Vatican II was of God, and you must accept it; or it was not of God, and thus the authority that gave it to us was a false authority and not the Roman Catholic Church or the Pope. It is one or the other – there is no in between.
In what may be considered a little poetic justice, Francis made this full-throttle endorsement of Vatican II and his bashing of traditionalists only a few days after “conservative” Novus Ordo apologist Michael Voris of the ChurchMilitant.TV enterprise disingenuously claimed that Francis was embarking on a ‘WWF Papacy’ (we reported on this here). But don’t hold your breath waiting for Voris to cover Francis’ attack on traditionalists – it doesn’t fit into The Vortex, where only some lies and falsehoods are trapped and exposed, while others are hurled at unsuspecting viewers who naively think they’ve finally found a ‘real’ Catholic broadcast.
